Service was terrible, I had a denture made, when she took my impression of my bottom teeth I had a swollen abscess front tooth and when all of my teeth were pulled she put the denture in. I told her I didn't like the way it bowed out and she said there is nothing she can do about it and said you know you have a peace of plastic in your mouth. I went back yesterday to see if she could fix it and she said no. Now I have to go somewhere else and spend $4000 to get a new denture. I don't understand why they can't do the right thing. read more

Getting old and had another tooth break up so needless to say was in a lot of pain. I had not been to a dentist in about 20 years because what I call chain store dentists on my last visit caused me more discomfort eating then when I went in. So I tried this dentist and did the interview and all the x-rays of my teeth. So was scheduled to have my partial tooth removed by them. Being on a blood thinner they wanted the levels checked before the removal. I was a little outside the normal levels so all of a sudden they referred me to the dental specialists. There was almost a 3 month wait just for a consultation, not to fix the problem. I feel I was referred to TDS due to I was not open to spending a lot of money for other fixes on how the years have changed my mouth. I have learned to change my eating for my current situation and will once again to on with my life without seeing dentists who you wonder go by show me the money. read more

It was my son and I first time being there and our impression of the front desk staff is very cold. The front desk people does not make you feel welcome at all. My son and my hygienists are not good at all. My son told me his hygienist kept nicking his gum and causing him pain. For me, I walked out with my teeth feeling like it was not properly cleaned. My son dentist is pleasant and good to him, and mine was ok. However, due to unwelcome presence from the front desk and not getting a proper clean from the hygienists we won't return to this office. read more

I have lived in several states and have had dental work , including cleanings, performed in several different cities. I just had another appointment with Michelle Bestgen , hygienist and want to state that she is by far the best hygienist I have ever had. She asks many health related questions before beginning and once she begins she does not rush and as such is very thorough and does an outstanding lob. She is very professional and personable and I just would not go to anyone else for a cleaning and checkup. read more

I called both Elk River and Coon Rapids locations and the schedulers are very unhelpful and frankly do not have customer service skills or knowledge in how to best serve patients. They offered me a cleaning which I do not need, I see a dentist every 6 months for that service but I could not get in until a few months down the road for my issue. I am having a tooth/gum issue which was clearly stated in my appointment request. They we absolutely no help. read more

We have been coming here for 4 years. Every visit we get treated worse and it is in regard to our insurance. We are insured through the state. They have even told me they make no money with our insurance and we cannot make appointments for cleanings because they will only see so many people at a time with state aid. They put us on a list. My kids are now going on 2 years without a cleaning because they are not at the top of list. They talk in hushed tones regarding our insurance and like I'm not there or I'm stupid in regards to what insurance covers. Nothing but crap experiences. Every time I walk out of there I feel sick from the way we've been treated. Stuck right now because of COVID. But can't wait to go somewhere where they treat us like humans, regardless of insurance we carry. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. Park Dental called our insurance company and worked up a quote for what our out of pocket cost was for my sons dental work. We had the work done and then they charged us double the quoted price. We kept a copy of the estimate and brought it in to them. They didn't care what the quote said and wouldn't negotiate. We ended up paying double and their service was terrible. Had we know what we would have been paying originally, we would have gone elsewhere. My anger resurfaces every-time I drive by their building. I would not recommend this place and I always give businesses a second chance because I know people have off days. read more

We were new in town and saw an ad in the paper that they were giving away Sonic Care brushes for new patients. In this case it was for my 4 year old. Upon checking out they said I needed to bring the ad & refused to give the brush to us. That is just awful customer service, especially when the whole point was to get a new customer. Be careful when you check in, they have you sign something that says they have the right to perform any services regardless of whether your insurance covers it. Doing what's 'best for you' lol = what's best for their books! Sure enough I just received a bill in the mail. In the last 2 years that my son went to our previous dentist he never had any charges. Park Dental is a total scam, there are better dentist offices out there choose a local independent dentist with ethics vs these corporate dental practices. read more

I have been going to this dental office for years only because I am too lazy to switch. Not anymore. All they care about is soaking every penny they can out of you. My spouse and I both never had any pain or issues with our teeth. It was ironic that all of a sudden within a one month time frame we both had to get crowns on our teeth. Our teeth were just fine and they never told use why we needed them or what that was. Then I found out around the same time, My BFF had to get one to and she also had no idea what that was or why she needed it. I started a new job and found out the same thing happened to two co-workers and their spouse also. The clinic must have been needing extra cash and thought that was the quickest way to get it. Never going back here again. in a nut shell...DO NOT TRUST THIS CLINIC AND DONT GO HERE UNLESS YOU LIKE WASTING YOUR MONEY ON THINGS YOU DONT NEED. read more

Rating only one star because they seem to be managed really poorly: Filled out a lengthy form online before my first visit "to save time so I don't have to arrive early" but they still asked me many of the same things at two appts. First time was about insurance and x-rays, wasting a bunch of time because they didn't even have those requested from my previous dentist; Still getting multiple appointment confirmation calls, emails, and voicemails even though I chose no communication on their form and specifically asked to be removed; Showed up to my appt on time, let them know my name, and waited 20min without anyone calling me. They shuffled around trying to figure out what happened and what to do, they finally called me back. Again with the online form failing as they asked about medical history and emergency contact only two weeks after my first visit! It's like they aren't hitting a save button somewhere! Appt finished 30min late with only the receptionist any bit aware of the inconvenience. Avoid. After some dental work gets completed I'm going elsewhere. read more

I've been a patient here for years and have always had an awesome experience with my hygienist MICHELLE! She is kind, thoughtful, FAST and thorough. She never guilts me about not flossing and she offers me ibuprofen before my cleaning since I have TMJ. She's a gem. Come see her! read more

Sorry to have to give a review like this but A year ago I got dentures a full upper and a partial lower. I will be honest and take ownership of how I have dealt with this. So here it is in a nutshell. I am a disabled veteran that only gets partial disability benefits because it's been in appeal phase for years but that's the government for you. I have no dental insurance so after getting my dentures I dropped the lowers on my wood floor and they broke. Then just a month ago I noticed that my uppers had a crack. So knowing I don't have insurance I attempted to glue them. That worked for a couple days. Tried that twice. It wouldn't be so bad if it wouldn't pinch the tip of my tongue. It seems that no one these days will stand by there product. Sounds like quality and standing behind a product is a thing of the past. They did tell me that I could come in for an appointment which will cost out of pocket just short of a hundred dollars. Just to tell me that I would have to pay out of pocket to replace them. I didn't even ask them what that might cost. I already just get by living on about 1200 dollars a month. So I just told the lady thank you for her time and to have a great day. read more

Have been going to Park Dental for years. Called today to schedule my son's check up and was informed they now have a FOUR TO SIX MONTH waiting list for kids on Medical Assistance, including kids who have already been seen there. We've been taking my son there since he was 2 (now 15), and he's always had MA sure to being adopted from Foster Care. Now all of a sudden he's not good enough to receive care there? No warning, no letter, no anything. Thanks, but I'll take my son and the rest of my family (who are not MA) someplace where we're all welcome. read more
