He gave me all the options including cnc and a more budget friendly version manual fix, which he set the expectation up front that wont be as near perfect as cnc but for sure will be better. I went with the second option given just stock rim and will just get aftermarket wheels later. However, his cnc price per wheel is still really reasonable can't complain. The result is spectacular for a manual fix, can't even tell the old spots are there unless I stick my eyes few inches away. Well, once I dug into the process, saw that the work is warranted for a year, I figured I'd give them a shot. First, we had them do two aftermarket wheels which relatively minor damage. The result was pretty incredible. The wheels looked good as new and honestly, I couldn't remember where the blemishes were . Months later the wheels looked great. Today, we got four wheels on my wife's car done, all with curb rash to a varying degree and the result was great. The challenge today wasn't the damage, it actually wasn't super complex or extensive. It was the color. From the factory, the color is pretty unique, but the Dr. Wheel team got it pretty much exactly. A special shout out to Jonathan, who came out to our house twice and did a great job. Friendly, professional, thorough, and just an all around solid dude. Not that I hope to get more curb rash on any of our wheels (nor do I wish that for you!), but if we do, we will definitely go back to them. We've already referred them to a few neighbors.

Had an experience where a different local tire shop left a small dent on my wheel in Long Beach. I had no choice but to try Alex Tires. It was meant to be. I found a tire shop that can change my air valve stems and rotate my tires without having to worry if they'll dent or damage my wheels. I ended up getting the rest of my air valves replaced two days after from my first visit. I got all four tires rotated as well. They ended up finding a nail in one tire. I asked to get it patched which was $15. Speedy and quality service. Service cost was reasonable and affordable, especially when compared to the car dealers. Daniela was kind and helpful. Another reason why I'll be a returning customer. I'd recommend this shop to anyone that cares for their rims and that wants to save money. So for 3 air valve stem replacements, all 4 tire rotations, and a tire patch, was charged for $75.00 flat (cash). Though I live in Long Beach, I'll be making my trip here for all of my tire services. They also provide other services as well, give them a call.

Owen and Ultimate Autohaus are the absolute best mechanics you can get…read more At a separate independent mechanic, when I went in for an inspection about an intermittent grinding sound when turning, I was recommended ~$10,000 in repairs ranging in "urgency", including a $700 quote to fix the grinding noise. I went to Owen for a second opinion, and he independently found everything the other shop had found, but gave much better context about the time until the "urgent" fixes would be necessary's and the consequences of delaying them, and it turned out the fixes were hardly urgent. Not only did Owen give a great explanation and context for the issues listed, he was incredibly personable and a pleasure to talk to. Additionally, Owen was an expert on our BMW, and was able to fix the intermittent grinding (specifically a loose brake cable) noise for ~$250 parts and labor. Additionally, Owen was a superb help in regard to a repair on a used BMW iX I purchased, which needed a headlight replacement (~$5000 at dealer). With Owen's help and advice, I was able to get a replacement headlight and control module installed ~$1400 parts and labor. Without a doubt, Owen is the best mechanic I've ever used, and I would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone.

He left a red rag in my engine compartment he had been using. Why would I have a tshirt under my hood? He's insane to say this. I still have this red flag, and the police & my insurance company proved it was his. I smelled marijuana on him when he left, so he was stoned when he did my car. I don't think he deliberately left the rag in there, but he's deliberately lying. I know karma will come back on him. I still have the card he sent me apologizing for doing this. Then he had his sister pay off what my insurance company made him pay. I can prove all of this & still have all the evidence if anyone wants proof. He's a loser, liar who wouldn't even pay his own bill on this. I can prove that also. I am a true Christian & I pray he is punished for pretending to be a Christian. He's evil.
