The reason for me going to Flat Rock Park today was for tashlih, which is a Rosh Hashanah ceremony. During the ceremony you throw bread in water to symbolically cast away bad memories. This spot was absolutely great for tashlih! It was right on the water and there was even a little spot made where you can walk down to the water! Plenty of dogs were also at the park and were loving it! Most people here, were attending for the tashlih service, but there were a couple of other people here just at the park. From the looks of it, it appears that the park is usually nice and quiet! There is also a fairly short walking trail that is great to walk on. It is shaded by a variety of large trees, so it is very nice! Altogether, this is a beautiful park to walk around or relax at and just enjoy the nature!
