Saint Michael Dental Center is not the strongest dental practice in the area. While the office offers convenient evening hours and can be easier to get appointments with, my multi-year experience with Dr. Bromley revealed significant concerns about the quality of care.
During my past visits, I received full-mouth X-rays (a series of approximately 30 images) when needed. However, on the very same day as a complete full-mouth series, the office routinely insisted on taking an additional 8 additional bitewing X-rays. These extra images were completely unnecessary since the full set should was already taken. This simply serves primarily as an opportunity to bill insurance for more procedures.
Recently, after moving and switching to a new dentist, just a couple of targeted X-rays revealed a large cavity that had gone undetected despite years of extensive imaging at Saint Michael Dental Center. This raises serious questions about whether the team thoroughly reviews the radiographs or simply gives them a quick 4-6 second glance before declaring "no issues." I simply question their ability to read x-rays, why take them if x-rays are not going to be looked at.
If you're only looking for a basic cleaning, this office may be adequate. However, if you want a reliable dental home with thorough diagnostics and attentive care, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. read more
