Rip off shop stay away from this place. Mis-diagnosed the front end problems of husbands truck and lied about doing the work.

Terrible place. Stay away. Mis-diagnosis of repairs needed. Said they would fix the problem but did not. Too many other shops out there.

They mid-diagnose vehicle repairs needs and then they fix all te wrong parts. The lie about fixing the truck and what they suggested. I came in for a strange leaf spring issue, they came up with a plan, scheduled a day next week for the modifications, and my starter died (go figure, what timing) when trying to leave. They confirmed the issue with some electrical testing and pulled it right then, and I found a replacement nearby. I didn't want to inconvenience them with this, and certainly didn't expect it, but they just kept on with a smile. What luck. What we can do is choose how we react to it. BEWARE!!! We reached out to DSS back in July of '24 - they gave us an estimate and the on 7/25/24 we gave them $1500.00 on our credit card. We were told the parts should be in within 7-10 days - TWO MONTHS later we were finally able to take our Motorcoach in for shocks - alignment etc. so on 9/23/24 we took it in and we were asked if we wanted to know the amount we would still owe - we stated $4500.00 and we were told NO it's $4400.00, ok that's good. Then on 10/4/24 we were called at 3:30 in the afternoon saying we needed to come and get it because they don't have room to store it indoors over the week-end and all the work is not yet completed. So my husband opted to pay the remaining amount of the bill?? Nicole stated to a co-worker that they know what the bill is - so we think it's $4400.00. When we get home and look at the bill, we were charged $5605.78. Then we called on Monday and started getting the run around - no refund my husband took the coach back in on that Friday to have the rest of the work completed - when he was told they could refund the over charge because 3 CUSTOMERS HAD DISPUTED their bills that week and their credit card system was shut down???? We called Monday told it takes 3-4 days to appear - THEN on TUESDAY they had to call for the credit card information ETC -so they truly hadn't processed anything. The final refund was $821.98 instead of the $1206.78 that we should have received!! BEWARE of the charges!! If I could I'd give a rating of '0' for the office and their bits - however the mechanics were GREAT! read more

I needed leaf springs for my truck, and Denver Spring and Suspension came recommended by two different auto shops in the area. I called and they had my springs ordered quick- got unlucky and had some unrelated problems that delayed my ability to get them replaced. They were super kind and helpful, worked around my delay no problem. When I did get in, someone broke into their yard and tried to cut my catalytic converter off over the weekend. They got ahold of a shop and had the repairs taken care of next day. Leaf springs were installed and the truck rides great! Super awesome, extremely helpful, great service. Will 100% go again if I ever need suspension work. Thanks guys! read more

Please skip this shop, this is my story and my perspective but Denver Spring doesn't deserve anyone else's money. TLDR: Denver Spring destroyed my transfer case because of their lack of attention to detail, expertise, wisdom, or possibly a combination of them all. I took my OBS F250 in for new front springs and they recommended I go with X codes. At the same time they recommended that I add 2.5 degree shims to improve pinion angle. After Denver Spring did that work it changed my drive shaft position and now it's too long. The drive shaft was previously working fine, it was simply noisy because of angle. Here's the issue: They drove my truck with that now improperly sized drive shaft and absolutely destroyed my transfer case. Literally exploded. They did not have the professional expertise to know they created a new problem. The work they performed improved the pinion angle but it changed the drive position & length so drastically it now needs to be taken to a drive shaft shop, which is totally fine, but they apparently didn't have the professional knowledge to see that their work preformed created a such a massive new problem that if they drove the truck it would destroy the transfer case. I trusted them to be professionals and have the wisdom to replace the leaf springs on my truck, correct caster angle, and spot any problems their new work created. That seems pretty darn fair for paying them nearly $1100 for said work. Instead I left their shop with a busted transfer case and my truck on a AAA tow truck. The hardest part of this all is that instead of them being honorable and taking ownership of causing damage to the truck they tried to blame me. Per the poor work they did on my truck they are not experts and in my opinion its best choose a different shop. read more

I have taken two trucks to Denver Spring and Suspension and they did great on repairing the underneath on both. They were very reasonably priced on each vehicle and I can say enough good things about them. One was a box truck and one was a motorhome. Both took a couple of days not weeks to get done. Denver Spring had their lot towed/cleared by Nitro Towing Friday night 4/17/2015 between 10p-12a... Nobody was blocking a service door. No need to tow at this hour! I will never use Denver Spring AND Nitro Towing. Nitro Towing uses Blue Lightning Recovery to poach cars from downtown lots. Blue Lightning refused to look at the damage and said it was not their fault. Pix below are on their lot. read more

