At 10:10 AM, I received a call from the medspa letting me know they have a 10-minute grace period and asked me to be there by 10:15. I arrived at 10:16, just one minute later, and was told the 10:30 AM client had arrived early and would be taken before me. There was no empathy, no eye contact, and no effort to make me feel welcomed or valued. When I asked, "So I'm being punished for being one minute late?" no one offered a real response. they do not even use numbing cream for the treatment. I left feeling completely dismissed and disrespected. I canceled my membership immediately and was charged a $45 cancellation fee due to a six-month minimum commitment. That might be in the policy, but considering how poorly the situation was handled, it felt very unfair. I understand the importance of punctuality, but the lack of professionalism and basic courtesy here was unacceptable. I will not be returning and do not recommend this place to anyone expecting respectful and compassionate care.

The room had harsh lights and hard, uncomfortable beds--zero relaxation there. Constant upselling ruined the vibe, plus loud music from another room the whole time. The tech was friendly, but it felt super clinical and business-like, not pampering at all. Maybe that's typical for med spas, but the $200 HydraFacial wasn't worth it for a fun experience. I wouldn't recommend it if you're after something indulgent.

As I got older, I was suffering more with sensitivity and razor bumps and I was looking for a more permanent solution than waxing. Went in for a consultation two weeks prior and Heather was very thorough and explained how the process works with the Diolaze laser and how many treatments you need, what you should do before and after, as well as which hair works better on etc. She was very professional and made me comfortable throughout the whole process. The cooling component with the laser made it almost completely pain-free in my opinion, and it was super fast last time than I expected. I think I was in and out within 35 minutes.I will be going back every 4 to 6 weeks for 6 to 8 treatments so far very happy with the process.

Upon checking in the morning, I declined to fill-out their bi-annual office questionnaire. After getting called back and to my surprise Dr. Goodman himself entered may private room and asked me to complete the office's questionnaire, I politely declined, explaining that I didn't believe it was medically necessary. Rather than respecting my choice, Dr. Goodman took offense, insisting that my refusal was disrespectful to him personally. I calmly reiterated that it was simply a questionnaire I preferred not to complete. He then raised his voice, repeatedly accusing me of being disrespectful and even stating, "I can make you do anything" since it was his practice. I remained polite throughout the encounter and still declined, but his rude behavior made me extremely uncomfortable--especially given that I was about to undergo a medical procedure with another doctor and assistant present in the room. What kind of a narcissist (doctor) cares more about his office survey getting completed than how his patients are feeling prior to having skin cancer removed? Hard pass on Marcus Goodman.

I got the…read morepurifying acne facial and my mom got the age defense facial (both $139 but with $20 off for first time visit). We had appointments at 6:50 pm but they asked us to move it up by 20 minutes (probably so they could head home early before the lone weekend). This worked out better for our schedule anyways. We came a little early and the door was locked, so you probably have to come on time. Once you're inside, you fill out a pretty lengthy form that asks you about medical history & preferences. Then you are brought to a waiting room. They give you robes to change into and lockers to put your stuff in. Once you are ready, they have tea and water in the waiting room. They took some time to come get us for the actual facials, so plan an extra half hour for your appointment. You are then taken to a private room for the actual facial. The facial itself was amazing (thank you lizzie!). They also include a light massage which I was struggling to not fall asleep from. My skin felt great after and it felt a lot smoother. Will plan to visit again next time I am in town.

I booked a sports massage. For background context: I'm fairly active and have had dozens of sports massages in the past so l knew what to expect .... Or so I thought? lol First off, she was running late. Ok no big deal. But when she came to call me, she made it known she was not in a mood. Even after asking how she was doing, she said "ehh". Ok awkward start. Whatever Then comes for the actual massage. Yall she was burping the entire time. And it was the softest pressure ever. As if someone was just rubbing lotion on my skin. Anyways, I told the front desk. And they did try to make it right so l appreciate that. And I won't disclose her name because l'd like to think she was just having a day and she's actually really good. Just my experience. But if you're a massage therapist and you're reading this, please just call off if you're having a "day".
