Believe it or not - a dead tree branch fell on my relatively new car. I requested a quote from Ron, and he showed up at my house the same day! Although I know not to expect this from everyone due to scheduling, Ron was extremely responsive. Car is now repaired and it looks flawless. I also requested work on my father's car, and Ron made the best recommendations for the safest repairs. Although I hope to not need service (lol for living in the Bay and knowing I probably will) in the future, Ron is now my go-to guy! read more

Two dents on my car have been screaming at me for years but I simply ignored them. Then all the sudden, they were all I could see when I looked at my car. And today when I woke up, I just couldn't stand the thought of them any longer so I Yelped and requested quotes from three vendors. Ron, responded promptly, asked for more information, and gave me a reasonable quote. We agreed to meet shortly after at his location so he could work on my car this morning. Yup, I have no patience and could be hard to please! An hour later, dents were gone like they were never there. Wow!! My car is beautiful again. Woohoo!!! So happy!!! On top of that while I was waiting comfortably sitting in Ron's garage when he was fixing the dents, we were chatting away like I was visiting an old friend. Ron is super nice! He is honest, friendly and a true professional. Who would have known that having the dents removed from my car could be such a pleasant experience! Thank you Ron!!! read more

What was a simple estimate turned into Ron fixing 3 dents on my car. Ron came over to my place to give me an estimate on fixing 3 of my dents. His price was too good to be true, so I immediately asked him if he have time to fix my car now. He said yes and it'll only take 1-2 hours. As promised, it only took Ron less than 1 and a half hour to fix my car. I was amazed by the result. I will definitely hit him up again for all my dent needs. read more

Ron drove over to my apartment within an hour of me agreeing to his quote! He fixed the ding/dent that I had on my M2 in the parking lot while I stayed in my apartment. After 40 minutes or so he sent me a text saying he was all finished. His work is amazing, I can't find the ding anymore even if I try to look for it. Good as new! His pricing is extremely fair as well. read more

My car got scratched on the side of the road. Ron was super fast and responsive. He was able to fix it with some paint in 30 min same day and it was much cheaper than what the dealer quoted. Outstanding workmanship, fair price, consistent time management and a great guy Ron was able to perform perfection in removing dent to my wife's new 2018 car yesterday While others quoted $500-$700 and suggested painting, bondo, and more (!), Ron simply applied the tools and workmanship of a professional to do the same for ~$200 His years of experience and professional eye are able to deliver the best results at a fraction of the time others promised And he also was able to deliver house visit *on time* which as we all know is a challenge both for workmen and us laymen Ron was also a pleasure to chat with given his knowledge of Ocean Avenue, and the music scene in San Francisco the past 20-30 years Thanks, Ron (!) read more

Great service here. Ron did such an amazing job on my Grand Cherokee. It looks just like new again. I did my research in terms of prices and he gave me a very fair estimate. The dent on my car wasn't super crazy but since it's a barely new car I had to do something about it. He took his time checking back on every single spot making sure that the dent was completely gone. My car is dent free now. Thanks a lot for a quick message response, for the fair price and the quick service. I will definitely recommend it! read more

I recently saw Ron to fix a dent on a driver side door of my A220. It was an easy process where i emailed a photo and he gave me a fair quote. While I understand that he operates a mobile service, he also works out of his garage which is located near Riordan HS. We scheduled an appt the very next day. You can tell he is very good at what he does and that he has been doing it for decades. He is a very down to earth guy and easy to talk to. He told me what he could do and noted potential problems with my debt that he might not be able to fully fix. I appreciate his honesty and integrity. Mr did a great job, enough that I could live with it. He couldn't fix it 100%, but I think he got 95% of it done. I'm very happy with his work. The next day, I noticed another ding on the rear panel that I was surprised that neither of us had seen. I texted him and he said I could drop by his garage. He noted that it might be difficult because it was too sharp but he would give it a try. He did his best. At the end, he couldn't get it completely fixed, but it was better. I neglected to ask for a quote when I called him so I was afraid after he started to work on it. When I asked him how much I owed him when he finished, he said he wouldn't charge me bc he didn't fix it. I already have another dent that I want him to fix. He'll be my dent repair guy until he retires and I would highly recommend him without reservations. read more

