Dr. Lewark is the BEST ENT provider. He has treated several of my sons. Going back to 2003. He engages and explains things well. Anything having to do with ears, nose and throat he is most trusted for my family. Several friends have been referred to Dr. Lewark and have reported excellent results. If it wasn't for Dr. Lewark I wouldn't be hearing out of my left ear. He explains everything to you, refers you to the right specialist if it's something he doesn't do IE: surgery/procedure ect. Getting your ears cleaned is never fun, but after the surgery I've had to correct my hearing (thanks to Dr. Lewark paying attention to all my concerns during my first visit with him)I'll never use q-tips again and I'll let an ENT clean my ears! He's quick and good with his cleanings. Of course he fully updates you on how your ears look inside and how compacted(dirty) your ear is/wax build up. So far I've had wonderful experiences here and will continue to have Dr. Lewark as my ENT. I work in the medical field and in school to further my ability to help others. We are slammed. We deal with rude people all day long who want to do things their way based off something they read on google. They demand things be done they've seen on TV. We've taken an oath. I want you to live your best life. Now not all doctors are good doctors, but over worked every doctor is currently. Try getting into see someone to get help with mental health for example after all this craziness in our country. We're doing the best we can. Have some humility. Speak up. Find another ENT doctor who really cares. They closed the location I previous went to, because of that they will not send my records to me or another doctor. They wont even help me at the new location with this. They say I need to call a number at the old location to leave a message. I left a message and never got a call back or my medical record to see exactly what they diagnosed me with. They just don't care. But they sure want their payment from me after closing. read more

I went for a consult that included a hearing test and the doctor spending about 10 minutes with me before ordering a CT scan. A few weeks later, I was called and was told I "had" to come in because the Dr. Sharp wanted to talk to me about my results. I drove 20 minutes to his office, he spent LITERALLY one minute with me in the room and all he said was, "Your CT is normal, keep taking the prescription I gave you last time and call me if anything changes." That was it. A few days later I got a bill for $300 for the consult, and just recently got a bill for $100 for the follow-up appointment. Like other reviews have mentioned, I called and spoke with Kristy, the Practice Manager, because during this ongoing pandemic these bills were a lot of money. The first time I called about the consult bill, she said she can't negotiate with me because it would violate their contract with my insurance. The second time she told me that she informed Dr. Sharp of my comments and HE was the one that was "not willing" to make any adjustments to the fees. Per Kristy, it's Dr. Sharp's policy that all results be given in person. I worked in an oncology clinic for 5 years and know that it is routine to give patients normal imaging results over the phone, saving them time and money. What Rocky Mountain ENT is doing is clearly just a ploy to get patients to come in so they can charge for a visit. While the actual clinic staff I interacted with was very nice, it seems pretty clear that their billing practices are shady at best, and that their physicians are a willing participant. On top of all of that, Dr. Sharp couldn't even diagnose or help with my issue. I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

Yet another example of the corrupt health care system in the USA. Went in for a simple evaluation of sinusitis. I've been dealing with sinusitis for a while, so there was nothing particularly special about this place (good or bad). Hence the 3 stars. They scoped my nasal passages and told me what they saw, that was it, and that was all I expected. Time spent by doctor reviewing the history notes I brought with me / my chart outside the evaluation room: 5 minutes Time spent by doctor with camera in my nasal passages: 5 minutes Time spent by doctor talking about findings and path forward: 15 minutes Charges: CPT Code 99204 New patient - Moderate Complexity (the office visit portion) $313 CPT Code 31231 Endoscopy Procedures on the Accessory Sinuses (the scope portion) $566 Total: $879 Call it 30 minutes, that's $1758 / hour. I suppose someone has to live in those mansions in Cherry Hills. Those mansions aren't going to live in themselves. We need legislation for price transparency, charging transparency, accountability of insurance companies, doctors, doctor groups, and breaking up this corrupt system. This is out of control. Every patient needs to share every bill they have, including every CPT code charged by every doctor. The first step to cleaning up this system is to shine light on it, starting with shining light on all of the prices. read more

