I was blown away by the team, the care and genuine compassion from the team at Woodland Family Dentistry. From Patti at the front desk, to tech Suzie to Dr Dewolf Felices, I really couldn't believe how comfortable I felt there. I have NEVER felt so strongly about writing a review about really anything that is how happy and pleased I have been with my experience here.

This was, without question, the worst experience I have ever had at a dental office…read more This was my first visit, and I was there for routine X-rays before a cleaning. The individual taking the X-rays was extremely rough throughout the procedure. The bite block was repeatedly jammed and forced into my mouth, causing significant discomfort. In addition, I do not believe the sensor was properly covered by the protective barrier because I could feel every sharp edge of the sensor against the floor of my mouth. What was most concerning was that instead of carefully removing the entire bite block assembly, the sensor cable was repeatedly pulled out of my mouth. The experience became so painful and unprofessional that I got up and left before the appointment could be completed. I expect that my insurance will not be billed for a cleaning that was never performed. I will be contacting my insurance company to file a complaint, as well as submitting a complaint to the Minnesota Board of Dentistry. There is absolutely no reason a patient should leave an X-ray appointment in pain. I am now dealing with a cut on the floor of my mouth as a result of how this procedure was handled

I had never had one before, and had no idea what to expect. On top of that, I have some pretty intense dental phobia from bad past dental experiences, so I usually take Valium the night before and morning of dental procedures. NGL, it was not my favorite way to spend a morning, but he and his staff were so caring and patient, they made the experience easier than I ever would have imagined. So I am going to stick with this Dentist office, even though scheduling time for cleanings is nearly impossible if you miss an appointment. I had some significant dental issues due to lack of proper oral hygiene over many years, and the outlook was poor. My pervious dentist wanted to perform significant oral surgery involving cutting off the gums, stitches and more. Hence my delay in addressing the issue. Dr. H provided a modern alternative, laser surgery that was far less invasive, less painful and very successful. She gave me my healthy smile back, and I have been under her care every since! Modern Equipment, Latest Technology, and while you are sitting in the chair, you can even watch your own TV, and get this, the patient chairs even have message functions. It's like going to the spa - but for your mouth :) Recently, my mother (in her 80's) had an issue with her upper denture and was told by several dental offices, without even being seen, that because of the age of her dentures, she would likely need new ones, and the cost would be anywhere from $10,000 on up. I reached out to my dentist, Dr. H, who was heading out of town (that day) for a well deserved vacation. She made time to see here before her departure at her Apple Valley location. Now that's service!! She was able to determine a repair was in fact possible and had them repaired for a small fraction of the high cost of new dentures. I could go on, but I can't say enough good things about Zane Dental / Elite Dental
