I've met with several of the Core Balance physical therapists after going to another clinic for…read moreseveral months. They are so great here! I've made more progress here in about a month than I made in over four months at the other PT place. They work effectively as a team within the office and review notes on progress, overall plan, progression, etc and talk with the other therapists to ensure the treatment is effective for you as an individual (if you're going frequently enough to have to see more than one of course - I have to go twice per week at least now per my doc's referral). Every time I go I'm asked how things are going with my at-home training progress on my own, how I'm feeling that day, etc. which makes a big difference on the strategy for that day's exercises. Instead of just following a list of recommended proceedures and protocols for similar symptoms in others they customize exercise plans for you as an individual. That shouldn't be ground breaking but they do it so well here that it makes it feel like the other places just wanted to check attempts off a list regardless of if things helped or hurt. Their approach is so much more advanced and uniquely tailored compared to other places from what I've both witnessed and experienced personally. I really appreciate the extra care everyone here provides. A big difference with Core Balance is that it truly feels like they're here to really help, and not just push me through a standard set of actions. I suggest this place for anyone needing physical therapy and/or massage. Because I had to get scheduled in quickly I've gotten to work with several therapists, rather than waiting for one of their schedules to work twice weekly for me. Therefore I can already say that Colleen, Cora, Jay and Patty are all really helpful and dedicated to making a positive difference (apologies if I spelled any names wrong). I'm luckily covered on insurance but their out of pocket amounts seem reasonable compared to other places too which is good. A few friends suggested this place and I'm glad I decided to book several appointments right away here. I was starting to lose hope I'd be able to actually feel progress or have the possibility to ever fully heal but I'm hopeful again. It'll take real work but I'm willing and so are they. Funny how the body decides to stop working properly sometimes, but I'd say this place is the best place to fix that.

I am so happy with this place. I have been seeing several doctors about the pain in my knees, back…read moreand hands for over 6 months now, and can say without a reasonable doubt that Dr.Austin has been the greatest help to me by far. I started experiencing this pain over a year ago, and after many tests, doctors, specialists, and X-rays, they all did the same thing, prescriptions that were not helping and often with horrible side effects. I am a 28 year old student with a wife and an 8 month old, so being under the influence of prescriptions is not an option. Taking notes all day destroys my hands, I walk a lot at work, so my knees kill me by the end of the night, and lifting a child up and down all day destroys my back. Again, I am 28 and all of the doctors just keep telling me that I should not be experiencing this kind of thing at my age. I have been 4 times now and can honestly say that I have not felt this good in a year. I can not stop raving about how much I like this place to everyone of my friends. The Dr. Austin talked to me about my diet and eating habits, stress levels, vitamins and has got me on track to feeling better, with adjustments. I was at my last straw before I can here and was at first skeptical about what kind of improvements I might expect, but hands down, he has helped me extensively. I even cancelled my next appointment with a specialist down in Phx and have reduced my daily pain perspiration and have never felt better. Today I was able to run up the stairs at work, skipping steps, with my baby in my arms, when I could barley make it up them two months ago. My mobility has improved and so have my expectations of day to day life. Yes, after being adjusted, my back feels worn, but the next morning, I have never felt better. It is not a one time appointment, but a process toward healing. Gradually, my appointments have become more spread out and my back feels better for longer. I can't say the same about my hands and my knees, but my back is why I am going to him, and I could not be happier.