I would not recommend this place to ANYONE. Worst patient experience of my life. First of all, the office was not clean or COVID-safe - there were patients in the waiting room with masks hanging off of their faces and the situation wasn't being monitored by their employees in any capacity. I intentionally made an appointment with a female doctor and was instead seen by Dr. Lewark... They became aware of this mishap halfway through the appointment and the doctor dismissed the situation entirely, saying "don't worry, we all do the same thing"... He was impatient and irresponsibly quick with me, standing in the doorway trying to exit the room when I was in the middle of asking questions about my vocal health. A few weeks later I received a bill for $546.00!!! For a 20 minute (if even) visit, which by the way, I arrived 15 min early for and was seen 20 minutes LATE. When I called to sort this out, the woman on the phone was rude and dismissive and would not make any adjustments to the astronomically (and inappropriately) expensive bill. This ENT office is a mess of a business that is evidently NOT concerned with patient care. read more

Dr. Lewark and his staff are for the most part A++. However, I paid a bill (she called so I would not go into collections.... once again amazing) However, I got the same bill 3 months later. I tried to call because I work 7:30am -6pm. It was after hours and their bill pay online never works for me. So I just wanted to ask a question or leave a message. The rude woman on the phone yelled at me saying its medical emergencies only. Great... How can I get a hold of anyone in the office? She didnt say bye, sorry I cant hell you just slammed the phone in my ear. Their after hours needs to be fired. FIRED! My parents have been in medical practice for over 50 years I have over 20 doctors myself treating all my conditions.... never have I encountered a rude after hours lady. NEVER. You would be better going to an ER and getting care there. Like I said amazing office but they need to fire their after hours service. Disrespectful, Rude and incredibly unprofessional. read more

This review is strictly in my opinion only. I will never go back to this clinic and would never recommend them to a friend. I have an issue with sinus migraines. I visited with Dr. Scott Sharp on 4/22. While I described the problem I was having, he didn't even seem to be listening to me. He was doing something with the scope. He performed 1 test and said he couldn't help me. He referred me to another specialist and advised me to make another appointment to talk about an issue I have with my ear. He spent less than 10 minutes in the room with me. I then received a bill for $440.00. My primary care physician was able to correct my issue without the specialty doctor pricing. She prescribed me a nasal spray which, one would think, an ear, nose and throat doctor would be aware of. It almost seemed like Dr. Sharp was more interested in getting a referral fee than fixing my problem. read more

Recently had a surgery to repair deviated septum (septoplasty), nasal valve collapse and turbinate reduction. Dr. Lewark cranked through the surgery in no time (about an hour) and did a bang up job on all of it. I was a bit nervous about the piece of cartilage inserted into my nasal wall to rebuild the valve. I was informed that it would modify the look of my nose, but that it should actually make it cosmetically nicer. Initially, post surgery, it looked really uneven. After the swelling went down a few days later, as promised, it looks great (better than before the surgery). On top of all of this... I can breathe amazingly and can taste food far better than I ever could before. I waited far too long to get this surgery. The recovery wasn't a blast, but it was manageable. I was off of the pain meds 2 days after the surgery. I had the surgery done on a Monday, the splints came out on Friday and I was able to go skiing Saturday. Not bad. Reading online reviews and talking to other people who have had this procedure done elsewhere, they were laid up much longer, ended up with two black eyes, etc. None of that for me. Thanks for an overall great experience. I'll be back if I ever need to see an ENT again. read more

I was having hearing issues with my right ear, and it just wasn't getting any better. I called Monday morning, and they were able to fit me in the same day! WOW! They offered to email the forms to me, so I could take time at home to complete them before heading to the office. Very nice. The staff were all very courtesous, carring and really took to the time listen to my concerns. I was very happy with the treatment I received, and the level of concern shown to me regarding my health. read more

