He presents himself as the first doctor who "finally understands" what's wrong. The relief is overwhelming. You feel seen. You may even break down in his office because, at last, someone claims to have an explanation. That emotional response is part of the problem. If he gives you a diagnosis, verify it--twice--through independent specialists not affiliated with him. Dr. Hepworth sent me down a frightening two-year rabbit hole with a diagnosis of a CSF leak. He claimed I had a possible cephalocele, a sinus infection that had eroded bone at the roof of my nose, a CSF leak through a skull defect, and a possible skull base fracture. He explicitly warned that if I became ill, bacteria or a virus could travel into my brain, causing meningitis and death. When I sought a second opinion, he referred me to one of his neurologist colleagues, who supported his conclusions. After extensive evaluation and testing at the Mayo Clinic, not a single one of Dr. Hepworth's diagnoses was correct. The actual cause of my symptoms was orthostatic hypotension. Do your research. Be skeptical of fear-based medicine. And don't give up on finding accurate answers--but make sure they come from unbiased, reputable specialists.

I shared my insecurities about my nose, it was crooked, too large and had a hump. I was told a combined septo-rhinoplasty would help both function and appearance. I asked for a very natural result and stressed that breathing was my top priority. Ginger reassured me I was in the best hands, emphasizing that he would revise until I was happy. Which should've been a red flag. Recovery was manageable and not too painful. When the cast came off, I was in shock. As the swelling went down, my nose looked more asymmetrical, scarred, and unnatural. And most disappointingly, my breathing hadn't improved, if anything, it was worse. Six months later, I underwent a revision septoplasty with Dr Menachof which made no significant difference. I'm now over two years post surgery, breathing has not improved. My cosmetic concerns have been brushed off and they have referred me to a cosmetic surgeon who can do filler in the nose. I refuse to do any filler and can't believe this is my result. Only recently did I discover that during the original surgery, Dr. Menachof had performed radiofrequency coblation turbinate reduction, something I wasn't clearly informed about or given the chance to fully understand the risk of Empty Nose Syndrome, and I now live with symptoms that match it, my right nostril feels painfully dry and obstructed despite it being wide open. My left nostril is constantly leaking and it seems to have only gotten worse over time, and all efforts to remedy it do not help. It's exacerbated I do any type of exercise, eating, talking, etc. It is humiliating, frustrating and a constant reminder of this mistake I made. Despite multiple follow-ups, Dr. Menachof continued to dismiss my concerns, saying everything "looks great" and that I'm just one of the unlucky ones. I wish I could undo the decision to trust him. I look back at old photos and realize I never needed this surgery and certainly not with this provider. I am beyond devastated and frustrated with my results and functional issues I now experience. I've become depressed and no longer can enjoy the things I used to in this life. If you're considering rhinoplasty, I strongly urge you to reconsider. I wish someone had warned me. Just know it is possible to have worse nasal function and appearance than what you have now, don't take it for granted like I did. I will not post photos here but there are some on other platforms.

I originally went in to check out my neck; a coworker noticed something so I figured it may be a thyroid issue. Now what is the reason for the one star you may ask? Dr Raghuveer was great; the assistant nurse...eh it could've been a bad day but she was alright. To put it bluntly, the one star is for the absolutely incompetent front desk staff. Appointment and being seen was alright I suppose, but the front desk leaves a lot to be desired. After my first appointment, Dr Raghuveer sent me to the Anschutz Medical Campus to get an ultrasound on 6/26 We essentially left the discussion at "get the ultrasound and we'll see what they say" The next day they called me trying to get me in for an appointment. I was confused, as I understood to wait for the next steps. They said it was "to go over my test results" They were trying to get me in sometime in the morning (8-9am) which I couldn't do as I had work. After some back and forth calling, it was going to be on the 6/28, but then it got canceled (by the office) and we switched it to a Virtual Visit for 7/1. That weekend 6/29-6/30 the office called me back and canceled the virtual visit, stating that the appointment needed to be in person. This was after I had explicitly asked them if I had to come in or it could be virtual (I could do it on my break). The office said Dr Raghuveer wouldn't be able to see me until near the end of the month, after just trying to get me in within the week. This prompted me to ask, "Do I have to be seen by ONLY Dr Raghuveer or could anybody see me." The office said that any provider could see me so we scheduled an appointment with Dr Giang for 7/2 at 1:30pm On 7/2 at about 11:30 AM I received another phone call from the office, claiming that only Dr Raghuveer could see me and they were canceling the appointment with Dr Giang. The following day I found a letter on my portal saying that I had missed my appointment To top it off, apparently this office has a 3 strikes policy. (3 late shows/late cancellations) and "due to me not showing up to MENTIONED APPOINTMENT I received strike 1. Oh you mean THE APPOINTMENT THAT YOUR FRONT DESK CANCELLED? If you get 3 strikes they'll dismiss you from the practice. No worries, after the absolute headache that was this visit I'll dismiss myself from your practice.

I have been a client…read morefor well over fifteen years, and I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Brock and his staff. They're just WONDERFUL! I have an uneasy relationship with my hearing loss and hearing aids. I don't particularly care that I'm hard of hearing, and I just train people to look at me when they speak. I don't like hearing aids and consider them a necessary evil. I either haven't worn them, or only wore one, most of my life since age 13. Things changed when my son fell on the stairs in NY, and I couldn't hear him crying for me. My mother, who has acute hearing and a terrible temper, brought him upstairs and yelled, "You need to wear a damn hearing aid!" Well pfft. Upon our return to Colorado, I shuffled my feet off to Hearing Rehab Center, as it was then. I sulked during the hearing test. Dr. Brock fitted me with a top-of-the line LEOPARD-printed hearing aid. I LOVED it. It was tiny, amazing, and LEOPARD. Dr. Brock suggested that I get two, but I refused. Ex-husband and kid(s) were extremely noisy. He never pushed me to get a second one. Over the years, I've stopped by many times for batteries, new domes, new tube thingies, and the occasional overdue hearing test. I've also run over in a complete panic when my aid didn't work. This was usually because of a loose wire. I had to eventually replace the leopard aid, and Dr. Brock guided me to what he thought was the best choice for me. A tiny Oticon aid, in an unfortunate shade of burgundy that matches Oriental rugs perfectly. I am exceedingly grateful to Dr. Brock for making a bad situation (hearing loss) better. He's a genuinely kind, very nice, and thoroughly professional audiologist. He REALLY knows his field, and keeps up with the latest developments and technology. I cannot recommend him highly enough. He's also very pleasant in that he won't push you into making a choice. I really appreciate that. Excellent hearing aids are expensive, even with special pricing. HearUSA has partnered with a couple of major manufacturers in order to offer discounts on some aids. HearUSA also offers the OTC aids for$999. These are suitable for people with mild to moderate loss. Unfortunately, mine is more severe, so those won't help me. But for metalheads or age-related loss, these could work.
