When I called the business phone number, I got a girl who answered "hello". No announcement of a business name or anything and you could tell she was on a cell phone out "running around" (not very professional). I wanted to get some curbing done and we agreed on a time for a Saturday at 3PM which she said was perfect since that's the day they did their curbing work. I was to decide on a curbing style and color and then call her back later in the day. When I called back she was unable to deliver the first 2 colors I asked for. We eventually agreed on my 3rd choice and then I could hear her talking to a guy while I was on the phone with her. She came back on the phone and wanted to change the time of the appointment. Since I had already scheduled other vendors to come to my rental I was unwilling. She then put the installer on the phone who again wanted to negotiate the time and move it to earlier in the day, citing it would be hot (duh this is AZ) and their would be a large gap between his last appointment and then mine. I explained my situation and said 3PM or nothing, and he said he couldn't do it. I said fine i would find someone else. He called me back shortly and said that his brother did the same type of work and that he could do the job and would deliver on the initial color I had asked for. I thought okay now we're headed in the right direction. When I went to my rental the following day to meet with the installers no one showed up and no one called. This is not a professional or well run company so I would stay away if you are looking for any work to be done by them.

I had several large areas of dead grass as a direct result of their work that they failed to fix, and while removing a tree they dropped a large limb on a wrought iron fence that was never fixed. After numerous attempt to have things resolved they just stopped returning my attempt to contact them. I ended up paying another service to correct their errors and I'm still battling through the credit card company to cover my additional costs as well as the replacement of the potion of damaged fencing.

We established a schedule and he told us that the first thing done at every visit is for the crew to check our irrigation system to make sure everything is working properly. Wow! We have used many yard maintenance services in the past and this is the first time anyone has offered that! After the first visit, our yard was noticeably improved. In addition to ongoing maintenance, by the way, our yard is looking more awesome with each of their visits, Junior's crew also replaced our 20year old irrigation pipes and freshened the rock that covers most of our yard. He is so knowledgeable about everything in his field! He takes great pride in his work and loves sharing his vast knowledge with his clients. We are so blessed to have Ray and this amazing business! They are tried and true, as we have been using them for a long time. My sister referred them and she found them bc Phoenix Botanical Gardens uses them! If Phoenix Desert Botanical Gardens know they can trust Scottsdale Weed Control & Fertilization then I certainly can! I never have to worry about my beautiful property. They get rid of invasive weeds without harming sensitive plants. They professionally apply pre- and post-emergent to our 1 acre property! We never even have one weed on our property. Most recently they noticed that our BEAUTIFUL Italian cypress had dust mites. I would have been devastated if we lost the cypress and I was so glad that they were able to treat them. The cypress are back to flourishing. I am forever grateful for their excellent service. They deserve a million stars!

I was informed of their hourly rate and minimum time for a 2 man crew. Was informed they could show up on Sat. I Said I would prefer an estimate first as I wasn't sure how long it would take to do the job and their rate is a pricy enough I need to know about how long they think the job would take before committing. The lady I was speaking with said she would get someone over to do that. Asked if they could access the back yard. I said yes. As she was talking about having the job done on Sat, I incorrectly assumed someone would show up Friday or Saturday. Didn't happen. Mon. comes. In the morning while I'm at work a man rings my doorbell, turns around and leaves standing at end of walkway for a minute (on camera). No card left or nothing. Maybe he was there for the estimate or it was something else. Don't know. It's now Tuesday afternoon and I've had no follow up at all. Not impressed with this company.
