    Before and after

My car had a dent on the right front fender just above the wheel well and along a curved styling crease. The insurance company sent Tino, owner and Master Craftsman of Dents B' Gone. Tino De La Cruz was right on top of the job from scheduling the appointment to finishing the work. His level of Service was so high, I felt like I was in a time warp, going back to the good old days, when personal service was great and real. He removed the dent like it was never there. Great pleasure to have met

Tino removed a good size dent the size of a basketball it seemed like out of the bedside on my GMC Sierra.

We also got a tour of the shop. It was interesting to learn that they restore vintage cars and invested in new machinery to ensure color matching of the paint. We'll definitely be coming back here for any future repairs.

They responded quickly when I called, and the staff was friendly, patient, and answered all my questions. It took about five weeks to get my car back, but I'm happy with the results. The work looks great, and I appreciate that they offer a lifetime warranty on the paint. However, communication was lacking. I was told by email that I would receive updates, but I never received any. The shop only called once, about two weeks in, to say they were ordering parts. After that, I had to follow up each time to check the status. I was told my car would be ready Friday at the earliest, but definitely by Monday, which was accurate. When I called on Monday, I found out the car was finished but couldn't be released until they received proof of payment from my insurance. I only learned this because I called. After several calls between me, the shop, and my insurance company, the payment was confirmed and I was able to pick up my car. Overall, the quality of work is great, but communication could definitely be improved.

I took this car to this body shop twice for both upgrades; one for the bumper and lip and the other for the trunk and wing. Galaxy Auto Haus did a great job for all aspects of the upgrade, from paint matching to panel fitment. I really can't tell that the paint on the bumper, trunk, and body are not from the same painting run; the color match on these panels is that good. Pricing was pretty fair and Honorio was very meticulous when it came to getting all of the details right. If I have another kind of project for a car like this, I know that these guys will get it done right.

UPDATE: It's fascinating how some people can lie straight to…read moreyour face. I never said this job should cost only $200-$300. What I said was that it would take approximately 2-3 hours to respray a bumper that is already removed and disassembled, and that only requires scuffing with a Scotch-Brite pad to create proper adhesion before spraying. Second, your estimator attempted to upsell full respraying of both fenders on a practically new 2024 Mazda CX-5 for $1,600, so please don't claim the quote was based on the vehicle's condition or imply that it is in poor shape. The car is literally new. This is a classic upselling tactic--you wouldn't even fully respray the panels; you would blend them and increase your profit at an astronomical price. The bumper itself requires virtually no preparation and at most 6-7 coats with 5-minute flash times, so my 2-3 hour estimate was generous. At the midpoint, I stated that $100 would go toward materials such as paint and clear coat. That figure is based on what I can purchase it for myself, as I received several quotes. I am not buying in bulk or leveraging large volumes the way you do, so my estimate is not far from reality. It's a small bumper overall. As for spray booth time--you don't have one, and you would never rent one for a job this small. An important detail: I know how to paint and understand exactly how this work is done. Overall, I requested an online quote first and sent photos in advance. That request was dodged. Instead, I was pushed to come in person--so additional, unnecessary labor I never asked for could be "found" to justify the price. Lastly, I never said the bumper was painted twice. It was professionally painted, but the pearl component did not turn out to my liking. I came to your shop because you claimed you had matched this color before, yet your estimator was unable to name a single model you had matched it on. Nor did you provide any proof that you were capable of doing so. I don't mind paying extra for work that has already been done correctly, but after seeing these tactics and reading outright false statements, I'm glad I walked away. The "obstacles" your estimator tried to create included: 1. Searching for minor hairline scratches to justify repainting two additional panels on a new vehicle 2. Claiming shops don't like it when parts are already prepped or disassembled 3. Taking photos to point out alleged color differences between panels on a new car

When I got my car back, in only two days, I couldn't believe my eyes. The paint tech did the equivalent of a magic trick in matching the factory color, taking the age of the car into consideration. It now looks better than it did when I bought it from the original owners. I still can't believe it and have been showing it off whenever I get the chance. Alex is a pro, a pleasure to deal with and went above and beyond in terms of service and communication. My thanks to him and his team, particularly his paint tech. The Sun in California does damage to cars after a few years to the hood and trunk area. I was checking to see whether it was worth doing. I talked to some friends and they thought that I should just go ahead and get an estimate. I had heard of caliber Collision when I lived in the Cerritos area a few years ago. They had a great reputation. I made an appointment for a consultation and estimate. I talked with Alex and decided on a course of action. He thought I would be pleased with the results if he would repaint the hood. I decided to make an appointment to have the work done. I dropped my car off on the designated day. He figured it would take from 3 to 5 days depending upon weather conditions. When I received the call that the car was finished, I wasn't sure what to expect when I stopped in to pick it up. I was absolutely amazed my old car looked better than it did when I purchased it. I was not the first owner. I walked around the car and told them how happy I was with the service that I received. I could tell immediately I was dealing with a 'normal' business owner that would prove to me that he wasn't some one trying to make a fast buck, or lay some sales pitch on me how it's going to be some outrageous amount. I'm not sure how to put it in words well, but the bottom line is that I immediately felt I was dealing with an HONEST, and Considerate person who genuinely wished to help me and not find ways to gouge me in price nor the 'con' job of what needed to be done. In fact, he showed me how some of the body defects were in fact something that could be buffed out easily. All the other seven body shops had just tallied that area of concern as requiring well over a thousand dollars to 'repair' - when in fact, it was a simple buff and polish and gone, at well, well less that the thousands all the other shops had told me it would cost. What I've learned out of all these shops I had gone to, is that they will attempt to make you believe you need to pay thousands when often some of the 'defects' could be done at a huge fraction of the price. Could Steve had done what all these other body shops had? And got me for much more than what they all knew could be done for less?? But he didn't. That is HONESTY. That is INTEGRITY. That is a GOOD and FAIR businessman!!! He's ONE man that I would trust anytime to repair my vehicle, and would come back again and again. And, anyone that values honesty and integrity, coupled with excellent work and service, would never go anywhere else!
