She has been invaluable to me in both my business and my personal goal attainment. I have been so impressed with what she does that I am inviting my 20-something son to work with her. He has struggled to find how to avoid errors in judgement that set him back. He is also trying to figure out a career but doesn't really have a big picture of the possibilities. He is not open to counselors and he's pretty sick of hearing from his parents. Unitive Consulting is neither. I just know that Yvette's coaching will be the breath of fresh air that will help him set new directions for himself. Highly recommended!

The kids were loud and cause disruption while still waiting outside. They let people in while chewing gum and making so much chewing noise. I complained about this and my concern was met with a cold shoulder. The lady at the desk did not even take it serious and just smiled in a creepy way every time I brought it up. They take forever to get people to be checked in and out. If you are taking a test and is on a scheduled break, this center is a disaster and they will waste your exam time chatting and laughing with the kids while checking them in. I waited more than 40 mins to check in when it takes simply no more than 10 mins at every prometric I've been to. They had 3 employees and none gave a damn about the 10+ people waiting in line. Do not trust them to take your exams here. The manager clearly just wants money and crams a large number of people including kids inside. On top of it, their headphones are very cheap in quality and doesn't even go over the ear. There is no noise cancellation in them. While I was listening to audio during the test I could hear all the noise outside which caused me a major distraction. Everyone here is so lazy and walks slower than a sloth and doesn't appreciate or understand the seriousness of exams. Do not take your exams here. Someone needs to close this branch or make changes to the useless apathetic staff working here.

TLDR: Extremely disappointing experience. I encountered repeated ableist and disrespectful behavior…read morefrom staff, including being pressured into using disability accommodations I didn't ask for. On a separate visit, another staff member refused to scan me in until a fellow test-taker intervened. Staff also speak loudly enough to be heard from inside the testing rooms, and I've seen multiple people wait far past their scheduled test time due to disorganized check-ins. A few staff were kind, but overall, this location lacks professionalism, respect, and basic courtesy, especially toward people with disabilities. Sharing my experience both as a person with a disability and as a general test taker. First, I want to address the disability aspect. The only reason I used testing accommodations for my most recent exam was because I felt pressured into doing so--not because I personally wanted or needed them. During a prior visit, a staff member treated me with a complete lack of sensitivity and basic respect. She loudly and rudely told me to sign up for accommodations in front of others, as though it were a directive rather than a personal right. Her tone was dismissive and patronizing and she spoke in a way that implied accommodations would simply make things "easier" for the staff rather than for me. It's completely inappropriate to make assumptions based on someone's visible disability, and even more unacceptable to express those assumptions in a public and demeaning way. On the day I returned for my exam with accommodations, another woman on staff was so blatantly ableist that another test-taker actually had to intervene. She initially refused to scan me in for the exam and was only prompted to act when another test-taker, who witnessed what was happening, called her out and strongly insisted that she treat me fairly. Fortunately, the rest of the staff I interacted with were kind, respectful, and professional. Beyond that, there are general concerns with the center's environment and operations. The staff often speak loudly, so loudly that their voices can clearly be heard from inside the testing rooms, which is distracting for test-takers who are trying to focus. Additionally, although I haven't personally experienced this, I've witnessed multiple people waiting a long time, sometimes excessively long, to be checked in. That level of inefficiency adds unnecessary stress to what is already a high-pressure experience.

Important to note: This course is $9000 if you sign up early, $10,000 if you sign up later on (of which neither cut off date was listed), and ~$11,000 if you pay along the way. The actual company name is Trilogy Education Services, and they take part in UC extension programs (and I suspect it is to mask their intentions with the UC's good name). The staff enjoys to call themselves recruiters, when in actuality they are salespeople who employ methods that are very similar to that of a timeshare: persistence, half-truths, and condescension. I received multiple emails from the company, and phone calls about 2-3 times a week. Once they got a hold of me, I did express that I was interested, but unsure due to my schedule and time commitment. I was informed it is ~30hrs/week commitment. I figured that this could potentially fit into my schedule, and asked about th next part of the process. They sent me an assessment, which was alarming in how easy it was. Something interesting is that there are asterisks underneath every coding-specific question that reads "remember: you are allowed to use Google to answer any of these questions!" They also send a questionnaire about what type of person you are, and if you're a "good-fit" for their course. In reality, I think this is meant to be used to hold against you if you end up finding that it does not work out (which is what happened in my case, with my "recruiter" insinuating that I lied about my work ethic in response to me politely explaining that I would be willing to do the program later when my workload would allow for it). Based on her response, I can confidently say that I will not be contacting them again, as I had previously intended to. Overall, I have found that if you are being constantly pestered by a company, and then guilted after rejecting, then perhaps the company isn't as prestigious as they claim to be. You can teach yourself code for free online at Udemy, EdX, FreeCodeCamp, and CodeAcademy, to name a few. Just set the time for yourself and treat it like an appointment. If you are in the San Diego area, and prefer learning in a classroom environment, Grossmont Community College has well reviewed professors in the Computer Sciences almost entirely across the board. Save your $9000/$10,000 for a new car.

The process was clearly communicated, organized, with timelines established and follow up from DowEdu was exceptional. Personally, I was grateful to not have to figure out the timeline and many many deadlines or argue with my son to follow up and stay on track. I'm also extremely grateful I didn't have to help write, read or submit the so many essays that are needed for this.
