The repeated tactic of desk staff attempting to pre-collect a fee well in excess of co-pay by claiming they could "see in insurance computer system that my deductible had not yet been met" is a smarmy tactic. One that undermines the professionalism one expects from an extablished practice. This in an of itself will dissuade me from returning.

They don't link to your app or send appointment reminders. They will schedule you for a 1 hour appointment but according to them, that starts "in the waiting room". They actually review your medical history and ask plenty of follow-up questions to better understand your condition--so they know exactly where to scan, what to focus on, and how to interpret the images as the scan progresses. My last visit with them lasted an hour--that's how much effort they put into understanding my complex medical history and conditions. If the ultrasound techs find anything concerning, they'll notify the doctor, who will come in and examine the scan with you on the spot. You'll receive your report right then and there, and it's always very accurate. I wouldn't go anywhere else for an ultrasound.

The door still had the regular sign, and the lab boxes in front- you'd think the last person to be in there would leave a note for the patients. This is the same place you can't make an appointment without paying up front. 8 hours later the manager from Brookline never emailed me as was promised.
