There are also plenty of picnic tables and benches. There is a basketball court which is often also used for kids to scooter around. My favorite thing about this park is the abundance of trees providing shade on hot days. This playground is more forgiving in the heat than most other playgrounds in the area.

There is a paved path that leads from Hathaway lane down to the park, onto the man bridge that crosses the creek. Often ducks can be spotted hanging out there which is another fun bonus. There is plenty to do here and everyone we've met here has been super friendly and accommodating. When the nice weather months are happening, there are two bathrooms with running water, a significant improvement over most parks with only port-a-potties.

There is a lot of large equipment, but not a whole lot of variety or imagination in the different interactive functions. Reeves Park's playground (Phoenixville), Smith Memorial Playground (Fairmount Park), Freedom Playground (Haverford), and Aston Twp's new playground all have really imaginitive stuff, and just as large of an expanse (if not larger). I also have to give props to the Reeves Park and Freedom playgrounds for being fenced in (Smith is, but it's so big, the fence is not as containing as it could be). Kids Dream is not fenced, unfortunately, because it is a layer of safety I always appreciate, for young kids who run, and also just to keep out wandering dogs (the ones on a long leash whose caretakers aren't paying attention) or to dissuade sketchy people from hanging around (sorry but they're everywhere). There is a nearby walking trail, and it's also adjacent to township offices (shared parking lot). I do have to comment that there was a bit of litter generally around, which is never okay for a kids' playground. Also, this playground is pretty crowded. Parents seemed adequately considerate, but honestly, all the abovementioned playgrounds had a better vibe to me. Maybe because this place was built up by my recommendation and the reviews, but it wasn't as great as my expectations (and comparative experiences).

Apparently, you can't play tennis on Sunday due to the Ashbridge Will. I'm not actually sure if the rule is enforced because the doors are not locked.! The courts themselves, are pretty nice. The lines are visible and there are little to no cracks on them. Though, there are only two courts. While none of the courts are shaded there is a shaded area right by the courts. In that area is picnic benches where kids and families have picnics and birthday parties. There is a pretty large playground with slides, monkey bars, a spider-web climbing structure and more! That must be fun for the kids! There is also two bathroom with water fountains. The water is solid and ice cold! There is also a large walking trail that goes around the park! Altogether, this is a great park to have fun at!

We were on our way into the city and met up with some friends for an impromptu play date. This park is really cool, with lots of modern play equipment for both younger tots and older kids. My 6 year old really enjoyed the "spider web." There is lots of parking and lots of space for the kids to play and it's right in the heart of the main line off of Montgomery Ave in Bryn Mawr. We'll definitely take the kids here again if we're in the area.

There are some picnic tables and park benches around in addition to a small pavilion with two picnic tables underneath. There is a water fountain, but it wasn't working during my most recent visit. Not sure if they simply turn off the water for the season and maybe they just haven't turned it back on yet. There are no restrooms around here. There is a little open grass space where you could toss a ball around or play frisbee. A lot of people don't seem to know this playground exists, so it's never been crowded anytime I've been there. My two year old has fun here but my seven year old gets bored here after a little while as there just isn't enough different things for him to do.
