I received their mailer for a $50 teeth whitening today and wanted to take advantage of the deal. I spoke to a gentleman about redeeming it and he was super unhelpful once I told him that I have a regular dentist that I visit. Since I regularly have my teeth cleaned by a different office they won't honor their advertised price. They want you to go through all the hoops with their office. They didn't offer to have my records looked at/transferred to their office to show that the whitening "wouldn't be detrimental to my teeth". All he said was "just keep going to your dentist". One thing I can't stand is a coupon that is completely false advertisement. Also, a tip to the business... it's all about your delivery. They threaten patients over the phone with having to pay fees, which they quickly waive when they are called out on their bs. They enjoy hanging up on people, as it seems they want to get the last word in. They are condescending and you can hear their eye-rolling over the phone. Unlike the five other Dentists that I have been a patient of where I provide my name and information the name of my insurance carrier and they call and verify my coverages. The staff at Dentistry For You wants my to provide the information for them. I do not have a phone number for the carrier, no card is provided, I am not the one in the business, so maybe the other Dentist offices have spoiled me with friendly customer service. First and foremost, I am pleased with the cleaning I've had done here. Getting fillings for cavities and root canals are the worst. I believe this office hires unexperienced dentists or recent graduates. The assistants give you attitude and think they are above everyone, even above the doctors. That to me is very disturbing or shall I say disgusting! I want to go to a dental office where they treat you right and don't give you crappy attitude. I didn't get the name of the assistant but she is in her 20s late 20s maybe, Latino/Hispanic and looks as if she is miserable working there. The doctors are always in a rush to do your work. So, if something is not quite right or appears to be wrong the assistant will argue with you and tell you about how you don't know about dentistry as well as they do! It is unfortunate to say the manager on the front desk which her name I did get is Monica will take her nasty employees side and be absolutely rude about it. If that isn't enough she will make you pay twice out off pocket knowing they are at fault!!!! All and all I would definitely stay away from this place. This is by far the worst dental office ever, if I could rate is place a 0 out of 5 stars I most definitely would! I was initially overcharged by Monica. I went in to get a refund. Instead of refunding me for being overcharged. She said I missed two appointments and I was charged $50 per missed appointment with the money I was initially overcharged with. At first I thought I only had one appointment, right? $50 fee would've been fine, but $100. Why would someone schedule me for two appointments in one day? Anyway, instead of meeting me halfway...she said no I'm not getting my money back. I never wanted to look for another dentist. But Monica led me to which is unfortunate. Horrible customer service. I was refunded about $32 I was literally laughing at this dentist office at this point. She cared more about the $100 then keeping a returning client happy. Also, when I asked for a copy of my receipt, Monica snatched the papers from my hand to make a copy. If I wasn't initially overcharged, or even met halfway with at least a refund of $50 or more, they would've still had my business. I have great insurance and paid upfront. Their loss. read more

