Both Katrina and Eunice were a pleasure to work with. Once we approved the written quote, we were able to schedule them for a weekend treatment, which most other companies were not able to accommodate. They always emailed quotes, receipts and instructions promptly, and provided a certificate or insurance for our building to approve. I've never worked with a company that was so professional and on top of the paperwork. I love the calendar invites that make sure we're on the same page. On the day of, they called to let us know a more specific time for when the technician would be arriving during the 3 hour window, and they kept us informed when he was running late so we were always kept in the loop. The technician, Tony, was very transparent and informative about their treatment process and put us at ease. I also wanted to note that their instructions included pictures that were very helpful and made them easier to follow. Other companies' documents were confusing and hard to understand. We also appreciated that they had tools that could go behind the outlet covers, which is safer because it prevents the dust from coming out. Every other company needed us to remove the outlet covers ourselves as part of preparation. Overall, this has been a great experience so far. I'll post another review in a few weeks after the follow up treatment!

After seeing evidence of a rat, and meeting the large guy in my basement, I tried to resolve the…read moreissue myself. I found a crack in a roof drain pipe near the main sewer outlet to the street. Sealed the likely entrance, built trap boxes ( YouTube... ) and used various baits. Rats are extremely smart and fast. He'd get the food but not caught. After a a few weeks I gave in and searched for an exterinator. The reviews about Joe prompted me to get in touch. The reviews describe him perfectly ! He came the next day. We spent almost 2 hours going around the house inspecting for evidence of entry points, nests, activity as well as getting to know each other. He is truly a nice guy who knows his craft ! Joe seemed impressed by my approach. Thought, based on what he saw, that there might only be the one and didn't see any obvious additional enrty points. He suggested a few new baits and traps and we decided to stay in touch before moving to poison. He refused payment for his time and advice. He promptly replied to my status texts over the next few days. Nobody caught, no success... until I got him ! Sent Joe pictures. Recieved a congratulations reply ! Now going to keep monitoring for a few weeks, traps set. Maybe my problem is solved. Fingers crossed my visitor didn't have friends and family. Luis picked up the phone early in the morning, had me send a photo of my bites to him, confirmed that they were most likely bb's and had Danny come that morning to confirm. Danny is very thorough and clear with advice and options, all while keeping you calm. Having been through this before, I decided to treat rather than wait. In keeping up with the times, they have added an additional treatment along with Aprehend to make the extermination even more effective. The matter was taken care of in a few hours, and I am so grateful. With the method they use I didn't have to put all my clothes in bags and only had to do my dirty laundry, which alleviates some of the stress from the situation. While I heartily wish I don't see them for a good long while (if ever lol), I can't recommend this company, Danny, Luis and Liz enough.

After reading other 5-star reviews for Northeastern Exterminating, I decided to give them a call, and I'm glad I did. I explained my issue to Joe, who worked to calm my nerves about this situation and thoroughly explained everything that would occur with his company's home inspection, to be performed by his son, James. I wanted an appointment ASAP, and although Joe could only offer me an appointment for several days later, he assured me that he would keep my number at the ready just in case they had a cancellation. The night before my inspection, I received a text message from James confirming the time he would arrive, the price that was agreed upon, and simple instructions for how to prep for the inspection. The next morning, I received another text about an hour before the scheduled time to pinpoint the exact time he would be arriving - which is insanely helpful and courteous. Upon arrival, right on time, James asked me about my situation and immediately got to work performing a thorough and comprehensive inspection of the three bedrooms in my house, from floor to ceiling. The bed, box springs, bed frames, baseboards, etc. everything was carefully inspected while he explained what he was doing, what he was looking for, and even what I could do in the future to put my mind at ease. He made sure to look at everything I asked him to, and could not have been more easygoing and professional. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. Prompt, affordable, knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. On top of that, they are a family-run business, which is always a good thing. Give them a call and you will not be disappointed.

