Well, I waited awhile to write a review, even though I was asked to write one over two weeks ago!! I bought a 2019 Chevy Impala Premiere on July 11th " Cash" I was given two key Fobs, and at the same time asked to download the on-star app to start my car. I did no issues!! Once everything was signed etc. I drove the 2hrs back to Connecticut. The next morning, I went to start my car and it wouldn't start. After trying the push start multiple time the dash then said, " Remote not detected". It then started up. A couple days later it did it again but started up. The next day I spent 30 mins trying to start the car, I pressed the button for on star. On star wanted to tow my car, I said I didn't want it towed. They said Well try again maybe it's the battery in the Fob, and that I should go to the dealership to see. Once I got it started, I went straight to the Middletown Chevy dealership. Told them what had been happening and they said they could check the fob out and that maybe it would be an 8-dollar battery. After 5 mins they came back and asked where I got the key from. I told them I had just bought the car. They then flipped open the Fob and told me it was not the Key to this car. They showed me the wording inside the key " VAST" and said to check my second key to see if it's the same thing. They said someone had that key made " aftermarket" and that the dealership should give you at least one real key to your car. The keys that were given to me will lock and unlock with no problem, but you will have problems starting the car. Mind you this car was supposed to also come with remote start/ which wasn't working. Nevertheless, I contacted "Mike the Martian " left a message he did call me back and made it sound like he would correct the problem because I definitely needed a key. I explained I wasn't looking for two Fobs but at least one that goes to my car. He agreed and said they have someone who does keys on Mondays I told him I had no problem driving the 2 hours so they could program the Fob. At this point I've been calling not only Mike but "Lou" I'm guessing his Boss, leaving multiple messages, via texts, email, voicemails with no response. At this point if they decide to not do what's right, it's their choice!! If they don't correct this situation I would definitely stay from this place. The balls in their court! Dirty Business that's what this looks like. I might just have to eat that cost which is messed up. They have my email, and both cell numbers. Let's see!! read more

I have yet to have a worse experience at a dealership. I was presented with loan terms as though I were approved, signed the terms, held the car with $500. I was supposed to be contacted that evening by the financing department. No call. They never contacted me. I had to text twice, leave one voicemail, and call yet again to get a response about my loan request the next day, and my sales associate (Michael Kawola) told me they still did not have a financing offer. That's fine, but they've now had my $500 for two days, after misleading me that financing was secured, and ran my credit for a completely different car I had not even seen or been told about. wtf? The next day-day three- when Michael told me he'd contact me. By the afternoon, I hadn't heard from him, and had to call the dealership to find out it was his day off. Requested to speak to the sales manager, and naturally, again got no answer and had to leave a voicemail. This ordeal started Tuesday, it is now Friday and I JUST received the receipt for my refund. Update on the review below: The smaller shop charged me $200 for labor. When I took it upon myself to change my other headlight myself, I bought the same pieces and a socket wrench ($85 total) and literally 10 minutes of my time without watching a tutorial video and without help. My mind is blown. If you're a woman or know nothing about cars, I highly suggest doing homework before trusting a company out for money and not your well-being or community. ________ It was easy to call and get an appointment set up. That was the only genuine part. I told them what Firestone told me I needed replaced. They told me that Firestone lied about the car not being able to take universal parts and proceeded to take me car knowing it was just needed to find someone who can wire it. When I was dropping off my car they stated it would be 179 just to confirm what Firestone said was true. When I asked about it, the rep told me that he needed to pay for his technicians time to take the headlight off which is at the most 12 minutes and that's WITH a smoke break for 179 without tax?! I later got a text with images of my car without the headlight as if that's proof that the headlight needed to be replaced just as the shop and I stated beforehand. They said it would be 700 when the parts totaled to $70 at the most straight from GM and I'm guessing 600+ for labor for a part that takes maybe one hour to complete. I was able to purchase the parts myself and find a genuine shop to do it under two hours for 1/4 of the price. (later also tricking me into paying for a job a 10 year old child could do!) Dealerships have way too much money to be ripping people off, but than again that's probably why they have so much money! Also, the Lyft drivers they offer for you before and after dropping off you car do not get tipped and will trade the stop to other drivers before someone actually comes and gets you bc they know the dealership doesn't tip. read more

