I paid $2.5-3k for "unlimited trays" to correct this one tooth. After using countless trays over years, the tooth barely moved. The communication at this office is incredibly poor. Most of the orthodontic assistants didn't speak English, and my Spanish isn't strong enough to bridge the gap. Every appointment, they'd check my teeth, hand me a new set of trays, and send me on my way. No updates, no explanations. Just silence. After completing all my trays, they asked "Are you happy with the results?" No.. the tooth that brought me here in the first place was still crooked. About three YEARS into treatment, they decided to put a bracket on the tooth, which also did nothing. After seeing that the original issue still wasn't resolved, they agreed to take new impressions to create a new batch of trays. Then... nothing. Months passed. I called, only to be told that if I wanted to continue, I'd have to pay again. So to recap... I paid $3,000 to fix one tooth. It's still crooked. And now they want me to pay more? Absolutely not. I would not recommend this office to anyone. The lack of care, follow-through, and basic communication is unacceptable.

They started with three fillings, but the procedure was very unprofessional. They drilled large holes in my molars, causing sensitivity in that area and making it difficult for me to properly chew with those molars. The dental hygienist and Anna, the manager that helped me when things escalated in the end, are the only positives: they are both truly outstanding, empathetic, and excellent at their jobs. The practice is clearly focused on money, not patient care. This morning's call exposed this perfectly: when I called to clarify a supposed "cavity," I learned they were actually pushing for a crown without any real medical justification or explanation. When I tried to understand the proposed treatment, receptionist Dania was incredibly dismissive and unhelpful. I was baffled by her lack of care. Between the constant, unjustified upselling and the poor administrative service, it's clear the patient is not the priority here. Also, the high staff turnover is a big issue: I've rarely seen the same dentist twice, which compromises continuity of care. Finally, getting my patient records transferred was deliberately difficult. It took four emails, three phone calls and I ultimately had to reference my HIPAA rights before they would release my records. This administrative obstruction clearly shows their resistance to letting patients seek care elsewhere. I'm moving my business to a more empathetic dental office in Coral Gables. Do better.

Not cool, I ended up NOT being reimbursed $150 out of MY pocket, due to their lack of due diligence! If it was their money, they would have known; and they didn't even do a fully covered cleaning, just the x-rays $150 (not covered - too soon, 36 mos with Cigna) and an oral exam $150 (covered). Waste of time. They say parking is validated, but you have to call from the parking lot and have them tell the parking attendant. Or you might be able to get your money back on your way out, again - YOU PAY up front. My car got a huge hit - smashed in the bumper in their lot. UGH! Surprise times two. Damaged the headlight, that will have to be repaired. More money. The dental technicians are nice, just have to get past the parking lot and the front desk. And have extra money!

I recently removed my wisdom teeth with Dr.Escofet and had a speedy recovery. The first day I went and got evaluated, we spent around 2 hours talking with the Doctor 1 on 1 because I had many questions and he took his time to answer all of them. I didn't feel rushed as I usually do in other doctor's offices. I was nervous for the procedure but I was constantly checked up on and knew I was in good hands. Everything was explained to me to the point that I felt calm and knew what was going to happen next. I would recommend him to anyone! Never have a I met someone who cared so much about his patients. He is patient and kind. His staff is the kind that remember your name and your stories. I will be coming back regularly even though it is 30 mins away from my house. It is worth it!
