I'm transferring my stuff though into the Eisenhower campus so I'll be doing a lot of my other scans on that campus but this place was really really good and I stopped and picked up my Medical forms and they were very kind about getting them done quickly as I waited in the waiting room maybe 10 minutes

I understand things can occur. This MRI required of me, to abstain from Intimacy with my wife for 72 hours and to fast from midnight until the procedure. Okay not a big deal, nothing to get angry about. Here is where it gets worse!!! I called the next day to reschedule and the automated answering service said they were busy and would answer when available. After being on an automated hold call with music for over one hour without anyone picking up the call, their system ended the call. To me that's way way worse than an honest mistake which occurred at my original appt. What do you think? I had to edit this review, as obviously I needed to call back after their system ended my call without answering. So on my second call, again I've been on automated hold again. I'm over an hour again of hold time to reschedule my appt that was postponed by Halo not me. You'll never guess what happened. Yes you guessed it! Same thing occurred on this call!!! Over an hour and their system ended the call. No patient should ever have to wait 2 hours to talk to a live person to make an appt for a medical procedure. That's an indication that the patient is of no concern to the provider. It is a reflection of their professionalism. It should also cause concern for the rest of their ability in other aspects of their business to provide professional service. My new rating is 1

Upon scheduling the MRI appointment the question "do you work around sheet metal was asked. I was confused as to why the question was asked and stated "yes". However, immediately after I redacted my statement and further elaborated that I work in construction , however I don't directly deal with metal. The ball was in the staff's hand with the answer and they should have put "no". I received a phone call one day prior to my scheduled appointment and was told for a second time that I would have to get an xray done on my eye to ensure no sheet metal was in there (AFTER I CONFIRMED THE INITIALLY THAT I DID NOT IN FACT WORK AROUND SHEET METAL.) Once I informed the attendant that I did not want the establishment to bill my insurance, I was met frustration in the tone and was informed the appointment for my MRI was cancelled , prolonging my attempt to seek medical attention. The administrative manager became involved and was ignoring the fact that I didn't work around sheet metal. This left me with the impression that they wanted to milk my insurance. The admin manager was no help with the situation and kept ignoring the fact that the day of scheduling the MRI appointment I said NO and did not take the situation seriously. Overall, the professionalism of addressing the issue was dissatisfying and not taken seriously.

Next up on our desert fodie vacay, a stop at the dog friendly modernist spot on the North end of…read moredowntown - Boozehounds did not disappoint. The two-top table near the bar, with mustard-fabric lounge chairs on low spindled "moon-lander" inspired supports seem to have jumped right out of a 60's time machine, matching the retro vibe in the whole place. Our server was delightful, regaling us with her informative descriptions of her favorite dishes... it's fabulous when a server knows the menu so well that they can describe not only what's in the dish, but why it's so good. Cocktails were an obvious strength, and after my first choice, the pear-inspired Akita was regrettably "out of stock" (she informed us that they had run out of the fresh pear syrup they make by hand each day), I was steered to the It's Giving Julius. This boozy take on the classic Orange Julius, with a mouth-watering egg-white-textured foam floating on rum-infused a citrus blast. For Gayle, it was a moment to savor the non-alcoholic "Clutch Your Pearls," complete with boba pearls atop an icy lime-green concoction. The entire restaurant is themed on "American comfort food with an Asian twist." And let me say, they nailed it in every aspect. My bowl of Tteokbokk was a brilliant spin on a classic Rigatoni bowl, subbing Korean rice cakes for pasta and gochujang spiked tomato sauce for marinara, but keeping the rich parmesan/mozzerella cheese. At the server's suggestion, I topped it with fried pork belly, well executed and delicious, the entire bowl was light with an arrabiatta-like kick. My wife had the Garlic Noodles... imagine a creamy bowl of chicken noodle casserole straight out of the 60's, but without a can of Campbell's Cream of Chicken in sight. Velvety sauce glazed perfectly cooked Ramen noodles with vegetables and chicken... took her right back to her mother's kitchen where the same dish was the perfect remedy for the flu - comforting and scrumptuous without being too heavy. And finally having not overstuffed ourselves on this trip, we opted for the "poor life choice" of dessert. And after asking for the "simple plate of milk and cookies," the server corrected me and stated - rightly so - that this was anything but simple. Three stuffed cookies: Red Velvet with cheesecake cream, S'mores with marshmellow, and cinnamon filled Churro - nuggets from Heaven's bakery, with a glass of cold milk. We managed to finish it and roll on out full of some of the best food we've had this year. The only minor hiccup was when trying to buy merch on our way out, the front stand didn't have a terminal to let us pay, so we had to seek out a bartender to run our credit card (and they were super busy). A minor complaint in the grand scheme... get those hosts a card reader! Note: We didn't see a single dog in the place... but they clearly are welcome to 4-legged clientele. Such a fun spot.

Anyway it's not my day it's my pups day.... soooo luckily there was two of us as you have to be you're own server... pop up and order you're food and drinks, get you're own utensil, get you're own water, go back up and get you're drinks you ordered...., thankfully the most depressed guy in the world (yes same guy who said the misters were on) brought the food to our table...... pup liked his food ..... decor is sooooooooo tired now..... like the entire team who are also by the looks of it tired of the place also.