If I could give negative stars, that would be appropriate. This dealership is a complete disaster from sales to service to management. Took six months for my truck to come in, which I understand is not the dealer's fault. But they didn't order my step bars until the day I was schedule to pick the truck up as they "thought they were in stock" and blamed the dealer stocking software. Now they have been on backorder for over a month. These should have been ordered when the truck was ordered, which is the same day I ordered the step bars. Dealer didn't do anything to help, I had to keep asking status. When I was told to speak with parts department, they didn't know where the order was and couldn't tell me anything either. I finally asked for my money back and will order from some place competent. About first service: I had the first service completed by Denooyer and after a few weeks started noticing small oil spots on my driveway. Assuming since the truck was brand new, I kept looking at the wife's vehicle and never found anything. Friday morning I go to the truck and find a massive oil spot on my concrete driveway. The service technician apparently does NOT know how to use a filter wrench and tighten the oil filter. It took 3 turns by hand to snug it up even. Denooyer says they cannot look at it and wanted to tow it to the shop and leave me with no vehicle. Their solution was to make me wait at Mangino Cheverolet so that dealer could run diagnostics for damage and check everything out. So I had to wait 2+ hours there. DO NOT take anything to get serviced here. They are not competent at anything it seems. They didn't even reset the oil and filter when they did service it. read more

Let me state right up front that I am ONLY rating the experience of trying to sell a 100k+, 9 year old car to them--but based upon their repeated enthusiastic invitation. This came from the Kelly Blue Book Process called "Automatic Offer". Otherwise, the Dealership is pleasant, it is a beautiful facility, all but one of the people I spoke with were kindly in nature. If I had $80k to spend they might have sold me that awesome black Corvette with the red seats in the showroom. Now here is where I must explain that that last week I have engaged, unknowingly, into the Belly of the Beast that involves a car like my 2015 Honda Civic, KBB, and the reality of the Brand Dealerships interest in purchasing this king of car. The bottom line is this: They are NOT interested! Two local Honda Dealers and De Noyer didn't want to hear form me ANYTHING that I believed was of potential value. Why? Because they aren't going to retail it there; rather they send it right off to auction, where in a manual is writ what the car is worth to THEM. Now if I had only know this ahead of time, I wouldn't have spent $175 on a brand new key, or $105 for new hubcaps. I did not discover until I met the TRULY SUPERIOR folks at Keeler Honda, why I and my perfectly serviceable and trusty Honda was being treated so poorly: it had been in a serious accident with the previous owner. And the MINI Dealer in Clearwater, FL who traded it to me for a John Cooper Works 6-speed Turbo which was eating me alive in repair costs, DIDN'T tell me. Because on the KBB inquiry I didn't know of ANY accidents, the offer came in at $6009. DeNoyer and Keeler were 2 of the 3 dealers whose names came up as having definite interest in my car. Mostly, I think, they want to lure you into trading that car in and buying a much more expensive car of theirs that has been sitting unsold on their lot. BUT HOLD ON. Nothing of what I have said gives ANY EXCUSE for the way this sniveling B-st-rd Used Car Buyer treated me. He insulted me with an offer of $3,000, said nothing of the accident, but dragged me out to my car and spent 5 minutes pointing to 20+ things that he made out were TERRIBLE. "Look at this scratch, look at that evidence of a bad job, look at the fogged headlamps, don't tell me about your pie-in-the-sky hubcaps!" On and on he went. My poor car felt terrible, and I was pissed. Even MORE so when KBB reduced their offer to $4334, because DeNoyer's inquiry had revealed the major accident. Very disappointed . I received a text to bring my Tahoe back in for a small percentage off , I declined to return . I wrote back waiting on a phone call from management . I had a wire that needed replacement in the rear of the vehicle, I was quoted 600.00 because they claimed they needed to drop my suspension . I asked myself did they drop it to find the problem and the answer is no . Thank god I'm no stupid lady I went for another opinion and brought the diagnostic paper with me . The new