I remember being unsure if I could find an acupuncturist willing to treat an active cancer patient. Luckily, I did! From my initial consultation, Dr. Tsai has been incredibly empathetic to my situation and very reassuring. She took the time to understand my complex health challenges and created a treatment plan specifically for me. She has helped treat and heal me as I have gone through a mastectomy, radiation, and now in my remission phase. Dr. Tsai has helped me with so many of my symptoms/issues because of my cancer diagnosis and other issues I have been dealing with for years. She has always been honest with me and set realistic expectations, which I have really appreciated. Here are some examples of the symptoms/issues that Dr. Tsai has helped heal/alleviate: fatigue and lack of energy, nausea, acute and chronic pain, depression, sciatica pain, lymphoma arm pain, digestive issues, insomnia, and other side effects I experience due to cancer medications I now take. Dr. Tsai genuinely cares about her patients' well-being. Not only has she alleviated most of my symptoms but has also encouraged and empowered me to take charge of my wellness journey. If you are seeking relief beyond traditional medicine, I highly recommend Dr. Tsai at Lotus Wellness Center. It's been life-changing for me, and I'm grateful to have found such skilled and compassionate practitioner! *** I did not know that my medical insurance (Aetna) covered acupuncture treatments, or I would have come to be treated by Dr. Tsai a lot sooner! . Everyone, including Veterans, should take the time check to see if their insurance covers acupuncture treatments!

I'm a returning patient and never had issues with this PT facility until today. I had to fly to…read moreEurope due to a family emergency on the 7th and scheduled my flight last minute on the 6th. I called to reschedule my appointment from the 7th and the appointments that I had scheduled the following week for the week of the 18th and the 25th every Tuesday and Thursday. Fast forward I had to reschedule my flight from the 17th to the 19th of December due to the same family emergency and completely forgot to call on Monday to reschedule my appointment on the 19th. I admit it was the last thing on my mind and only remembered mid flight on Tuesday. Today I was running late for my appointment but on my way when I realized I was not going to make it by 8.15. I called at 8.09 saying that I was running late but most likely not going to make it in 4 minutes. I was more than happy to forgo the 15/20 mts that I was late if they would still have me or I could come in later. No one picked up and I left a voice mail message. Get a message a couple of minutes later saying all my appointments were cancelled and had to call on the day for Availability. I called again and explained that I just tried to call to let them know I was running late but on my way and that I left a voicemail message and I was faced with a rude front of house staff that insinuated that he was there all morning and didn't get any phone call or voice mail message and proceeded to tell me I had a cancellation on the 7th (I rescheduled didn't cancel) and a no show on the 19th and today that's why all appointments were canceled and proceeded to give me attitude when I tried to explain what the situation was, which only left me more aggravated and frustrated than I already was. My deductible has been met this year and all my appointments are fully covered so I was trying to do my best to still make it to my appointments since next year I will have to pay for these sessions . The arrogance and attitude that I got this morning made me want to forgo all my appointments. I will find another clinic next year, for my PT and will gladly pay. Bare in mind that I'm a returning patient that has been to the clinic before without any issues. This is not a reflection on my therapist that was wonderful but a sad consequence of a misunderstanding and how poor customer service impacts patients.

I tried acupuncture for the first time with Henry after being diagnosed with traumatic Bell's Palsy…read morefollowing an automobile collision. After three months with no improvement--and after trying everything from YouTube massages and facial exercises to multiple visits with neurologists who told me to simply "wait and heal". I was desperate for progress. Skeptical but hopeful, I turned to acupuncture. During my initial consultation, Henry took the time to explain his treatment plan in detail, including his experience treating other patients with Bell's Palsy. His confidence and knowledge gave me the reassurance I needed, and I committed to a 10-session plan. While I didn't notice major changes in the first few sessions, my family began to see subtle improvements after the third. Personally, I began noticing real progress around the fifth session. By the end of my first 10 sessions about five weeks in--I'd say I was roughly 50% recovered. Encouraged by the results, I signed up for another 10 sessions. Today, I completed my 20th session, and I'm thrilled to say I'm about 80% recovered. At this point, only I can tell that I ever had Bell's Palsy. I can't speak highly enough of Henry and his team. They are professional, compassionate, flexible with scheduling, and truly attentive to individual needs. Henry not only focused on my Bell's Palsy but also addressed other injuries I sustained in the accident. The environment he's created is calm and restorative. I often used the sessions as a chance to take much-needed afternoon naps. Acupuncture with Henry has been a transformative part of my recovery journey. I'm beyond grateful.

Initially, there were no appointments remaining for the week. However, I really needed my son to be seen, prior to the start of school next week. She was able to squeeze me in for an early morning appointment the next day. There was no long wait to see Dr. Alabi, and once he came into the room, immediately, I knew he was the right podiatrist. He was relatable, knowledgeable, professional, and made my son and I feel comfortable and accommodated. We went in for one ingrown, but discovered my son had two. Dr. Alabi took care of both with swiftness and intentional care. The service was efficient, my son and I were pleased, and Dr. Alabi explained everything beautifully to my son. Here's the deal: God knew exactly the type of doctor I needed to service my son and I'm convinced he guided me to Dr. Alabi's office, via a Google search for podiatrists in the area! I read the reviews, prayed, and said, "He's the one!" If ever my husband, kids, family members (or anyone for that matter; including strangers!) need a podiatrist, without hesitation, Dr. Alabi will be the recommendation!