I had a pretty decent dent in my trunk and honestly didn't think it would come out fully. I expected to have a small dent still because it was on crease. Ron worked his magic and it came out better than expected. He was able to pop out the dent completely, miraculously. His communication was great; responded quickly, was up front about price and did a great job. I can't say enough great things about Ron, he's a real stand up guy. Ron has a very impressive skill on dent removal. DentTech deserves five stars review. I took my Mustang to him, which had few dents on it. Everything was done in a hour. Best work best price very easy to work with. Will definitely recommend to others ! It was a pleasure .

I had three small dents on my Porsche after some vandalism. I looked around for quotes and found Ron via Yelp. He was willing to come out (for free) and take a look at the damage to see if he thought he could do it. Based on what he saw, he gave a quote for a glue pull technique and said he was confident he could get them out. Ron took the time to explain the challenge and the approach he would take, all without asking for a cent for the evaluation. The glue stick approach was because it wasn't possible to get in behind the dents because of their location. Several other people I talked to wouldn't even consider the job because of that, so it was great to hear someone was up to the job. In the end I went with Ron and we set up a time to do it in his driveway, which was helpful as I didn't have a location he could do the work. So far Ron had been perfect to deal with, and I went to work hoping for the best. Unfortunately this was the end of the good experience. A couple of hours later I received a call saying that all the dents were gone, but the paint had come off my car at the location of the third dent. When I showed up I was greeted with a patch of missing paint larger than a quarter, and it looked much worse than the dents. Apparently my car (which I had only owned for a couple weeks) had been repainted, and this made it a poor candidate for glue pulling. This was great to find out after the fact, and after my car had already been damaged! I actually wasn't even aware that the car had been repainted (was missing from the CarFax), but the thing is - even if I had known, that didn't even come up in any conversation we had. I was really disappointed with Ron's attitude - he seemed to put all the blame on the dealer and went round my car showing me the signs that it had obviously been repainted. I was speechless, wondering where all these super obvious signs of a repaint were before he started. Ultimately I paid for this service (and at $500 it wasn't cheap) to have a professional avoid making the mistakes I might have done if I did it myself. Part of that is hoping that someone with experience knows what to look for before pulling the paint off my car. One other thing that bothered me after the fact - Ron also tried to do some damage control to the paint by (I think?) reapplying clear coat. This was all done before speaking to me and explaining what happened. I have no idea if he's qualified for that and what the implications will be when I take this to get it repaired properly like I should have done in the first place. I'm leaving two stars despite the damage that was done. The dents are gone and you could never tell that two of the three of them were ever there. And I don't think for a second this was done intentionally, but this mistake has cost me $450 (a $50 discount for the damage...) and a glaring mark above my door. read more

Had a friend of a friend try to repair a small dent on my fender that he said was an "easy fix". Well he ended up making it worse and I thought I had to get a whole new panel at this point.. but decided to try my luck with PDR and got quotes from a few businesses here on Yelp. 2 of the 3 vendors told me it was impossible to fix and that I needed a body shop, but Ron said he could possibly get it to 90%. Accommodated my schedule and he was done within an hour. He wasn't able to get it completely out but it's barely noticeable unless you look for it - 90% in my book and beats the price of taking it to a body shop. Thank you again Ron! read more

I called Ron after some degenerate spiked a full beer (glass bottle) on the trunk lid of my BMW. Left a small, deep dent that was in need of repair. I emailed Ron and he came out to my work to give a consultation. He was very professional and let me know that it would be difficult to remove a dent like this. He said he would try and if he was not happy with the progress, he would stop and not charge me for the repair. He gave it a shot, but as he warned, the dent had stretched the metal pretty badly. He called me in my office and let me know he wasn't confident he could get it out so he recommended a body shop (if I wanted it repaired that badly) and didn't charge me for anything. I appreciate his honesty and when I went out to look at the dent, it was a million times better than when he started. He also pulled another dent out that had been on the car when I bought it (no charge). Although he was unable to fix my dent, his professionalism is appreciated. He could have very easily charged me for getting the dent nearly out but it was clear he has pride in his workmanship. I will definitely use Ron in the future (although, hopefully not too often). read more