mechanic was applaud by this even went as far to tell me they will over charge you and mess with your vehicle to bring it back . Thank god i was being watched over that day the new mechanic fixed it for very little and didn't stop my suspension ! I called and set up a hitch install and got a quote. I mentioned to the girl who set it up that her quote was $300 lower than another dealer and said she can't speak to other dealers prices. So I dropped off the vehicle the night before and the next morning I get a call from a service advisor stating they didn't have any quotes saved and what was I told so I repeated exactly the conversation and amounts discussed. He said that they absolutely cannot do it for that price and at best he would talk to his manager and get me a "deal". This is the last time Denooyer will get any business from me. The mistake was on them and they handled it poorly. If you allow your employees to give out quotes you should honor their mistakes. Hell i even pointed it out to her and she still said it was correct. The way I was spoke to was unprofessional and condescending. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone for sales or service because I have unfortunately had bad experiences now on both. It definetley seems like they say things over the phone to get you to come in and then change their story and rip you off. I am still blown away that they wouldn't honor their original quote but I guess you need to get it in writing and that's my bad. Quoted me a price to replace an engine on a 08 Avalanche. $9316! Price was outrageous, over charged on parts. Complained about the outrageous price since I am a 100% disabled Veteran. They dropped a grand off. Then date promised to be completed was a week and half late once they receive the engine from Jasper. The final date when it was ready they added another $524 fee for Spark Plugs and wires that didn't come with the engine! Not sure why they didn't use the original wires at least and definitely replace the plugs but for an additional charge of $524. Drove vehicle one day and service light came on for "battery not charging" and it had to be brought back. No vehicle offered while I wait to see what the mechanic did wrong. Poor communication, the service advisor went home early so no phone call. The next morning I called the dealership got the service advisor and he went and checked on it. Findings- they're not quite sure might be the ground wire to the new engine block so they cleaned it up. This dealership is horrible at communication and screw over their customers on all part charges. Catering only to the wealthy. This Retired Combat Veteran has to sell his beloved Avalanche now to pay off the $10,000 Repair bill for a remanufactured engine that took from January 24th to March 18th to get my truck back and to pay for a rental car for over a month. Follow up-I listed the truck for sale on marketplace and everyone who is writing to me says that these Jasper motors are junk and cheap that's why they ordered it to make money off of and second no one would ever take their vehicle to Denooyer for service. This review is long overdue. I was a long time customer of DeNooyer Chevrolet. Everything was great...until it wasn't... In December, 2016, I received repairs on my 2011 Chevrolet Avalanche's front differential. At the time of the repair, I had requested the damaged front differential be replaced with new parts in order to extend the warranty of the repair. I was informed that the replacement parts were obsolete and a rebuild would be necessary. In April, 2018, I took my vehicle to NorthStar Chevrolet located in Clifton Park, NY for routine maintenance. Typically, all service is handled by DeNooyer Chevrolet (whom I purchased the vehicle from), but DeNooyer Chevrolet was unable to accommodate my last minute request for service and NorthStar Chevrolet was. Upon completion of the repairs, and having the vehicle in my driveway for a couple of days, I discovered an oil leak. I returned the vehicle to NorthStar to ensure the oil reservoir wasn't just overfilled, or the oil filter wasn't fully tightened. NorthStar Chevrolet informed me the oil leak was coming from the front differential. They indicated they wouldn't know the nature or cause of the leak until they could take the front differential apart. I asked them to proceed with diagnosing the problem, but not to proceed with the repair because I wanted to speak to DeNooyer if the repair needed was extensive. NorthStar called me back and indicated the damage to the front differential was due to a bad repair performed by DeNooyer. DeNooyer neglected to install the shaft bearings during the assembly. This has resulted in damage to the shaft. NorthStar has indicated an estimated $1400.00 for repair. I called DeNooyer Chevrolet to see if there was anything they could do to help given the damage was done due to a faulty repair. DeNooyer's Service Manager indicated that because the repair was performed more than 12 months ago (16 months to be exact), it was out of warranty and there was