Upon checking in the morning, I declined to fill-out their bi-annual office questionnaire. After getting called back and to my surprise Dr. Goodman himself entered may private room and asked me to complete the office's questionnaire, I politely declined, explaining that I didn't believe it was medically necessary. Rather than respecting my choice, Dr. Goodman took offense, insisting that my refusal was disrespectful to him personally. I calmly reiterated that it was simply a questionnaire I preferred not to complete. He then raised his voice, repeatedly accusing me of being disrespectful and even stating, "I can make you do anything" since it was his practice. I remained polite throughout the encounter and still declined, but his rude behavior made me extremely uncomfortable--especially given that I was about to undergo a medical procedure with another doctor and assistant present in the room. What kind of a narcissist (doctor) cares more about his office survey getting completed than how his patients are feeling prior to having skin cancer removed? Hard pass on Marcus Goodman.

I wanted a second opinion so I went down the wormhole looking for the best hair doctors in Georgia and decided to get a second opinion from Anderson Center for Hair based on their reviews. When I met Dr. Wetzel and Dr. Longshore at their Peachtree office, I was very impressed by their ability to answer all of my questions and clarify some of my misunderstandings. They clarified my concerns for side effects of oral finasteride and got me started on oral finasteride and increased my dosage for oral minoxidil. Contrary to what the internet might have you think, only 5% of patients that take oral finasteride have ED side effects. They also seemed genuinely attuned and attentive to what I had to say. I felt cared for and that they weren't just trying to sell me something. Another selling point was the ability to do Exosome therapy and PRP on the day of my procedure. The aftercare was impressive as I got regular follow up calls and was able to text Dr. Wetzel with any questions/concerns to which I had many. They were very patient with me. One thing I recommend is asking for the postcare instructions in advance in case you are OCD like myself and eating food with the pain medication when they send you home. I can't recommend Anderson Center for Hair enough and I'm very happy I chose them.

The Anderson Clinic was highly regarded from online reviews and after a very transparent and personal virtual consultation with Matt at Anderson Clinic, it was clear who I needed to trust to help me find a solution for hair loss. Immediately (approx. one day) after letting Matt know I was choosing to move forward with a hair transplant (FUE), I received a personal phone call from Dr. Wetzel who was extremely knowledgeable and patient with all of the questions I had. Though FUE is a premium compared to an FUT procedure I truly felt FUE was the best long-term fit for me as I wanted minimal scarring given my history of enjoying a short haircut style. Day of operation came and some of the initial things Dr Wetzel will work with you to do pre-op is the before photographs of your hair, the shaving of your head to optimize him and his staff ability to extract follicles, and then the designing or outline of your desired hairline which is carefully crafted to be natural. Day of procedure I was in office for 8 hours approximately for a Medium hair restoration procedure (2200-2300 grafts). The next morning, I woke up and went back to the office for complimentary hair wash and red-light treatment - a fantastic decision if you have the time to do this. The hair follicles are very fragile in the first 48-72 hours, so those next few days are crucial for following the discharge instructions.
