After resetting the furnace 3 times and changing the batteries in my thermostat, I had no choice but to call for an emergency service call. I called my furnace repair service that I'd used for 6 years. After explaining I had no heat, the on-call representative gave me the 3rd degree...Are you a customer? What brand? How old is the furnace? Who installed it? Then he told me he'd call me back. 20 minutes later he called to inform me that all their techs were out of town. My options were to wait a day or two for an available tech or call another company. It was minus 20 degrees Celsius!!! My house was sitting at 11 degrees!!
