Dishonest and wouldn't recommend. I checked to make sure Droel Family Dentistry was in-plan and…read morethey were. When I went and have my teeth cleaned (which is preventative care and free for in-plan dentists) I was charged. When I called to ask, they just dropped United Heathcare a week prior to my appointment and failed to mention this when I gave them my insurance card at the beginning of my appointment. I then got a piece of mail a week later saying I could pay for a membership and would get the in-plan pricing. Money hungry and unethical. DO NOT GO HERE FOR YOUR DENTAL NEEDS. Save yourself money and a headache.

I wish I could write a zero-star review for Droel Family Dentistry…read more They were kind enough to send three text reminders for my last scheduled appointment beginning about a week in advance. I responded with a request to cancel my appointment due to my dental insurance expiring. Laine, the Practice Manager, responded to my cancellation request to say that Droel "always verifies benefits/eligibility before your scheduled appointment" (with many typos). She also specifically told me that I am covered for the next ~8.5 months based on the Delta Dental benefit calendar. She ended her text with "You are definitely eligible to come in :)" About a month after my appointment, I was again contacted via text to say that "the plan we had on file seems to have terminated which has left a pretty hefty balance on your account" of over $1,000. This is extremely frustrating given what I mentioned above. I trusted Droel to be the experts on dental insurance coverage since it is something they deal with on a daily basis, but instead I'm left wondering if they are dishonest or downright predatory toward their patients on purpose. Despite their negligence on this issue, they refused to offer me any sort of concession on my balance due, and even threatened to send it to a collection agency. On top of this, their quality of care is severely lacking. Wait times are extremely long for any sort of procedure beyond a routine cleaning, which leads me to believe that the doctor, Andy is stretching his practice too thin. I've also had to have multiple follow-up visits to fix sharp edges and uneven fillings, further reinforcing that Droel only cares about volume and not patient satisfaction. While I'm fortunate enough to be able to just pay this balance and avoid any further conflict, I'm afraid that this is not an isolated issue with Droel Family Dentistry, and that their subpar level of care could lead to a significant financial burden for others. I hope this review does something to combat that. Neither I nor my family will be returning to Droel Family Dentistry for any future dental care needs.

Dealing with two different companies for any reason can be a frustrating experience however, the people Twin Cities Endodontics have been very helpful with my busy work schedule and exceptionally accommodating to my situation. I have to say that I have hated going to the dentist since I was a kid, but my experience with these guys has actually restored the appreciation, comfortability, trust that I was lacking. So with that said, I would recommend this place to anyone in need of dental work "root canal" especially, to give these guys a try.

Believe me, root canals aren't easy! Imagine snaking a .6mm clogged drain, upside down, looking through a mirror. Not to mention people are terrified of getting root canals, but the horror stories you hear are of the toothache that made you need one, not the actual procedure. Yes, we dentists are creepily noisy, it's hard holding your mouth open, etc, but the procedure was completely painless and afterwards, I had some nice hot coffee, and later some ice water, forgetting that I no longer had to contort my tongue to cover up my previously painful tooth! I smiled and said a silent thank you to Dr. Zucker and team!! Now I'm shouting it out on Yelp.
