I paid $45 out of pocket for an A1C blood test. I prepared myself for a longer wait since I read negative online reviews about the location. 1:06PM - There was no one manning their desk up front. I checked in on the tablet and I was second on standby. It was an estimated time of 30-60 minutes if I wanted to wait. A scheduled patient is taken as I finish checking in. 1:16PM - Aforementioned patient leaves. 1:18PM - They take a patient on standby. 1:18PM - Another patient checks in. 1:19PM - Another patient checks in. 1:23PM - Standby patient leaves. 1:31PM - The newest patient asks how long we've been waiting. I had been waiting 25 minutes and the other patient said they had waited about 15 minutes. In the meantime they called me in. 1:44PM - I finish the blood draw. The first phlebotomist failed to draw any blood from my LEFT arm so she asked for help from another phlebotomist who was successful with my RIGHT arm on the first try - a miracle since I have invisible veins. I appreciate that the first phlebotomist did not try to poke me multiple times which can cause a lot of discomfort and bruising. There was no one manning the front desk/window the entire time I was there but the check-in tablet is quick easy to use. However, if you have any questions then you will need to wait between patients for someone to come out/open the door. The TV is on in the waiting room so it is not a quiet waiting room but the other patients kept to themselves. There were plenty of seats so it didn't feel crowded but there was only a max of 4 patients waiting when I was there mid-afternoon on a Thursday. There is no water in the waiting area so be sure to hydrate before your appointment for faster blood flow. For any tests that require putting bodily fluids into a cup they have a bathroom inside and it looked clean from my vantage point in the chair. Overall I waited 25 minutes to be seen despite being a walk-in. I would come back to this location again.

The online appointment scheduler is convenient, and I didn't wait too long in the waiting area before being called back for my appointment. However, the lab tech processing my information was inefficient, and I sat for nearly an HOUR listening to him and his supervisor argue back and forth over trivial stuff. After that, I was able to see a phlebotomist and get my bloodwork done. The phlebotomist was kind and good at her job, which kind of made up for whatever had happened before? Overall, really sucky experience and I wish there were other options I could recommend people.

This lab is great! Yes, 95% of the time it IS staffed by one person, so don't come here if you're…read morein a hurry (but then again, who would go to ANY lab for blood-work with a time constraint??). My wait times have varied from 0 minutes (I was the first of the day) to a little over an hour (when the waiting room is completely full), it all depends on when you go. I've been going to the same Quest for.. 2 years now about once a month to get my INR checked. And honestly, this place has made me a little spoiled. The woman that runs the lab, Nancy, is probably the nicest woman I've ever met. She greets me every time I walk through the door, loves to chat, and gets my vein EVERY time (my veins are tiny and if I go anywhere else they often miss multiple times.. sorry if that's TMI). She even deals with calling the Dr's if my standing order has expired. :D The other woman who is there when Nancy is out is also wicked nice (I think Joanne is her name). For people that don't know any better, you should treat your phlebotomist the same way you treat your stylist! At least that's what I do. You obviously won't be sitting in the chair as long.. but the feeling is the same. Joke around, chat it up, and give hugs if you're a regular! They will remember you, and trust me.. the whole experience is a LOT better if they like you (even if it's a one-time visit). To the person that reviewed this before, that was right about the same time that the building was going through major remodeling and yeah, things were a little hectic/out of place during that time. But trust me, she didn't like how crazy things were then either (you try not having an access to half your files, a working phone, etc)

I've never had a worse customer service experience in my life. Although the lady at front desk was…read morenice, the tech that drew my blood was incredibly belligerent, angry that she had to print the orders my physician had placed and berating me throughout the encounter.
