I was down to 12 Degrees C. in the house after 24 hours of no power. Mike came out Christmas Eve!! - in the middle of the winter storm!!! Cheerful and professional like last time. I am embarrassed to tell you how little he charged me - considering he had to drive to Cobourg from Port Hope. On a Saturday. On Christmas Eve. I wouldn't even think about calling someone else to look after my heating and AC systems. I can recommend them with complete confidence.

Poor Service and more. I had a service agreement…read more Comfort Zone's technician diagnosed fumes from my fireplace and he said the fireplace needed a new part. Fine, so far. Comfort Zone ordered the part and it took months to arrive -- ok, supply chain issues, I thought. Another of their technicians came but couldn't install it because he said the glass would break. Then, Comfort Zone didn't contact me at all. I had to go to their location and demand service. They sent who they called "their best technician at no cost to me". He said the perimeter was a little bent and adjusted it within a few minutes and left without checking the air quality. By this time, my fireplace had been shut down for the whole winter. This month, in preparation for this winter, I got another company in to check the fireplace and the fumes, which are a health hazard, are still there!! That's the worst part! The new company has ordered a new glass for me, which I am paying for, in full. Thank goodness for them. That was my service experience, on a service agreement.

We had…read morehad someone else install it ( big mistake) and had them come back only to tell us that there was something wrong with our air conditioner not the installation. That's when we called Tom's heating and cooling and had Tom himself come in and take a look at it. We were thinking we were in for having to get a buy a new air conditioner. So we were really pleased when he said that all he thought it was is a faulty thermostat and to take it back and get a new one. He was right, got the new one in and the air conditioner turned right on. Tom saved us a lot of time and money I would highly recommend Tom's heating and cooling.

There was a power shutdown that was supposed to…read morelast only a couple of hours, but it ended up going on all day, which caused me to miss out on a job opportunity While I was yelling at my landlord for not properly informing me the owner of this company approached me from behind and began mocking my job, which was completely unprofessional so I told him to get out of my parking spot which upset him and some words were exchanged between the both of us Shortly after, I overheard him speaking with my landlords and saying he would be willing to falsely claim that I had attacked or threatened him in order to help them eliminate my tenancy if they wanted. Concerned, I went outside and confronted them, letting them know I could hear what was being said. At that point, he called the police and told me "hows your probation officer going to like that"which is completely unfounded and have i never been in trouble with the law. He did end up calling the police, but when they arrived, it was clear there was no issue, and the situation had been unnecessarily escalated Overall, I found this behavior highly unprofessional and concerning. I would strongly caution others based on this experience.

He reframed the doorway and we had a new door put in. He took our old chimney down too! He is wonderful, hard working and showed up everyday. We had an issue with water coming into our basement because of the new build next door. He took pictures and videos on a rainy day so we had proof of the water entering our basement. He is very hard working and it's obvious he is very dedicated to doing a great job. Which he did. He explains everything he is going to do and shows you the progress along the way. Chris is the definition of all talk no walk…read more Completed a renovation on our house just prior to us buying the house. Left all the garbage/old doors/vanities/flooring in the garage. Politely asked 6 times over the course of 6 weeks for him to remove the old stuff and was promised each time they would come and remove it that week. Finally told Chris I'll just rent a truck and take it all to the dump myself. No response. Do yourself and me a favour and go elsewhere. Once he's paid he won't care.
