A great place for big shows! It didn't seem to big or too small. You can still see the main event pretty high up which is where we were. We went to see the rodeo / bull riding and had a blast! The ticketing is a bit confusing & customer service wasn't the nicest but we figured it out and still had a great night!

Parking is free which is a huge plus, but it also took a long time, and they had very few attendants to ensure that people parked properly and to speed the process up. For a sold out event like the rodeo it would really streamline things and eliminate accidents. Other than that the seats are a bit small so you are really packed in tight, but I think that is to be expected from an older building like this one. The sight lines are fantastic and there really didn't seem to be a bad seat in the house. There were plenty of concession stands and vendors as well and since it is a smaller venue it doesn't take too long to walk around the entire thing.

Gem & Mineral Show 2020 If you go during the weekend, there is probably a line. But that's just for the first building- you can walk into the other building without waiting. They told us once we were at the front of the line. They also had us register with name, phone number and email via a QR code on your phone/ website. It may have held up some people at the door who took longer to enter that info into their phones. Once inside, the gems and minerals delivered as expected- gorgeous! The food and drinks were mostly outside in a food truck area. They asked that everyone eating and drinking do so under the tent- no eating while walking with the mask off. That was actually a pretty good idea as it's impossible to control people just wondering around with masks off. My only recommendation would be to have more drink areas as some of the shoppers were there all day long, and they were quite dehydrated after such a long time. Overall - I'm glad they went ahead and held the event. Apparently the other ones earlier in the year had been cancelled- so the vendors & a lot of the shoppers who own stores were happy they did!

Facility is run down and not well kept. The parking is horrible and takes forever to get in, but they still charge you $15! Having been at coliseums in other cities, this is not well run and I will avoid events here if I can. Unfortunate!

We showed up tonight for the infamous Ringling Bro's and Barnum and Bailey Circus - The Denver coliseum has been the home for events like this and also the western stock show- It is a not as popular nowadays because of new arenas like the Pepsi Center- But on the up side its cheaper in many ways like you don't have to pay for parking because it has a huge parking lot behind it- Food and drinks are also cheaper and most people don't realize how much money they save if they come down to the box office to purchase event tickets rather then online surcharges - Any coming events in the near future should be sought out, because with the way Denver is growing and the soon to be work on I-70 highway this to will be a memory from old pictures taken from photographer's as myself -

I have lived in Denver all my life and somehow I don't think I have ever been to the Coliseum until this year for some Cutthroats games. It is old school. There really is no bad seat. I think the furthest seat from the ice is like 28 rows back, so that translates to a pretty good experience as far as being able to see and experience the action. I have sat behind the Cutthroat bench and farther up and I would say it is even better farther away. The seats are the wood plank style, so they can be hard to sit on for a long period, but they are wide. The biggest drawback is they don't have cup holders - which leads to lots of spills. The score board is nice and easy to see. They always are good at putting up the action so you never miss anything. The bathrooms are basic, but clean. The concessions are your basic arena food (hot dogs, popcorn, pizza, etc...) and about what you would pay at Pepsi Center. And the parking is free, although it is a pretty rough lot in need of paving. One big negative is that it is really hard to find the parking lot on the first time there (if you use Google maps it will take you to the Stock Show lots). Just remember the free lot is basically behind the arena off 44th & McFarland Dr. Once you find it, it is a breeze to get there again. Plus it has easy access to I-70 for easy on/off the highway. It is actually a pretty low key, nice old school place. No frills. No glitz. Just a solid place to see an event. It is great for the Cutthroats game! A-OK in my book!

The walk wasn't too bad but in the snow, it was a mission. The stadium is very nice outside, you get to see some status .. Hall of Fame stuff, and broncos statue as well. Inside the stadium is nice, the seats are regular stadium seats so nothing special with it. If you're lucky to go to the Suite Level area or the Press Box then it's very nice there. The game was great until it started having the snow storm which likely affected the game outcome.

A Ballpark That Feels Like Community! Coors Field is more…read morethan just a place to watch a baseball game--it's a space where people come together and share a meaningful experience. As someone who studies communication and popular culture, I see the stadium as a great example of how everyday places can bring people closer and create a sense of connection. From the moment you walk in, there is a strong feeling of shared identity. Fans wearing Rockies gear, the views of the mountains, and the excitement of the crowd all contribute to a sense of belonging. These moments reflect a key idea from my field: popular culture helps shape how people see themselves as part of a larger community. Even small details--like enjoying classic ballpark food or browsing team merchandise--add to the experience. These simple activities are part of what scholars describe as everyday cultural practices, where meaning, identity, and enjoyment come together in ordinary settings. There is also something special about the atmosphere itself. Whether it is your first game or one of many, the traditions of baseball create a sense of familiarity and continuity. The game connects to decades of stories, memories, and shared experiences, making each visit feel both personal and part of something bigger. Overall, Coors Field stands out not only because it is a beautiful and enjoyable place, but because it highlights how everyday experiences--like spending an evening at a ballgame--can bring people together in meaningful ways. A welcoming, vibrant space that captures the spirit of community and shared experience.

