It's probably gone through a few renovations. There's lots of pool tables. Apparently this is a popular place to play it. They have tournaments. It's about $6 for a basic cocktail. Whiskey or whatever mixed with a pop. Bathrooms are actually modern and clean. These were a pleasant surprise because we were expecting something cramped and smelly. Good local bar. We seated ourselves and even let the bartender know we were there, then waited about 10 minutes before anyone bothered to come over. We ordered two beers and two pizzas. We had enough time to finish both beers while watching our waitress and the bartender stand around talking at the bar. The bartender even had time to drink a White Claw, but apparently nobody had time to make sure our food was coming. Eventually, our waitress told us the pizzas were done but "weren't crispy enough," so they were put back in the oven. After already waiting so long, that excuse was hard to believe. Another 15 minutes passed with no pizzas, no updates, and no apology. We finally paid for our beers and left hungry. The most shocking part is that there are very few places like this on Aurora's west side. You would think a neighborhood bar with so little competition would value every customer who walks through the door. Instead, we were treated like an inconvenience. If this is how they handle a nearly empty bar, I'd hate to see what happens when they're actually busy. Save yourself the frustration and spend your money somewhere that acts like it wants customers.

We choose Rambos. Now i have passed this place once while visiting over Thanksgiving Break. When i walked into Rambo's I felt the comfort and welcome everyone shared. The entire room knew each other, which is always a good feeling. There was about seven in our group at first, but as soon as people saw who was in my group, the bigger our group got. By the end of the night there was about 15 in all. We had ordered three types of apps, Mozz Sticks, Mini tacos, and stuffed cheesy potatoes. All of these we served all on time, however i wish they would have given us more in each basket. We then ordered three pizzas, One pepperoni, a veggie pizza and a cheeseburger pizza. Now the pepperoni and the veggie pizza was a hit, however, the Cheeseburger pizza, while sounds appetizing, tasted different from what one would expect. You did taste the cheeseburger, but there was some sweet element to the sauce, which didnt go well with our group. The staff there was very fun and friendly, our server who i believe her name was Becky or Beth, gave the ladies we were with free shots of a blue drink what i think was called " dirty squirrel fucker?" A lot of beers in bottles and cans. It's about $5 to get the cheapest cocktails like well whiskey. Food menu is pretty basic. Mostly it's typical fried stuff. It's about $9 to get the Pretzel Bites. These come with a choice of cheese or marinara. Seems as if the sauce is the best part of it. There's also tacos. Got to say if you like pool you should check it out and see the chaos.
