Fabulous service…read more I only had an issue one time when they had a fill in dental assistant helper from a contract agency or someplace & either she didn't inject/swab numbing agent into the right place, I was in severe pain during a dental procedure & the Dentist herself had to inject the numbing agent herself in the correct spot where it should have been. I haven't seen that helper since thank goodness lol... she was creepy & wasn't helpful at all. This place is a block away from my condo in the North Loop.

I liked my previous dental office and only switched because there was a convenience gap I wanted to close, but what I've noticed is how thorough and professional these cleanings are. Nice space, big facility. My dentist has been Dr. Hannon and my hygienist has been Sarah, both awesome. They take Delta Dental, and they have two dedicated parking spaces in the lot that the Prince mural looks down on. Recommended!

I loved that they were able to give me my "to do" list for all the stuff my teeth needed. I was very pleased with one of the team members there, Fateemah, who cleaned my teeth and gave me a lot of tips on how to keep my teeth and gums healthy. I found out she moved to a different state, thus my journey for a hygienist began... On 07/08/2020, I came to this office to get my teeth cleaned. I was greeted by the receptionists with smiles, I'll assume they were smiles since masks are required in the office, hint hint. I also wanted to get a slight pain checked out from a nearby area close to a crown I had put in. I was seen by Fateemah, as she was kind enough to keep me updated on where she moved. Since they are part of the Smiles Generation network, getting my info back and forth with North Decatur Dentistry was pretty easy. She cleaned my teeth thoroughly once again, and congratulated me on my progress. I didn't get a star sticker but healthier teeth is just as good for me. I was then seen by Dr Egan who was very pleasant and knowledgeable as she was pretty quick to diagnose my pain. She made a slight adjustment to my crowns in hopes that it would help with the occasional pain I'd have. She also told me what other work I needed, but since my time is short here, I'll be getting that work done back in Atlanta. All in all, I had a great experience at this office. It's hard to find an amazing hygienist, so if you visit this office, I recommend you see Fateemah! If her manager or the regional manager sees this, please know she's that good that someone traveled out of state just for a cleaning! The staff were are all great too!

Went there for a root canal with one of their specialist but I also was scheduled for another appointment with a dentist for " a preparation " to the procedure done by someone else.They ask me right away for a deposit of $ 100.00 to secure the appt. The individuals that work there excel in their areas of expertise, and are interested in their jobs and their patients. They are actively involved in improving, taking education and training classes, and learning leading-edge practice with new technologies to improve their patients' experience while in their care. If you see this in one or two staff members it might be due to their individual initiative, but when you see it collectively by everyone working in the practice it is due to leadership and hiring the right people to foster a learning and caring environment. Dr. Novak has created this environment in her dental practice. Dr. Novak is the most skilled, caring, and thoughtful dentist I have ever met. The arrival of Dr. Johnson has expanded the services of her practice in the areas of extractions and implants, just to name two. Stacey and Amy are exceptional dental assistants. McCala is the dental hygienist and does a very thorough and gentle cleaning with great attention to detail. Cross-training is also alive and well, as Amy is also Office Manager. Jasmine, who acts as the front office coordinator, also handles insurance claims. She handles different insurance companies with primary, secondary, and even tertiary claims with great skill, which maximizes the reimbursement to the patient and/or the practice. I have never seen this level of skill and attention to detail for insurance claims in the dental or medical fields. Jasmine is also taking classes to become a dental assistant. Dr. Novak also reinvests in her practice. She recently incorporated 3D scanning for enhanced diagnostic capabilities, and an iTero scanner for crowns, Invisalign treatment, implants, and custom occlusal guards. These technologies increase the potential for identifying problems in earlier stages of development before they become increasingly uncomfortable for the patient. Overall, they allow for more comprehensive patient treatment and improved patient comfort. Another example is that taking traditional impressions is no longer a hands-on physical activity, but is now digital. Employees are also trained on the new technologies, which also increases their capabilities and job satisfaction. All of these practices work very well together. As is to be expected, some are a little rougher than others but they always seem open to feedback if you need something done differently. Dr. Molldrem is also extremely friendly, and he is able to quickly perform exams so you don't spend too much time waiting around. The reason I've bumped my review down to 4 stars is that my family has occasionally had issues with miscommunications between the office and insurance companies regarding payment and coverage, leading to some confusion. But otherwise, we've usually had great experiences with Molldrem Family Dentistry!

Long story short, money-hungry, impersonable, and immature…read more Was recommended Moldrem by my insurance provider because they testified to my insurance that they could accommodate my allergies. Scheduled an initial intake at the Lakeville location and things went smoothly. Met with Dr. Molldrem and he was keen on everyone getting 'paid what they were owed' in the context of my insurance lowballing him. Mind you, the staff drive luxury SUVs and they have TWO locations. Several MONTHS later I have my teeth cleaning and not only could they not accommodate my allergies, they never had the intent to. Furthermore, they refused to coordinate care between me and my Medical Doctor to figure out appropriate treatment based on my Dr.'s medical orders. I asked politely to receive updates within the week regarding sussing out my treatment plan and they told me to get lost. I asked for recommendations on who else to go to if they couldn't get the job done and they told me to check with my insurance (HAH!). So here I am without any of the treatments they had agreed to help me work through. I called to file a complaint and the Eden Prairie location told me that this all had 'nothing to do with their professionalism' and that 'if I was unhappy with my care I could always find someone else'. I would say that treating me like a burden because I'm not filthy rich is a professionalism issue but whatever. Don't go here unless you love feeling awful.
