We are a small preschool in the Bronx with a large garden and wild area. There was a mama possum, likely dead and MANY babies crawling all over her. Apparently there is no longer an Animal Control through NYC. I made several calls and could only leave messages, but Joseph answered the phone and was here within 30 minutes. We are very satisfied with the service we received from Nuisance Solutions to get rid of squirrels in our portico and starlings from a top floor bathroom vent. I don't know where to begin. Mainly because I would have never thought I'd need someone to help remove squirrels from my house. All these years, and now they have become a problem. My tenant had passively mentioned there were squirrels running across his skylight in the bathroom. I Didn't really take it seriously until I realized they were in the crawlspace in our house. I panicked, called Wildlife Mgmt Pros and was told they don't service the Bronx, and when asked for recommendations they told me to "Google!" Really? Well, glad I thought of THAT!!! Because it led me to Joe. I called him on a Wednesday evening and he showed up on Saturday morning. We gave him the rundown, he did a site assessment and discovered a hole in the eave of our roof. He immediately went into action. He secured a live trap on our eave along with other traps in the crawl space and roof. He then proceeded to check in daily for updates. During one of the updates I expressed that there were more squirrels around my house than normal. It was like they knew what we were up to. Joe then returns and puts several live traps around my yard and within 2 hours, two squirrels fell for the "peanuts" and were trapped. He was able to trap 4 in our yard and 3 on the roof/crawl space. Joe continued to check in until he felt that the squirrels were out, at which time he returned removed the traps and blocked the opening with wire until we can get it properly fixed. His demeanor is amazing and he KNOWS HIS STUFF. I enjoyed chatting with him during his visits. And kinda miss him. He really cares about his clients and his only goal is to give you peace of mind. 30 minutes ago We had a strang occurrence. Woke up to a bat in our bedroom, in a coop apartment which we own in Forest Hills. Bat was discovered at 3am. We woke up to something flapping loudly in the bedroom. Scared the heck out of us. My wife and I ran out of the room and shut the door. After sunrise, we searched high and low for the bat but it was gone! (so we thought). I called around to dozens of "pest / wildlife removal service" companies. So many shady people out there who I had to filter through. Several companies were unlicensed but said they could help catch the bat without a problem. No thanks to them. I kept searching and finally found Joe at Nuisance Solutions. He explained the rabies risk with bats and the need to consult with the Dept. of Health. He contacted them to report the case and then made himself available rather quickly to come help me out. On arrival, I sort of jokingly questioned Joe as to how he can find the bat if I already looked everywhere. Joe looked at me with a sense of confident and said "I will find that bat." Well, less than 10 minutes in our bedroom and Joe starts shouting that he got him! Bat was found and caught. I don't know how he did it but he truly saved our day. He personally took the bat to the Dept of Health where it is now undergoing testing to screen for rabies. We still don't know how the bat entered our one bedroom apartment as we never open windows or leave the door open but at least he is gone. Joe was really our hero of the day. I have been going out of my mind with squirrels running back and forth in my ceiling for a couple of months. I called a reputable pest company and they were supposed to get them out and all the ended up doing was allowing the squirrels to wreak havoc and break my other wall in and go into the other room ceiling. thank goodness I found nuisance solutions. Joe was able to remove three baby Raccoons from the lip of our roof after the mother was captured in our area. He came out the same day I called. They tried to get another mother to take the babies and unfortunately she did not. He was able to find a sanctuary that would take them which was great. read more

We would hired him again in a heartbeat, We had a raccoon hanging out in a tree by our terrace and Joseph came to access the situation before we hired him, set up 3 traps the first night (catching a skunk) and 5 traps the next night (catching 2 skunks and 2 raccoons) and we haven't had any more raccoon sitings. My fiancé and I had a mama squirrel chew her way into our soffits under the eves of the roof, and give birth to a bundle of squirrels about three weeks ago. We got Joe's contact through a trusted neighborhood friend and invited Joe to come and evaluate the situation. We weren't sure what we had on our hands at first, so Joe set up traps around the house and caught the mama squirrel first. He then helped us get all the young squirrels out from where they were. Joe went above and beyond to get the job done. This was no typical job, he got all six young squirrels out either by trapping them or catching them personally! By catching we mean on top of a 12 foot ladder and trying to grab them with his bare hands. He came back to the house many times to help finish the job and literally did whatever was necessary to ensure that this job was completed. Joe was very personable, reasonable and reassuring that he would help us when we felt like we were never going to catch them all. At times it felt like the squirrels would never stop multiplying but Joe's knowledge and expertise was just what we needed and we are glad we had Joe help us take care of the situation. I highly recommend him, so stop losing sleep over these rodents that sound like they are invading your home at night and call Joe ASAP!!!