Robert, the technician, came out to my place twice, once for the initial treatment and again for a follow-up. After the follow-up, the activity had gone down so much, more than I expected. Additionally, Robert provided great tips for prevention, was pleasant to talk with, and made a stressful situation much easier to go through. Let's cut straight to the story, shall we? I had a rodent problem due to the negligence of a tenant living a real life episode of hoarders with disgusting and filthy conditions (prompting the landlord to immediately process an eviction). Upon explaining to Eddie in great detail of the situation, I gave him the number to make an appointment direct with the tenant. Not ONCE but TWICE the tenant stood him up on both appointments travelling from the Bronx. At this stage, most exterminators would be truly annoyed traveling to the destination to perform a job only to get cancelled/stood up from the tenant/customer, wasting their valuable time and losing revenue! Eddie didn't charge me any appointment cancellation fee. He was patient and understood my very difficult and frustrating situation. Eddie assured me when the eviction is complete, he will come and perform his duties once I have full control of the apartment. Once the city marshall gave possession of the apartment, he came and performed the job the following week. Eddie reassured me that he will come again to inspect the entire property to make sure the situation was fully resolved, giving additional assurance and peace of mind. On a closing note, his pricing is very fair and wasn't charged for the revisit to make sure the job was fully completed. I am very please with the services and now have a go-to exterminator for my needs ^_^

Clean as clean can be. "Oh, We had bedbugs" Travel a lot?..Hi Risk...Movie theatre, school..Cna get them from ANYWHERE!!! The doctor: "TRAUMATIC....Absolutely the worst thing, outside of bad health, we EVER WENT THROUGH" First we called the clowns on TV "WITH THE DOGGY".. .1/2 hour, $3500.00+ $$$ as a quote !!!! threw a contract in my face.."Uh, I am not signing anything. We'll call you if we want your service" Next up, our local exterminator. Cheapest price, nice guy, worked with him before. All clothes went into HI HEAT DRYER....Then all 35 bags (35 in garbage,) YAY bedbugs, we FINALLY did a spring cleaning, went on our terrace...Our life was on our terrace... Caesar and his assistant went to work..."Minefields" were put in place Freezing/& natural sprays used We lived like this for 2 weeks..Couch TOO INFESTED...In the GARBAGE!!! After 2 weeks, Caesar and his assistant came back to lay more minefields.. "You are their food. They only want your blood,. That's why they don't hang in the kitchen or bathroom...They like where you sleep and hang out the most. Bedroom, living room. To get their food (you!) they now have to go through my minefields." After 2 weeks, EVERYTHING in the 35 bags, went back in the house....4 people 2 more days of work....u have 48 hours, so if any are alive, they are most likely gonna die, on their way to you Guess what? Caesar was closer to 100% right, than he was 99%....a month later, and we have only seen 3 DEAD bedbugs..All in the first week... Ordered a NEW COUCH Must have texted Caesar 50 times, called 10....Available!!!, gets back as soon as he possibly can. He would have come a third time if need be to do more work Price: In between the cheap guy who didn't seem to know much, and the TV star for a million dollars (Where's the cute doggy?) First, I want to apologize to Cesar because this review is way, way overdue. It's been a little…read moreover a year since the bedbug nightmare first began. My husband and I were getting bitten but had no idea what was doing the biting. I was allergic to the bites and the nurse practitioner in my doctor's office assured me that it was not bedbugs. "It's not the right bite pattern" she said. WRONG. I finally saw one of the little buggers on a dust cloth and called a friend who had had the problem several years ago. She directed me to Cesar and I'll be forever in her debt! Cesar talked to me on the phone for quite some time, told me what to look for, his prices and procedures. Then he came in and did a complete inspection. Instantly I felt we were in good hands. He was knowledgeable, efficient and thorough. Explained exactly what we had to do and why. We explained that, now that we knew what and where the problem was, we had to go through our landlord. The landlord insisted on using his own exterminator who came in with ineffective product, mishandled the mattress and completely botched the job making a bad situation worse. Enter Cesar. He came back immediately. He told us how to pack things up and all the steps we had to take including detailed instructions on how to heat our clothes to the right temperature in the Bugzapper, checking books, old furniture, closets, etc. AND he told us what not to do. I was about at the end of my rope. He was patient and reassuring and answered all calls and texts. If he was so great, then why is this review so late, you ask? I think it's taken me this long to believe that we no longer have the problem. Honestly, I don't think I've been bitten since a week or two after the treatments. But every little bump I found was attributed to a bedbug. I truly hate crawly things. Bottom line: Cesar offered awesome service. He knows his stuff backwards and forwards. I felt that for the few weeks we dealt with him he made us family members. I couldn't have asked for more. I would call him again in a heartbeat but hope I never have to. And, yes, I hate even mentioning that I had bedbugs. But it's better to deal problem properly and give your community a chance to do the same than to pretend that nothing ever happened. THANKS Cesar!