It happens to be their home opening weekend and they were going against the highly touted Philadelphia Phillies. We arrived to Coors Field on a Saturday for an evening game. The stadium is located in a nice area in downtown Denver. Paid parking is accessible along the streets, multiple parking lots, and parking garages all around. There was a jersey hoodie giveaway to the first 20,000 fans so we decided to arrive a little earlier than usual. The jersey hoodie was good quality for a free giveaway. It was a nice touch. We were able to walk around before the game started and see how beautiful the stadium was. It looked like every seat had a great view. As for food we ordered the Tournadough pretzel twister with butter and Parmesan, Rocky Mountain oysters with fries, Rockie Dog, a tall Elysian Space Dust and a couple of Chardonnay wines. Everything was delicious. The Tornadough was a tasty combo of both sweet and salty. It was soft and chewy in a pleasant way. The Rocky Mountain oysters were unique and crispy. I could not tell it was bull testicles. Lol. The Rockie Dog was scrumptious with all the toppings and condiments. Overall we enjoyed our experience at Coors Field. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The game itself was entertaining at times but I wish there could have been more scoring due to the infamous Denver "thin air." We were able to catch the sunset from our seats which was amazing. The price point of all the food and the tickets were more than fair. I hope to be back when my favorite baseball team, the San Francisco Giants play vs the Rockies.

The atmosphere was awesome from the moment we arrived. I have never been in a place with so many cowboy hats. It truly felt like stepping into a whole different world. Cowboys and cowgirls everywhere!Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and social. Even people sitting next to us were chatting and excited to talk about the events. The energy in the Denver Coliseum was great, and seeing all the different rodeo events was really neat. Price: I bought our tickets online directly from the National Western Stock Show website. Tickets for the MLK Rodeo were about $44-$45 per person. Each day or event has a different price, so it depends on what you choose, but I felt the price was fair for the experience. Transportation: We drove our own car, and transportation itself was fine, but parking was honestly ridiculous. I saw parking prices as high as $70. We ended up finding a spot not too far away for $40, which still felt expensive. If you live in downtown Denver, I would highly recommend taking an Uber or Lyft it would probably be cheaper and way less stressful. Crowd: It was honestly pretty crowded almost every seat was filled but it was still a really good time. Even with how packed it was, there was enough space between seats to stay comfortable and not feel cramped. My husband and I were sitting at the very top in the middle, and we still had a great view of everything. Honestly, it seems like there isn't really a bad seat in the Denver Coliseum. Events: All of the events were fun to watch, but my favorite part was definitely the kids hanging onto the sheep mutton busting. It was adorable and had the whole crowd cheering. Since it was my first rodeo, everything felt exciting and new, and there was always something happening to keep things interesting. Overall: This was a great experience, especially for a first-time rodeo. The atmosphere, events, and friendly crowd made it really special. I would highly recommend attending the National Western Stock Show at least once . It's fun, unique, and something you won't forget.

The food concessions were basic, thank goodness for the food trucks outside but some of them were super pricey for a basic dish of one taco for example. One issue I noticed is a lack of handrails for the upper stands (200 level). A man fell down the stairs and a handrail would have helped him prevent the fall!! Also see emergency egress as an issue due to the number of vendor inside. The show was good and the competitions were well done.

The Spartans are a professional indoor arena football team that's fast paced, fun entertainment, fan focused & affordable! They're lots of scoring & the players have a great time dancing. Fans get to keep the footballs that land in the crowd or are thrown to the fans by players after scoring. Players are available for autographs & photos after the game too. Ticket prices run around $25, however ours were only $11 each. We went to the first game of the season - Colorado Spartans (69) vs Las Vegas Kings (18). There were no signs that we saw for parking so it took awhile to figure out where to go. The game ball was brought out by one of the city councilman driving an exotic sports car. The team as a whole was pretty talented. The Quarterback had a good arm & was quite mobile, the RunningBack was fast with great moves & the Defense was solid, giving up only 18 points. The DJ & the sound system was very good, as were the Spartan Cheerleaders. The coliseum seats seem to be original 1950 vintage - they were hard & wooden with no cupholders. There were a some food options, we had burgers & they were just so so & the chicken tenders (3) with fries for $12 - they were pretty tasty. In addition, there was plenty of Spartan merch to purchase as well. All in all a great game & night. I'm looking forward to a fun season!
