After resetting the furnace 3 times and changing the batteries in my thermostat, I had no choice but to call for an emergency service call. I called my furnace repair service that I'd used for 6 years. After explaining I had no heat, the on-call representative gave me the 3rd degree...Are you a customer? What brand? How old is the furnace? Who installed it? Then he told me he'd call me back. 20 minutes later he called to inform me that all their techs were out of town. My options were to wait a day or two for an available tech or call another company. It was minus 20 degrees Celsius!!! My house was sitting at 11 degrees!! I called David Murray and explained my dilemma. Brad at David Murray said he'd be very happy to help me out and would appreciate my business. Ted was on site shortly thereafter and had my house warm and toasty in no time and the cost was more than reasonable. AWESOME! We had…read morehad someone else install it ( big mistake) and had them come back only to tell us that there was something wrong with our air conditioner not the installation. That's when we called Tom's heating and cooling and had Tom himself come in and take a look at it. We were thinking we were in for having to get a buy a new air conditioner. So we were really pleased when he said that all he thought it was is a faulty thermostat and to take it back and get a new one. He was right, got the new one in and the air conditioner turned right on. Tom saved us a lot of time and money I would highly recommend Tom's heating and cooling.

Poor Service and more. I had a service agreement…read more Comfort Zone's technician diagnosed fumes from my fireplace and he said the fireplace needed a new part. Fine, so far. Comfort Zone ordered the part and it took months to arrive -- ok, supply chain issues, I thought. Another of their technicians came but couldn't install it because he said the glass would break. Then, Comfort Zone didn't contact me at all. I had to go to their location and demand service. They sent who they called "their best technician at no cost to me". He said the perimeter was a little bent and adjusted it within a few minutes and left without checking the air quality. By this time, my fireplace had been shut down for the whole winter. This month, in preparation for this winter, I got another company in to check the fireplace and the fumes, which are a health hazard, are still there!! That's the worst part! The new company has ordered a new glass for me, which I am paying for, in full. Thank goodness for them. That was my service experience, on a service agreement.

Quinte Air Supply came highly recommended to me by my son-in-law…read more So, I already had high hopes that I would have a good experience with the company (as my old furnace needed replacing) and I was NOT disappointed. I was advised by my insurer to consider purchasing a Lennox product and it was good advice. But I was not prepared for the incredible experience of dealing with Linda and Kevin DeMille. From the day they walked into my home until the day the job was completed, they were nothing but friendly, knowledgeable and professional. And they explained everything. Every step of the way I knew what was happening and why. I actually feel educated, and not in a sales person kind of way. I truly feel that I understand so much more about home heating and cooling. Now that my system has been installed for a few months I can say that it is beyond compare. I had a month or so of using the AC and it was incredibly effective. I could turn it on, knowing that in just a few minutes I would start feeling the effects from it. The same is true for the furnace. I don't know how else to explain it except to say that when I turn on the heat, within literally two or three minutes I feel like somebody is wrapping a warm blanket around me. I can't even hear when the furnace is turning on ... it is whisper quiet. I switched from oil to propane for my new AC/furnace and this part of the installation was also perfect. The oil tank was removed and the new propane tanks were installed in a perfect location. So, if I could offer stars for a job well done and 10 stars was the pinnacle, I'd offer 11. My entire experience was over the top perfection.
