I am new to the area and tried this office as they accepted my insurance. I strongly urge to ask lots of questions when making an appointment at this DDS office. I called to make an appointment for a 6 month "cleaning." I was never asked if I had current films. When I arrived I was put in a chair and the assistant immediately starting taking X-rays of my teeth. I told her I didn't want them and that I had some taken recently as I get my teeth cleaned every 6 months. The dental assistant stated it was part of their service and required for my exam that day. I even mentioned that I thought she was unnecessarily exposing me to radiation and that I could have my films emailed to them. The assistant told me that they were the doctors and that the patient doesn't get to dictate their own care. At the time Of my appointment I was made to feel incompetent of my own dental care and dental processes. When I received my bill my insurance didn't cover the films as they had already paid for a set of films this year. I don't feel that my care was designed around my own health, but was a templated experience designed around what my insurance would pay for. I won't be returning this Dentist office. read more

The worst customer service I have ever had anywhere. The Dentists and Oral Hygienist are great, however you have to get to them. The ladies up front are some of the rudest and plain nasty people we as a family have ever dealt with. They truly think the office is theirs (as in they are the reason you are coming in), instead of the other way around. If they feel that able to treat people as rudely as they do, it must be allowed and encouraged. There are a million dentists out there, don't waste your time and money on these guys. Perhaps then when no one shows up, they will fire the ladies up front and get people that care about the customer, and treat them with the respect you deserve. Not just drool over your insurance money. My new dentist said that they get most of their customers from those people who have had it with G2. Good deal for them, probably not so much for G2. 01/07/16...updated. These guys haven't improved with age. Instead to try to counteract this review they posted 6 fake reviews that were 5 star. Look at the dates in the not recommended reviews they are all a few months after I posted mine. 5 were deleted by yelp, the other is the Laura review you see below. How sad they cannot find actual customers to make them sound better, but that should tell you something about them. And yes Penny, whose relative works the front desk, I am talking about them, and they know exactly who I am, ask Jabba the Hutt who has the side office. read more

I am new to this area so I went to have my teeth cleaned. They took my blood pressure God knows why because I don't see why the blood pressure is important for them to practically floss and brush your teeth. Apparently 130/80 was to high so they refused to clean my teeth. Of course my blood pressure was not high for them to want to take a full set of X-rays (less work and more money). Very disrespectful towards the fact that I took time off from work and of course they couldn't care less about the inconvenience. I went to the dentist before but nobody took my blood pressure for a stupid cleaning. I will not return to this practice. By the way, they charge more than other dentists for similar services (probably because they take your blood pressure ...LOL) read more

Horrible first and last experience. Went in with a chipped molar and they put in a temporary filling due to it being Friday. I found that funny even though I was in the chair at 10 AM that they had to wait till Monday to completely fix it. I walk out of the dentist office a little confused about the fact that they put in a temporary filling. Got home three hours later the temp filling came out. Because the temporary filling also included the drilling that needed to be done from the chip tooth I was in pain the whole weekend and was told to wait until Monday. Monday came around I showed up for my 10 AM appointment and they did not have me on the schedule and wanted me to wait until Tuesday. Went down the street to a local dentist who fixed it on the spot no excuses no waiting no more pain. G2 dental is not recommended read more

Excellent experience. If you are apprehensive about dentists you won't be here. I've been to many dentists over the years and this is a refreshingly good experience compared to others in my travels. Dr Harvey and his staff are first rate. This is not a fake review like a previous patient might suggest. I came in with a cracked filling repair that didn't take the first time but they got me back in very promptly to get it corrected and it's been fine ever since. read more

My family has been going to this dentist for probably 6 years. We loved our dentist (Dr. Wynea) and she always treated us kindly - as did all of the dental assistants. They were always good to us. But recently my husband had a dental emergency, and when we called they turned us down. Their reason? They had to write of a *35$* dollar balance in 2013. When I questioned why they would turn us down over 35$ bill from two years ago that I don't recall getting a bill for, I offered to pay it today no problem. They STILL said no, and that we would have to talk to an office manager on Monday to have the "hold" removed from my *entire families account*. I told her that if she wasn't willing to see my husband today, then I would be switching my entire family to another dentist. To which she replied "If that's your choice". I called another dentist, who was able to fit us in, and we will be going there from now on. Moral of the story - if your willing to put up with rude office workers that don't bill claims right and have zero customer service. Then by all means go here. The dentists and their assistants are great. But be prepared for a billing nightmare. read more

The dentists and hygienists are very good. The administrative staff are terrible. Unfortunately they ruin this business and won't ever get my business in the future. I would never recommend using this business to my friends or family. Don't ever waste your time or money on this office there are many better ones to choose from. read more

Wow, Cecil, you must be talking about someone else. I have been going to G-2 Dental for almost 20 years and have never had a bad experience from the gals up front to every dentist there! EVERYONE is very friendly and professional. They explain everything up front, make sure you are aware of what the procedure is and what it will cost you, they get everything sent in to the ins. company before hand so you are not surprised in the end with a big bill. You know where you stand with this office. And they do great work! I highly recommend G-2 Dental to anyone who is looking for a new dentist. read more
