these dentists were very good and helpful. I had 2 years of dental issues and as Tring as was for me these people were able to help me through it. dental issues are now better. They have very high-tech equipment, and this is very new and impressive. Tooth x-rays were so much easier with this new tech. it was really fascinating to see how this new tech is, that is an experience in itself. Doctor Ly and his staff are very professional and kind. I went in and at first I was excited. They told me I needed 9 fillings which I believed because it had been almost 10 years since I've seen a dentist. None of my teeth hurt when I chew except when I ate anything sweet. I had gum bleeding. They told me my gum bleeding could be fix once I got my teeth cleaned and start flossing and keeping up with teeth cleaning every 6 months. They were able to get my teeth clean that same day! I scheduled my 1st appointment to start working on getting fillings. I left feeling confident with the place. To do all my fillings it would be two appointments. The 1st one I noticed the fillings felt very rough on my teeth and sharp edges on my teeth. My bite was also off. My left side would touch when I bite down but my right side didn't. And there was A LOT of pain when I try to chew on that side. I could not floss between my teeth. When I went in for my 2nd appointment I told the denist about these issues. He checked the tooth and said everything looked fine and continued to do fillings on my right side. Now i cannot chew on either side and I'm in constant pain. I never had pain in my mouth before. I went to a different dentist office and had them check all my fillings. You know it's bad when I hear the dentist tell his assistant "this sh*t p*sses me off, what they did to her teeth" My upper left side was so over filled with white filling they had to shave it down and then use a little saw to saw between my teeth so I can floss again. He rounded out the edges of my teeth so it felt like a normal tooth and polish the tooth. Now it doesn't hurt as bad. My other fillings were so small and shallow some already came loose and that's why I feel pain. Now I have to pay out of pocket to have all my fillings redo. He told me I could practice my patients rights and have them redo it but I will not be going back to PL dental after what they did to me! Instead I will be making a report to the state of Minnesota and other sources. It's absolutely sickening what this dentist did to my teeth. My tongue has been getting cut because of how sharp my teeth are and all my fillings aches with pain. I never feared the dentist until now. I regret ever going here. read more

Went in for a regular cleaning. First visit. I can't say I've ever had a dentist go,  oh these items need to be fixed,  but since some other dentist did the work years ago,  I won't touch it. Seriously,  that's your job. To fix teeth. The dentist actually perfomed the cleaning,  not assistants. I have never had a teeth cleaning hurt so bad in my life. I ended up with bruises on my face. The dentist really needs to learn a more gentle touch and not one that leaves bruises. read more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE I had the worst experience with this PL dental office. My insurance referred me to go this dental clinic, and the receptionist that was there on the first day, she was amazing. I told DR. Phong Ly that I want my wisdom teeth to be removed, and he suggested one of my front teeth to implant, and he said my insurance wouldn't cover it a bit. DR. Phong Ly said it will cost $4000. I laughed and told him that I can't afford to do now, and just leave it like that. I told him I was told many times by dentists to do something about it for 7 years. He said it's up to me, if I want to keep it. I told him I want to keep it because it doesn't hurt and it doesn't bother me at all. I wanted to schedule my 4 wisdom teeth to be removed, and they added to fill in another two teeth without asking me first. And when I asked what all those numbers they said since I'm gonna be numb it's better if they do the fillings. They were kinda rushing me, and I just said okay. With no other explanation. I was kinda still confused how they will do the wisdom extraction. It was my first time any of my teeth were removed and I never witnessed anybody that had done it before. I was hoping to get more explanation by email or when I arrive for my appointment. When I arrived at my appointment, there were two receptionists and they gave me 4 page papers to read and initial it without explaining to me. I didn't know this nightmare would happen. They wrote by handwritten the tooth numbers on the papers, it was not done by computer trying. I thought they knew what they were doing, since I had no bad experience with a dentist before. I did initial it and signed, and asked them for a copy. They gave me the original copy. After I gave the papers, in about less than 5 minutes they called me in. The dentist, DR. Phong Ly was kind of in a rush. He didn't talk to me thro, no explanation what he's going to do. While he was starting to numb my mouth he put sticks to the tooth that I didn't want to be removed, I stopped him, and told him what is he going to do with this tooth since we already talked about it. DR. Phong Ly got irritated by my question and he said something like if you don't want me to, just tell me, and I said "I don't want you to remove this tooth" I specifically told him not to remove it the second time. At that moment I was feeling so uncomfortable, and scared. I was alone in the room with him and his nurse since they refused to let my sister stay with me in the room due to COVID-19. I felt to stop him, but I thought it was kinda late because he already injected me, and I didn't want to feel that pain another time. I have no idea when they removed my front down tooth. One time during my oral surgery they put dark sunglasses on and removed it. All my face was so numb. DR. Phong Ly and his nurse seemed so in a rush, I felt the way they treated me was inhumane. I never felt so scary and helpless at the same time. All I wanted was the nightmare to be done, but I never though the worst nightmare was not yet to come. Once my surgery was done the DR. Phong Ly already left the room, the nurse said if I want to take my teeth, and when I looked I saw a front tooth. You know the wisdom teeth and the front teeth don't look the same. I asked them what it was and he said it's my tooth. At first I thought they removed the very front tooth, the one they were supposed to do the filling. He said it's not that one it's the front down tooth. At that moment I was so mad, and I started yelling. I told them how they could do that to me. I looked at myself for my iphone camera. It was very hard for me to talk to anybody at that moment since all face was numb. I started crying, and I was asking why he removed my tooth. DR. Phong Ly came back and said with an angry voice if you want me to put your tooth back I can do that. I told him that he will never ever touch my body again. The receptionist came to me, and kept saying that's what I signed for. I noticed the receptionist replaced the original my paper with a copy version since I had the original one read more

Had a six month cleaning today Aug 6th. Came in right at 6 months, the dentist acted like I did something wrong. The Dentist ended up cleaning, my teeth roughly in under 25 minutes total time in the chair. Start of work was 18 minutes and it was rough. Water pick cleaning felt he was shooting the gums most of the time. Very little scraping, he said done I asked for fluoride, He took a brush three times in the small dish and painted all my teeth with three strokes. Never gave me any feed back on my teeth or checked my gum numbers and no axray. It was not a cleaning. Stay away from this guy. read more

No problems at all other than small communication error but had my teeth removed and was pain free and quick. Had couple of fillings few weeks later and again no problems and was quick to get the job done. Will be using this clinics services for all future dental work! read more