I asked Ron to visit to review the damage and initially he was confident doing so. After 30 min or so, he decides to leave the car and decides its too much work for him to perform as well as he needs "more opening" However after leaving the car cold, now hes mentioning it may not be repairable and hes "not sure" He did make the dent better than before but its not perfect. Plus on expensive car this wasnt tolerable. I would recommend cheap or lower end cars to be done for lease return but nothing more. Update: hes just not capable overall and actually made the damage worse. Other dent technician quoted $800-900 just to fix the mess that Ron created read more

When the business owner has been receiving so many 5-star reviews, there is a reason.... like everyone else, I called him today this afternoon around noon and left a message. Few hours later, I got his call back and explained to him what happened to my car which had two small dents. Although they are tiny, they do bother me a lots!! He offered me to meet up later in the evening at his location. We met and the price is extremely competitive. believe me. its nowhere other places can beat his pricing. I went to get cash and less than 30 mins, my car is back as IF NEVER HAD A DENT BEFORE. I guess this review is enough to validate his professional and perfect work. He is on my contact list now. Thanks Ron read more

One of the guys at Selecta auto body (who were super awesome and friendly, BTW) highly recommended Ron at DentTech for paintless dent repair. For the uninitiated: paintless dent repair is a technique that works on dents that are minor enough that they haven't led to significant paint damage on the car. They apply suction or something using some special tool set. Anyway, I contacted Ron over email and made an appointment for him to look at my car. He did an estimate and the work right on the spot, in under 45 minutes, for $150 for three dents, two of which were right next to one another, and the largest of which was about the size of a quarter. Not that I want more dents on my car, but if I get them I'll give Ron a call. read more

Ron is solid, Great guy and great work! Came right away and took less than an hour to get the job done. Highly recommend!

Well, it's been a long time since we've had to call up Ron for some help--lucky for us that means safe driving and no accidental bumps or scrapes--but just last week our new car received a pretty solid dent in a really bad place: right along the molding crease between the window and door handle! And to make matters worse, the body of our car is made of soft metal, so popping the dent right back out was no option! It looked like there was no way this one was going back to normal again... Enter DentTech! Ron answered our call and came right out to put his skills to work. (He even remembered us from 2 years ago!) He evaluated our whole car, took a look at a couple of other dents we had picked up along the way, and gave us two reasonable quotes for taking out only the major dent or taking out all of them. Ron acknowledged that it would be a tough job with the soft metal, but that he would try his best. Ultimately, we decided to just go with taking care of the big molding-crease dent. About an hour or so passes by, and Ron signals that he's finished and to come take a look at the result. Lo and behold, that major molding-crease dent is GONE! He knocked it right out of the park! (Definitely NOT an easy task by any means!) And ON TOP of that, he took care of a few of those other dents as well out of the goodness of his own heart! Incredible! To say we are satisfied with Ron's hard work and generosity would be a gross understatement--we are extremely pleased with all of the work he's done for us (on two very different cars, very different jobs) and couldn't be happier to give him our business in the future! read more

This IS your mobile dent removal aficionado in the San Francisco, Bay Area, hands down. Ron came out and saved my brand new 2018 BMW M4 with ease. He also came out the SAME day, on a Monday no less! Most shops needed days or longer and some even asked me to come to them...I though this is mobile dent repair? Key word: mobile. Amazingly fast service. More details: I had a nasty dent right on the body line which many other dent repair shops in the Bay Area refused to do (or gave me a 50/50 success rate at best). One shop even suggested re-painting the entire door for this dime sized dent. Seriously? Ron completely erased the ding, I am thoroughly impressed.