I scheduled a visit with Dr. Tyler Lewark to discuss tinnitus I had been experiencing. I was called in 30 minutes late. Instead of Dr. Lewark, I found myself with an audiologist who put me in a room for a hearing test. Once this was complete I sat in another room for nearly 20 minutes until Dr. Lewark came in. He spent literally no more than 5 minutes with me only to tell me that there is no real treatment for tinnitus. He offered me a coupon for some kind of 'herbal remedy' and wished me good luck. Charges were $167.00 for the hearing test that I didn't ask for and $204.00 for the 5 minutes he graced me with his presence. When I called to question the bill I was of course told there would be no adjustment and that I was actually fortunate because the bill had already been reduced due to negotiated rates with my insurance company. My primary care Dr recommended an ENT ear cleaning, so I just randomly picked this place because it was close to work. They were great! I was able to get an appointment within a couple days of when I called. Staff was very nice - they gave me the option to send in paperwork via email in advance to make the sign in very quick! I waited in the waiting room less than 5 minutes, Dr. was very competent, friendly, and thorough, and the appointment took less time than they originally estimated. Highly recommended! read more

Absolutely horrible customer service. The office manager Kristy was terrible rude and unhelpful! The only person in the office I would recommend would be Marie the audiologists. The Dr did not even remember or bother to consult the chart about a prior surgery he had performed on my son and recommended the same surgery! I recently had a surgery to have my tonsils removed and Dr. Scott Sharp was the best! I had met with him a few times before the surgery to determine why I was constantly getting strep and other problems with my tonsils and both times he was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and quick. He took the time to explain things and made you feel very comfortable. He completed my surgery in about 30 minutes and it went really really well. No complications and he did a truly fantastic job! I would recommend him to anyone who needs an ENT doctor. read more

I have an ear problem and I couldn't stand it any longer. I knew that I had a sinus infection, but my ear problem had been going on for awhile. Dr. Sharp made me wait 20 minutes and basically stuck a rod up my nose to tell me what I already knew - I have a sinus infection. He didn't help me with my ear - He said we could fix that problem next time. He then proceeded to charge me $800 for this!!!! My insurance cut the price down to $450, but I shouldn't have to pay that much to be told what I already know!!!! I feel like instead of helping me, they reached into my purse and stole everything I had. I feel like I was taken advantage of. Be very careful before you decide to go here. read more

I first met with Dr. Sharp after a botched tonsillectomy, in which my whole left tonsil was not removed! Being that we lived in Colorado Springs, Dr. Sharp was unable to perform my second, yes SECOND tonsillectomy (unheard of right?). He was so kind, compassionate and caring with my first visit, my husband and I have driven all the way up to centennial to see him ever since for various medical issues we have both been ailed by. He is always thorough, kind and reassuring. Every person in the office has the same morale and I seriously cannot recommend Dr. Sharp enough! What an amazing office and staff. it's been two years since Dr. Lewark cut down a bone spur and shrunk my turbinate. I have to say I was much better before the surgery. That nostril is now almost always plugged up, so I can't breathe even as much through it as before the surgery. My sense of smell is worse, so much so that what was once the best nose in the family is now the worst...and my sense of taste has declined as well. I used to love cooking and eating, and now I don't get any enjoyment from eating because food sometimes doesn't taste like anything. I am very sad and upset about this. Dr. Lewark insisted my smell shouldn't be affected, but it is. I would suggest to any potential candidates that you ask him, and get in writing, the medical necessity and risks of everything he wants to do. I think he f*&^d up the turbinate reduction, and he doesn't want to get sued for it. :( read more

I've had hearing/fluid/fullness issues with my ears for several months now. Everyone I talked to here was very helpful and very nice. My appointment took 2 hours because their systems went down for a short time but they got to the bottom of my problem and ended up being worth the 2 hours. Would recommend. read more