Not the same place they once were. Writing this review for my pops. He took a set of springs to be rebuilt off of his old Ford Custom. In the past, the springs would be cleaned and rebuilt with new bushings. This time, they were not cleaned, and no new bushings. The old stuff was used to rebuild the springs. worst experience ever would not recommend this shop to anyone ,they gave me a price over the phone first and told me they had springs in shop was going to be a little over $1800 , than they could not find springs in yard , called another company [Midwest truck] the one i should have used , and were at $2,083 but could get it done on the following Tuesday after ordering parts , i decided to save the extra $300 and go with Denver spring , by the time they got springs in and set a new time to bring in bus was 9 days , than there phones went down , was supposed to pick up bus on Thursday but no way to get ahold of them , over a hour and half to drive down there , they just started working on bus that morning but could not even call to tell me that it was not done and there lines were down all said and done the bill was $2362.55 and 9 days later [job was done correctly ] $500 more than original price making several trips and hours of 2 peoples times not to mention fuel , than they offered a $65 refund saying they can charge up to $200 over without approval wish i would have looked at reviews first Greg read more

Called this morning to get new bushings pressed in and Ellie said no problem, bring them in. I asked what the turn-around time was? She said if I wanted to wait...about an hour. If I wanted to drop them off about 3 hrs. Stopped in to see how close they were 3 hrs later and they havent even started on them. I brought them here because I needed them before 1: oclock. I brought a Jeep in for repair, mostly a look at the lift kit. They sent me home with it and within two blocks it was wobbling and the steering wheel was upside down. Brought it back and they told us it shouldn't be driven. After two more days, they told us it just needed a four wheel alignment, which they couldn't do. A new shop told us the long arm bushings were leaking, back bushings are blown, the bolts on the rear differential are dangerously loose, the rear gear box is broken, and the rear differential is bent. Denver Suspension saw none of this. The new shop brought us back to show every issue, discussed why it was dangerous, and explained options for repair. The only good thing Denver Suspension did was refer us to this shop, Merrill Axle and Wheel Service. read more

I went to Denver Spring to have them install a Firestone 2550 air cushion system that I had purchased over the internet from Edwin Gonzales. Denver Spring recommended I also procure new rear shocks for my 2014 Ford F-250. Denver Spring quoted me on the cost of all this work. In the middle of installation, it became painfully apparent the Firestone kit lacked air hoses and contained the wrong size bracket. Denver Spring went above and beyond all expectations in acquiring a completely new 2550 kit and cannibalizing it so my job could be completed; apparently it will settle up in some fashion with Edwin Gonzales and/or Firestone for the deficient kit. I paid Denver Spring the original quoted price and have a great new suspension. Sarah, the owner, her parts staff and mechanics saved the day for me. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! read more

Best thing to say here is they get the job done. I took my trailer to a camper store and had them flip the axles. It was not done correct and they wouldn't stand by their work. I took my camper to Denver spring and although it took a few times to get it right they did it stood by their work and I'm very happy with the end result. I liked dealing with these people. I can't praise the guys and gals at Denver Spring enough! Our company restores older Volvos, and this shop has become a great resource for the suspension work that we do; I first went to them when I was doing a complete teardown and rebuild on my work car, a 1982 240 wagon. Most of the bushings on that car require a press, so I ended up making a few trips to Denver Spring to have old rubber pressed out, and replaced. From the get go, my confidence in their knowledge and expertise was very high -- likely due to the fact that they had just finished working on a FIRE ENGINE when I first pulled up, and had proceeded to repair an RV the length of a city block while I was there. Larry was exceptional in his willingness to take extra time to answer my questions, and even give me various cost-saving pointers on my project at the time. Shelly and Quentin (who's names I no doubt have butchered) were great at keeping me updated on progress. Communication was awesome, turnaround times were stellar, prices thus far are the best I have found in town, and sense of humor was thankfully great. What I appreciate the most about this place is the "mom and pop" vibe -- very genuine folks working here, who will get to know you on a first name basis. The only explanation I can muster for those with negative things to say about the establishment is that you, sir or ma'am, must lack a soul.
