I've been a loyal customer for years, but simply can't continue to pay their insanely high prices. $24.60 for a single UnTuckit cotton shirt. Many other examples of price gouging as well. I've noticed that the store only had about 15-20% of their racks with customer laundry on them. Used to always be full. Apparently others have had the same experience that I've and have chosen to go elsewhere. I'll be doing just that. read more

One star only for the friendly employee up front. Terrible value here.... Dropped off 2 shirts with light starch on a hanger and a jacket.....$56 US Dollars was the total. Pricing is Captain Insano...... Go elsewhere read more

Been going to this place for years. Just picked up 16 shirts. Over $350!!! I've brought in much more than that in the past for the same or less. Prices have gone out of control. Average at over $20 per shirt!? What is happening here? read more

Excellent service. Very accommodating people working there. Sophie is excellent. She is fast, friendly and always remembers peoples names and usually sees me park and has my pick up items ready when I walk in the door. Could not be better service anywhere. Judy and Bob Witherell read more

I've been a customer here for 4 years. No longer. Just picked up a short dress, polyester, nothing fancy. $47. It was listed as a formal dress on the receipt. I said it's not formal like a cocktail dress. The employee apologized, but said all dresses are considered formal and are higher price. This is a rip off. read more

Insane prices for alterations! I paid $87.00 for 2 buttonholes on a denim strap and 2 holes in a seam on a pair of leggings. When I got them home the holes in the leggings were not fixed so I had to take them back. Still don't have the leggings back. read more

Sophie at the front desk is always so friendly and helpful. I also really appreciate the speed with which we get our cleaned clothes returned to us. Very happy with our experience here! read more

Has become ridiculously expensive. Quick service but no longer worth the price, switched to a green cleaner nearby, close to half the price and better product. read more

$57 for 3 shirts that came back average at best. Nice kid at the counter seemed embarrassed to give me the price, said the owners cared more about charging as much as possible than quality work/service. Which is obvious! Do not recommend. read more

I left the blue bag and told them I wouldn't be back. Prices are ridiculous. When I ask if my bill was correct because it was really high for just a few shirts and a pair of slacks, the guys says, well we're an upscale cleaner. Really dude, keep my bag, you just lost my business. No, I don't recommend this business. read more

Great service; anyone at front desk has done a great job- Sophie has been the most recent front desk

Keep away from this place, they grossly overcharge! I dropped off four button down dress shirts for cleaning, when I returned to pick them up I was told the charge was $53...for FOUR SHIRTS! I had to stop and do a double take, the clerk explained that any time they receive name brand shirts (mine were Tommy Bahama), they automatically do a special type of dry cleaning that costs around $13 a shirt. They do not disclaim this when you drop the shirt off, it's not displayed, and they do not call the customer to verify if the customer agrees to the change and up-charge. When I balked the clerk told me I could come back the next morning and speak with the manager, which I did. Next morning the manager explains the same thing to me and offers a 20% off coupon, that was all. I ended up paying around $40 for four shirts. Never again will I bring anything here, that is absolutely unacceptable customer service. The clerk and manager were very polite and professional, that doesn't make up for atrocious policies, price gouging, and not contacting the customer prior to changing the service when they know the price difference is significant. I attached my receipt for proof. read more

Dependable Cleaners - $53 for FOUR SHIRTS! - Laundry Services Near Me - Highlands Ranch, Colorado

Have had cleaning done here for years. Great service and cleaning always done with quality! Sophie is very helpful!

They charge me $50 for one pair of pants and a suit. What a rip off they did a terrible job. I hope they get shut down.

On Tuesday, May 6, 2014, I dropped off two Canali dress shirts at Dependable Cleaners' Highlands Ranch location. That morning, I indicated that the shirts needed to be dry cleaned. When I went to pick up the shirts, the receipt showed that instead of being dry cleaned, they were laundered. Both shirts shrunk, and one had a rip in the front next to a button that was not there prior to dropping it off. Canali shirts are not cheap shirts and need to be handled delicately, which Dependable Cleaners did NOT do. I included a photo of the two receipts in the photo gallery, with highlights indicating they were dropped off as dry cleaning and then received as laundered. When I explained my frustration, instead of apologizing for the incident, the clerk said "well, we can wash them again for you". Why would I have anyone who just shrunk and tore two $300 shirts wash them again? I grabbed the shirts, but as I began to walk out, the clerk said "I can't let you leave without paying for the shirts." This store is utterly unprofessional and cannot get a simple instruction accurate. Save your money and your sanity and do not have your clothes handled by Dependable Cleaners. They would be more honest if they added "Un" to the front of their name. read more

