I fixed my 2023 GMC 1500 truck at Westminster Collision Works LLC. I only went there because GMC cerritos recommended this place. I thought that they are good at fixing the truck like a dealer but it was totally not. It is just because their manager (accountant) has a some connection(a former colleague) with GMC cerritos manager. They are bad and not professional. After fixing the truck(two weeks later), I found that the bumper is shaking. I checked the inside of the bumper. Surprisingly, they forgot tightening the two bolts. Also, many clips inside were broken. When they removed the bumper cover, they just carelessly pulled it out. I had to bring my truck again. The mechanic didn't say 'sorry', instead, he kept said that GM trucks are not designed well but Toyota trucks are well designed. Remember! GMC cerritos recommend your place. But GMC cerritos should not. I believe that it is well designed or not, they should fix vehicles carefully. I hope it gives you guys an idea how they handle customer's vehicles. read more

Earlier this year a person with their head in their phone rear ended my Tesla Model 3. The damage was superficial, but Tesla wanted over $1200 to replace the whole bumper instead of repairing it. Obviously, the other person's insurance would take care of the whole thing, but when I got my check I thought, "why not shop around to see how much it would be to repair it?". I came across Minh at Westminster Collision Works and worked with him and Sonia to get a reasonable repair estimate. Now, not only does the bumper look like new and I have enough leftover for a round trip flight to Hawaii! The customer service was top notch. This is my 2nd visit to WCWs. I came back because the first visit left a great impression. My Lexus Rx 450h was scratched and dented from 2 different accidents in 2023 and 2024. I procrastinated on fixing it but finally brought car in for repair few months ago. Minh and his team did an awesome job fixing the problems, with car looking like nothing happened to it. I brought car back 2nd time for routine maintenance on car since apparently Minh has partnered with Lexus certified mechanic Jin (next door). Additionally, I also had scratches (again!) on same side of car from bumming into trash cans in tight alley! As before, I received stellar services from Minh and his team. Since the work would take several hours, Minh offered to drive me to Southcoast Plaza to pass the time. He also "buffed up" my car's scratches without charging me, after maintenance service was done. Car looked great after everything was done. Strongly recommend this body shop for any body work but also you can get mechanical work/tune ups etc with Minh's partner next door (Jin). So convenient! The lady in front office ensured me my services would be finished in 3 weeks. I did not receive my car back until 2 months because one of the parts was taking long to deliver. On top of that she assured me my whole car would be repaired. When picking it up my driver tint was not removed when asked and also the car was not painted whole as delivered. I asked them to remove the vandalism and they left the scratches still. She convinced me it would be all painted however after starting repairs the car she said the insurance did not cover it. She falsely brought my hopes up and promised everything to be fixed to get me trapped into working with them. They also failed to inform me about my tires needing repair so now my insurance case is closed and all my tires and wheels need replacement. I also want to make notice the day I picked up the car the lady asked me to sign a paper, threw me the keys and clocked out and left the premises. After inspecting the car we had questions and no one was there to help because she had left us. We tried asking other people and they were clueless because she was the one who worked with us. It felt upsetting because we input over $10k+ of services for them to make us sign a paper and kick us out. I would not recommend. read more

I only have positive and GREAT things to say about this business!! 5 stars for everything :) My boyfriend came across this body shop after an unfortunate event on the freeway. My Lexus RX 450h was sandwiched between two cars after a gentleman was "distracted" while driving and plowed into all of us on the freeway. I was devastated, I thought I had to buy a new car and was very stressed out about everything (back/neck pain, renting a car, missing work, waiting to see if my car was fixable, looking for body shops, etc). After looking on yelp & visiting multiple body shops we decided to go with Minh because of his work & communication. Minh was able to answer many questions, worked with what I wanted done, was extremely quick to respond back to questions via telephone or text, was patient, accommodating, honest, quick to fix my car, worked well with my insurance company, and in the end, was able to make my car LOOK and DRIVE better! I came to look at my car before it was completed and was so eager and excited to pick it up. Minh & his team were able to match the paint (Aurora Pearl White) and explained EVERYTHING that was done and needed to be fixed. I'm SO glad everything worked out in the end and my car was not only fixed, but feels like it drives better! I'm not sure if that's even possible after being sandwiched, but wow, AMAZING WORK!!! My Lexus IS350 got a cracked bumper cover from hitting object on the road that someone dropped . I shopped around for auto body shop and ultimately chose Westminster Collision Works based on friend's recommendation and the fact that this place specializes on Toyota/Lexus. I called the office number to ask for estimate and Minh personally gave me his cell