I bought a Groupon for this place and initially called and made an appointment. I ended up accidentally going to the wrong office and there was someone named Monica there that was working who was extremely rude and said that I have come to the wrong place and she didn't let me reschedule. I called back and got rescheduled and then they called to change the appointment again. A couple days later they called and said they wanted to change the appointment back to the original date and they were so rude and mean about it that I decided to cancel the Groupon and trade it in altogether. Monica is nasty rude and has no customer service skills whatsoever. I was referred to this office, it was worth the drive from Peoria. The fillings I had done gave me no issues, no sensitivity as I usually have in the past. Not having insurance, they worked with me so I was able to get my fillings done at a cost that was more than fair and less expensive than expected. I've continued my cleanings as well as my kids. Oh my goodness!!! The dentist was awesome! The hygienist was awesome!! However because of the rude man they have working their front desk I've decided to go to a different dentist. I would have gladly stayed with this group but due to the frustration the front desk guy caused and how he spoke so unprofessionally and rude I found another dentist. Dr America and the staff were amazing. I hate going to the dentist because it is never good news for me and it always hurts. They were thorough, careful, and very transparent. They walked me through all of my options and took great care of my emergency issue. I do have some other stuff that needs to get done and they showed me all of the pricing and costs. If they took this good of care of me just off the street then I believe the quality of care would only get better. I can't remember a less painful, literally and financially, trip to the dentist. This practice is a joke. Has completely no regards for other people's time. My appointment was scheduled for 9:15am and when I arrive 10 mins early, the front desk gal named Monica rudely ask me why I was there. I told her and she said the doctor won't be in til 9:30am. So I ask her why schedule me at 9:15am then? She said it wasn't her problem because she didn't schedule me but the other office did. She asked me if I'm going to wait and I told her I drove 45 mins to get here so yes. When I was finally seated and questioned my portion of payment, the doctor has no idea so she had Monica come explained to me. Because of our confrontation earlier, she said I ruined her day so she was short and extremely rude to me. I have never experienced such awful service ever. If I could rate this office a zero I absolutely would. My husband and I used to see Dr Lee before she left and we had no problems with her or her office staff. I have had nothing but problems, specifically billing my insurance for the actual services rendered, and this is causing me issues months and months later. I came in for a cleaning and they were unable to do it due to periodontal issues. Ok, fine, whatever. They did take 4 X-rays, and not a full mouth X-ray. Buuuut they billed my insurance for a full mouth X-ray. And now, working both with a periodontist and a different general dentist practice I can't get the full mouth X-ray that I need because one has been billed to my insurance already in the specified time period (36 months?). I've been back and forth between this office and my insurance company, hopefully it's been taken care of by now. Even after they said they had resubmitted a correction to my insurance they had done it incorrectly, requiring more time on the phone with my insurance to try to make it right. At any rate, avoid this practice like the plague, unless you really like talking to your insurance company and fixing other people's mistakes. read more

Wendy is the best thing that has happened to me in a very long time. Wendy was able to help me have my teeth so clean!! I had tartar that other dentist office weren't able to get ride off. I live in Los Angeles but I fly out just to come here and see Wendy because Wendy really takes the time to clean my teeth even if there is a lot of customers waiting. My dentist in Beverly Hills disappointed me with my last teeth cleaning after telling him that I still had tartar he ignored me and said that he couldn't remove it because he would hurt my enamel, the reality is that he didn't care and from now on I will come see Wendy because she really takes the time to analyze each teeth and remove what doesn't need to be there while taking her time and not making me feel rushed to get me out. Wendy was able to remove the tartar that my previous dentist couldn't, I highly recommend Wendy, she is the real deal and what no other hygenist was able to achieve with me, Wendy was able to. I highly recommend Wendy to anyone, she is nice, caring, very knowledgeable and honest!!! Thank you Wendy you deserve the best!! read more

Run from this place. They are very accommodating in some ways and cheap. Sam never gets appointments correct. I had a cleaning scheduled 6 months in advance and he called me a few days before saying they weren't gonna be open that day even though I made the appointment 6 months ago and I work 6 days a week so I only get one day off a week because I have to care for 94 horses so it's hard for me to fit appointments in. I told him it's okay if I can't get in no big deal didn't want to qualm about it. The woman up front I think her name is Monica is very rude. Her and Sam are always saying two different things and are never on the same page. My mother is the main account holder and is in charge of payments. I have never signed a paper or agreement stating that I am to make payments so tell me how Sam can threaten to send me and my 14 year old brother to collections when I haven't signed any agreement or paper about payment. The payments aren't supposed to come out till the 15th and they are calling me on the 7th about one missed payment last month. My mother and myself have told Sam not to call me and he still harassed me. I can sue for harassment based on the law because we have stated not to call me regarding billing more than once from myself and my mother I was very frustrated over the phone with him because Sam has messed up appointments, even over charged us, been rude, etc and Sam said to me "I expect an apology from you." at the end of our conversation. Sam is a child. He made me and my mother write a good review on Yelp just to extend a payment. That tells you how bad their business within itself. Not a good business owner or manager or whatever title he is to have the audacity to say that. I will not be going back for any services because I do not want to deal with it. I will go elsewhere.