I really wish they were better. They're so close that the convenience factor won out for a long time before I realized how much I was overpaying. Now we drive out of our way to go to another cleaners and we pay 1/3 of what Dependable is charging. Seriously. We compared. We were paying triple the amount at Dependable when we can drive a mile down HR Parkway for the same service. I really wish they'd either lower their pricing or close so we can get a good drycleaner in this shopping center! read more

Way too costly....way better cheaper options in Highlands Ranch

Go somewhere else ! The manager and staff can't even call you back when it took over 20 days trying to find out where your stuff is. Help wanted sign in window really means they need a different kind of help! Staff is rude and lack customer service! read more

-10! I asked if they do laundry as well as dry clean because I brought in a bed comforter. I was Given a Quote I didn't even ask for of $28 and I gave the go ahead. I could have washed this and wished I had because these crooks charged me $51.88!?!?!? Then My simple dress? $38.74 they called it long...it's knee length! My total bill was over $90 for two items and It took 2 weeks too! Did I mention they had given me a $9.54 coupon because I was a first (and LAST) time customer or it would have been nearly $10 higher?!? I was upset and wouldn't sign the credit card receipt. The gal told me I could call the manager. The manager did call me and agreed to refund and only charge me $45. I was much happier with that price but still find it expensive. GUESS WHAT.....No refund has shown up on my card as promised and it's been over 2 weeks! NEVER EVER EVER GO HERE! Complete rip off! read more

After reading the other reviews, I would guess that I saw Nicole Havens, the manager, on my drop off on an early Saturday morning. I have been going here for many years and have never had a complaint. This Saturday morning, I received a bit of a rude welcome with the woman snapping at me and barely looking up from what she was doing. When I went to pick up my shirts that afternoon they were $7/shirt. Usually they are $3/shirt. I guess somehow they got put in as "dry clean" instead of just "launder" which has been my normal setting listed in the system for the last 10 years. I called to complain, leaving a message for the manager, with no return call. I'm not sure if this place understands what customer service is - and oh, by the way, that is all a dry cleaner is. They don't launder/dry clean your shirts, they send them out to a third party to do the "dirty" work. All they do is receive laundry and distribute laundry - THAT IS ALL YOU DO IS CUSTOMER SERVICES! And you suck at it. Sad, they are less than 1/2 mile from my house and I won't go to them any longer. read more

As there is no way to give negative stars... Dropped off my work shirts to be laundered and pressed. About half long sleeves and half short sleeves. My directions were to: launder them all normally even though there are two Hawaiian shirts they are not dry clean only type. The cost at pick up time for 13 shirts = $72 Most places near us are around $2 a shirt, they are double that. read more

Despite being priced high we still occasionally used them because of their convenience. However, after today never again, saw we had a charge from them today that was not us. We called to dispute it and to let them know it wasn't us. Basically the gal there said she'd call her manager but she could do nothing about it. Then even called us back to say the manager couldn't do anything yet and will have to speak to their supervisor and that they'd call us tomorrow possibly. Either they are liars or the other customer is. Either way my credit card is now canceled and has been reported as fraud plus they've lost another customer. read more

Well, clothes were good until one time I picked up my shirts. A few days later I was left a message that if I had received a female sweater in my pickup, to return it. First of all, insinuating I would keep someone else's clothes if they were given to me in an "undependable" manner, is so wrong on so many levels. Not trusting your clients is a sure fire way to not flourish as a business. Second of all, letting me know someone was incompetent inside the cleaners with someone else's clothes and highlighting how truly far from dependable they are is as dumb as it gets on a business level. Well, not trusting me has led me to never again trust you with my clothes. I would stay far away from any company that does not trust you and loses other people's clothes. read more

WTF. they didn't get a stain out my dress but still charged me full price. Also clothes smell like soap. Don't go here. I am never going back!!!! Want to give zero star and money back! read more

Just read the reviews.......my second experience with this store mimics the other reviews. They gave my Mom a shirt that wasn't hers. She gave it back and never received a follow up nor never got her shirt back. I had pants hemmed. They came back one leg longer than the other. The higher prices are not worth the convenience of the location and frustration. Not even 1 star. read more

My husband has a VIP account and it is because of this that I use DC- it is convenient and quick. However, for the 3rd time when I picked up our dry cleaning, they did not have his credit card number on file. This time I was dealing with a woman who self-identified as the manager, so I would expect slightly better customer service.... Further, I was picking up two pieces, one of which was an expensive down-filled shirt. When I dropped it off, I told the high school student at the desk that it was down. She didn't seem to make note or care which left me with an uneasy feeling. When I picked up, I inspected the shirt and asked the manager if the item was treated differently because it is down. She shook her head, no, and gave me some general bs statement about how they wash everything together. So between the general lack of care for my clothing and the lack of convenience of the VIP membership, I would say I will be taking my dry cleaning items elsewhere. Dry Cleaning Station on County Line has always maintained great customer service and my clothes have always turned out great... (and they have more reasonable prices- Dependable Cleaners is crazy expensive)! read more

