I've been a patient for years and I have seen many staff changes over the years; it seems to mirror many of the unacceptable patient experiences that are occurring. The Cross Keys location has become a disaster and is poorly and unprofessionally managed. Go to the Eldersburg or Columbia location, or leave Dental One completely if this type of management is allowed.

I left and immediately called another dentist from the parking lot As if I needed another reason to not go back this dentist, they sent me a bill for the xrays - normally insurance 100% covers X-rays, cleanings, exams etc - I've never paid for a dental xray in my life - I talked to my insurance and they said that this office gave me a panoramic xray which is only covered every three years and I had one the previous year. When I asked the office why they gave me another one they said they didn't have the one from my previous dentist because I didn't give it to them and I said they never asked for it. They told me if I booked online I wouldn't have known to ask my dentist but if I called them someone would have told me. Like ok it's my fault for booking online???? Additionally, they're supposed to check insurance ahead of time and be aware of coverage and costs. I've never been so dissatisfied with a dentist office in my life.

Dr. Kuzmack himself came out to the waiting area to greet me and to offer me a bottle of water. That definitely helped take the edge off. He explained everything to me before he began the procedure. I always brace myself for the initial needle stick and deep burning that follows from the Novocaine... However to my surprise Dr. Kuzmack pulls out a device that he uses in conjunction with the needles that massages your gums during injection which helped to alleviate any pain! I was totally taken back that I did not feel ANY pain the entire procedure. No pain from the needle or the root extraction.
