Very thorough and professional in their exams. Hearing aids and batteries are the best price around. Great value for the money!

Dr. Molina at the Aurora office has added an important element for their clients: cognition…read moreevaluations. Hearing decline has been tied as an important first indicator of brain changes. Add to this they not only display it on a regular TV-sized LED screen, but they email it to you as well. They display changes across time to show significant changes to your hearing (if they've occurred). They give you options to maintain hearing aids you have or what's out there in "pushing the envelope" to restoring what hearing's been lost over time. I believe they keep my hearing sensitivity as sharp as possible.

Some kind of bedside manner would be useful. My daughter came in for a hearing test, where they…read morealso give cognition tests. You, Brendan O'Toole, so-called hearing associate, obviously know nothing about how different people process information. My daughter has severe OCD, and processes information, depending on many factors. I tried to explain this to this "person", and he brushed me off by saying her cognition test score had nothing to do with her condition! Of course it does! "He" then proceeded to say that her cognition has significantly declined and my daughter should immediately see a neurologist regarding Alzheimer's. (She's 37 and is very concerned about diseases and illnesses). Her father died from Parkinson's. "He" said this in front of both of us! My daughter left the room crying and exclaimed she would never go back there and see him. I said neither would I! Such blatant lack of consideration for our feelings, along with his lack of knowledge should be reported to the Director of Audiology. As an aside, my daughter got her degree in classics and graduated Phi Beta Kappa.

I want to clarify my original review because I think the point is being missed. I personally have a…read morecochlear implant and a hearing aid, so hearing care is something I have dealt with for years and understand how difficult and confusing it can be. This review is based on my sister's experience with this practice. My sister has called me after EVERY appointment extremely upset because she feels that her concerns are not being heard and that she is not getting the communication or support she needs. She has even asked me to come to an appointment with her to help explain what she needs because of my own experience navigating hearing loss and hearing care. What is most frustrating is that she should not have to feel like she needs another person there just to be listened to. Hearing loss is already incredibly difficult to navigate, and patients deserve patience, communication, and a provider who takes their concerns seriously. I also want to be clear that I am not claiming to speak for every patient or saying that everyone will have the same experience. I am sharing what my sister has experienced and how upsetting it has been to watch. Rather than dismissing the concern as a "fake review," I would hope the response would be an opportunity to listen and do better. Robert, I genuinely hope you take this feedback seriously. People dealing with hearing loss deserve to feel heard.

If you have a 9-5 do not go here. I was assured when I purchased my hearing aids that support would…read morebe free, accessible, and reliable. That has not been my experience. The lack of available check-up appointments and the overall communication gap is unacceptable for a clinic that serves people with hearing challenges. I've had hearing aids since the day I was born and have never experienced anything like this. Feels like money grab to claim 'free service' then never being open, never answering their office phone, never call back when you leave voicemails, and they don't 'email'. Save yourself $10k and your sanity and go elsewhere.... To clarify I wear 2 hearing aids both $5k. All I ever wanted or asked for were a couple months of fresh supplies to take care of them but too much to ask for. I've rushed after work to get there before 5 but they close at 5 on the dot. I've had to call off work to get supplies and I get 4 filters (lasts 2 months). No wing replacements, no rubber replacements nothing. Just sad and isolating at the end of the day. And my names Megan O'Brien date of birth 7/24/1995. Hurtful. Dr Ira is my doctor
