I've been a patient for years and I have seen many staff changes over the years; it seems to mirror many of the unacceptable patient experiences that are occurring. The answer for the poor customer service... "please call the office manager directly". Who do you call when they are the problem?! The Cross Keys location has become a disaster and is poorly and unprofessionally managed. Go to the Eldersburg or Columbia location, or leave Dental One completely if this type of management is allowed.

When I asked the office why they gave me another one they said they didn't have the one from my previous dentist because I didn't give it to them and I said they never asked for it. They told me if I booked online I wouldn't have known to ask my dentist but if I called them someone would have told me. Like ok it's my fault for booking online???? Additionally, they're supposed to check insurance ahead of time and be aware of coverage and costs. I've never been so dissatisfied with a dentist office in my life.

I was very nervous about the visit because I had two broken teeth with only the roots left in my gums. Upon my arrival I was meant by a warm and welcoming staff. Dr. Kuzmack himself came out to the waiting area to greet me and to offer me a bottle of water. That definitely helped take the edge off. He explained everything to me before he began the procedure. I always brace myself for the initial needle stick and deep burning that follows from the Novocaine... However to my surprise Dr. Kuzmack pulls out a device that he uses in conjunction with the needles that massages your gums during injection which helped to alleviate any pain! I was totally taken back that I did not feel ANY pain the entire procedure. No pain from the needle or the root extraction. She offered to see me again but only out-of-pocket since they no longer take my insurance. I've since looked at the reviews and realized I'm not alone so many people have experienced poor communication, surprise bills, and subpar care.