Worst cleaners - STOP going to these guy. EXPENSIVE and worst service. If you really want to promote good business and good community, stop going to this place so they go out of business unless you are STUPID read more

The only thing dependable about Dependable Cleaners is their poor customer service. The countless 1 star reviews on Google do not lie. I was in a pinch and needed a ladies suit coat cleaned same day as my wife just finished an interview and was flying to another the next morning. Same day Saturday dry cleaning is clearly listed online so I decided to give it a shot. I arrived at 8am (when they open on Saturday) and confirmed with the clerk that I could pick the coat up at 4pm on the same day. The clerk said "yes, not a problem". When I arrive at 4pm, a different clerk informs me that the coat will not be ready until Monday because the machines have been broken. Clearly that does not work since my wife was leaving the next morning at 6am on a flight. Either the first clerk knew the machines were broken and lied to me about same day service, or they really do not care about their customers and the "same day" service listed on the website and front door is inaccurate. There was no way for them to return the coat to me and my only option was to wait for the coat to be cleaned and picked up 2 days late and my wife without a suit coat for an interview. Lessons learned, trust the Google reviews since they are correct, and never trust a dry cleaner that does not do the cleaning on premises. read more

Once again, this dry cleaners has done an absolutely poor job and the customer service is ZERO. Silly me, I have been coming to this dry cleaners out of sheer habit for about six years and after today, I will NEVER return! I probably drop off $300 worth of dry cleaning every other month and they have lost my business. Clothes have been lost, they ignore notes put directly on clothing, and they charge $$$$$. Kelsie answered the phone today 6/26/18 and could not have been less informed if they got a person in off the street to answer the line. I have cursed this place but have continued to give them business out of convenience, but absolutely, no more. Obviously, my business means nothing to these people. God's speed to those who leave their clothes here. You'd be better off cleaning them on a rock. You'd pay less, probably get cleaner clothes, and I bet the rock wouldn't be rude. BTW, Yelp forced me to give the one star that I did leave. I would have preferred to leave zero stars. read more

First/last time. $4.30 to have a shirt laundered. Seriously. Stupid me, I dropped four off for the first time here, thinking they were a normal cost cleaners. Went to pick them up and with a straight face, she told me it was $17.20. I asked if there were cheaper options. She said no. I left. Will never be back. read more

Wish I could give less than 1 star. This is the biggest price scam dry cleaners out there. DO NOT USE THEM! $25 to clean a suit. $5 for laundering dress shorts. Incredible. I went back to question their outrageous pricing and was told that the owner would need to call me back...but of course never did.... read more

If I could give less than one star I would. Extremely poor customer service (including eye rolling at me) and just WAY TOO EXPENSIVE. I usually use another dry cleaners in town, but happened to be right next door and thought I'd try them out. I brought in two dresses (very basic) and one shirt to be dry cleaned. Before handing over my items, I asked the lady how much the dresses (plural) would be. She looked at them and said, "$17." I though, seems reasonable! So I gave them a shot. I just went in today to pick up my items. Imagine my shock when I was told to pony up $34 just for the dresses!! It takes a lot to make me upset, but this was not right. I asked how this could be so expensive, and that I'd never paid so much in my life for two very basic dresses. The gal came out from back, rolled her eyes (thought I couldn't see) and said, "I would have never told you just $17." YES YOU DID. On top of that, they don't take Amex, but that's just an aside. Avoid this place at all costs. I will never return and will pass along my thoughts to anyone else on social media sites. read more

This place should be called "Undependable Cleaners!!" Who is the owner because I'd like to write them a letter! We dropped off 3 of my husband's shirts and they lost them. They had us come in on separate occasions to "identify" the shirts but none that they showed us were our shirts. They would not even compensate us so we were out 3 very nice shirts!! The shirts were lost forever! For some stupid reason, we decided to try them again...6 months later. We dropped off 4 shirts, and went to pick them up and they said they were only able to dry clean them, not launder them!! That should have been told to us initially and we would have taken the shirts home! The dry cleaners that I used in the past would always tell us up front if the shirt had to be dry cleaned. The bill was enormous! i will NEVER go to this cleaners again..EVER!! I would recommend that you drive anywhere else but to this place to have your cleaning done! AWFUL!!! read more