number. I sent him the pictures of my damaged bumper and he gave me the estimate right away. I dropped off my car on Tuesday and it was ready by Thursday....2 days turnaround time!! My initial quote was for bumper and lower grille replacement but Minh was able to repair the lower grille so he didn't charge me for it, so my final price was lower than the initial quote! The work was excellent. He replaced my bumper cover, and restored and matched the paint to factory condition. Highly recommend this place especially if you have toyota/Lexus! Cash or checks only! Came back here to have my fiberglass bumper repaired and fixed after they did such a phenomenal job on my other car. Was VERY impressed. My bumper was torn to pieces and the paint was chipping off. Every shop told me that it was not repairable and I needed a new bumper. It was an aftermarket part that was no longer in production. It was coming off because it sits about an inch off of the ground and the bumps on the road eventually damaged it to what seemed to be beyond repair. Westminster Collision did nothing short of a miracle by repairing it and making it like new. Very talented technicians that were able to perfectly match the paint and put it back together. 12/21/17 update: over the past weekend I was driving and wasn't able to avoid road debris due to traffic flowing on both sides of me. Long story, short, I had dragged some debris beneath my front bumper underneath the bay that caused my bumper tabs to break. As I was removing the pieces from my car I noticed that my bumper was sticking out and no longer fitting correctly...who did I call? You bet, I called the team over at Westminster Collision Works! After speaking with Minh, he said to bring it on by so that they could take a look at how severe the damage was. After assessing the damage, Minh laid everything out to me on what needed to be done in order to get the bumper fitting back OEM like. Agreeing to what needed to be done, without hesitation, I asked if I could bring my vehicle in this next day to have it worked on. He stated that it would need only one day to be fully repaired and back on the road. Within 24hrs from dropping my car off, it is now back in my possession with the tabs correctly repaired and fitment is seamless again! I can't thank the team enough for all their excellent work on the repairs. To have it sanded down and resprayed as well as welding the tabs back together in 1 work day is remarkable!! Everything is as good as new again! A true honest business man and professional, Minh and his team has my utmost respect. I will continue to bring my car here for any body work necessary to get back on the road, as you should as well. Hands down I was frustrated prior with the work from the other body shop which I won't name, but the quality of material and work done to my Lexus far exceeds my expectations. There's a blatant difference from before where the bumper was a completely different white, Minh's team flawlessly executed their 3 stage paint job on my pearl white Lexus. The paint job on my front and rear bumpers resemble the paint job from the factory! Before I would look at my car and it would look as if there was a regular white bumper with the rest of the car being pearl white. Anyone who's an enthusiast or proud of their car would wince at the sight of this. No longer do I walk up embarrassed at the off here thanks to Minh and his amazing team of trained experts. On top of that, all the dings from other people's license plates were completely removed from the rear bumper and resurfaced and painted to match the OEM paint code to perfection. I have been seriously looking for a decent autobody shop in SoCal to have some work done on my car. First and foremost, I may be the pickiest of people, but I believe I should receive a quality of service and services rendered to my satisfaction. After all, I am paying with my hard earned money. With that being said, Minh and his team are not only friendly in their approach, but more than willing to get the job done correctly. They are very knowledgable in what they do and how they do it. Minh specializes on Lexus vehicles. Upon your visit to the shop you will probably see a handful of them. The paint has a lifetime limited warranty except certain items like roof spoilers, but Minh will make that clear before the work begins. Normal wear and tear do not count as a defect. Westminster also does an excellent job of cleaning the vehicles after the work has been completed. Not a lot of shops will take the time and effort to have the cars detailed or cleaned. I am more than satisfied with the quality of work performed on my vehicle and would recommend this place to anyone without hestation. I had damage done to a fender from a trip to big bear after snow chains on one side broke and flopped around the wheel well. I received some quotes on yelp and made some phone calls -- I got a fast and direct response from Minh who provided a good price and had great reviews on yelp. The shop is located a bit off the path, close to Westminster Mall just north of the 405 off of Goldenwest. The entrance is a bit hard to discern, as you drive to the back to find it. Everyone on his team I encountered was attentive and friendly. Kim was very helpful in getting everything set up. I had to leave my car for a few days, but that's common at a lot of auto body shops. Plan ahead and avoid any unnecessary issues. He ended up personally doing the work on my fender and had to custom mix the paint. He completed the work on time. The results were top notch and the fender looked excellent. The only problem was maybe a little too good, as it looked slightly newer than the rest of the car.
