I cannot believe how absolutely perfect the hemming of my charmeuse silk OVER 60 YEARS OLD dress turned out. I also needed it in 2 days. She managed to not only meet this deadline but exceed all expectations. She fixed my dress so I can wear it for a very long time. The sewing is absolutely perfect. The dress was in a delicate state, with parts that were on the verge of deterioration. Honestly, I was concerned about the strain on the aged zipper and the overall fit. Incredibly, she even reinforced those delicate areas, something I wouldn't have dreamt of asking for given the short timeframe. Her dedication and expertise goes beyond the ordinary. I asked him to have the dress steamed to take the wrinkles out because when I left the dress off a customer suggested I use a black markie if the stains would not come out. Rick did not charge me for diagnosing the spots nor steaming the dress. Rick had a markie, but unfortunately it made it worse, but if was worth a try. I learned never to put anything on a dry cleanable item so it was a learning curve. I was about to go to a dry cleaner in my town, but thankfully read reviews which were not positive. I understand it's all recorded on your cameras so you will see that the dress was SO short I could not even wear flat shoes with it. Second - the owner, Vassilis, REFUSED to reimburse me after I asked several times, came all the way back to prove my dress length, and had to wait while he checked cameras. I certainly did not rush out of the store. I was there over 15 minutes trying to reason with him. You can check your cameras to confirm. If you have had a change of heart and would like to reimburse me for customer good will, I am more than happy to accept as I had previously requested.