nothing they would do. At this point, I called GM for assistance and filed a complaint. After nearly 2 weeks of back and forth with the GM service representative, she indicated that DeNooyer Chevrolet was unwilling to assist and that GM is unable to assist, because the dealerships are independently owned. The only reason the repair lasted 16 months was because I was advised not to use 4 wheel drive unless absolutely necessary. It was a mild winter and there wasn't a need to use 4 wheel drive... In the end, it cost me an additional $1500 to make the same repair. A repair that was necessary because DeNooyer Chevrolet neglected to INSTALL THE BEARINGS. Ultimately, I gave that business to NorthStar Chevrolet (who is unfortunately no longer in business). I keep hearing DeNooyer Chevrolet commercials about how it's a family run business, and you deal directly with the owner. I was never once able to speak to the owner regarding my concerns. read more

We have been doing business with Denooyer for 20+ years whether its sales, service, or the collision center. 98% of the time was satisfied. So what....not everyone is great but always courteous and professional. Last year I had a pretty bad accident in a leased vehicle and was treated very poorly about it by GM. I didnt have much money to put down on a new car and wasnt sure if they could help. John Digregorio, who did my lease agreement was very patient with me as I came in the dealership very upset. I had a deal to own a new car in a couple of hours with a price that I could afford. He even made me laugh when I asked about heated seats and he asked me if it was a deal breaker....then found me the car with the heated seats. Fast forward to this past Monday. We had gone to another dealership based on a family recommendation and had a very horrible experience (I wrote a review on that too!) and I had called John on Saturday to set up the appointment. We didnt NEED to make a deal, we just knew if we could, we wanted to upgrade. Im working from home so my husband went to the appointment and they were going to video call with me if it was necessary. Other than a few pieces of information needed from me, there was no phone call. Husband pulls in the driveway 2 hours later and Im bummed...in the front window with a sad face. He looks at me, smiles this HUGE grin and gives me the thumbs up! We're picking it up the next day and its a bigger upgrade than we were going to get at the other dealership AND a better finance deal than we thought could be possible! John, as always was efficient, friendly, and very patient when we had a hiccup with the insurance cards (insurance company's fault). I had basically been in on this truck deal sight unseen but when I saw that beautiful truck I knew that we made the right decision to come back to Denooyer. Bullet dodged! I bought a certified used truck from them and immediately noticed a loud banging every time I hit a bump in the road. I also noticed the back bumper was not square. After 2 trips back, they fixed the running board that had been ripped from the rocker panel and causing the noise, but said if I wanted the bumper fixed I should have "written it into the deal" and they had lots of new vehicles if I wanted a vehicle with no issues. Today was the third time that I have been to this dealership. I have to say they have the worst service I have ever seen. I walked into the dealership and was never greeted by anyone. There were sales people walking around and people behind the desk. All were sitting around doing little to nothing. The girl behind the counter was texting on her personal phone. The sales people are doing god knows what. After about 15 minutes of looking at the Silverado on the showroom floor (one of the trucks I was there to look at) no one even said hi or can I help you. Never seen such a lack of attention to customers. My wife even said ok is anyone helping you when she walked in. The girl at the desk had to hear it and still said nothing. Only gets one star because I have to. Service team is nice but it's only because they know they are robbing you. After being told the problem when we brought the car in, they looked at it and determined that the problem was caused by something different. Only to tell you later that the problem that they were told about was actually correct. Then when a sensor fails in the same area they were working on they take no responsibility for the problem and charge you more money to fix it. They also tell you they're going to order a part (recall) for you and never do. And they are going to talk to their GM about waiving fees, and never do! read more

"Values driven" only refers to them when it comes to purchasing a new vehicle or trading in a vehicle. I've been a customer there for at least 7 years + and have met some great people there in the process as well as purchasing at least 3 or more vehicles. After this recent visit to purchase a new 22 Colorado I was lied to by the one sales manager multiple times in regards to the deal. He gave every excuse in the book to why the deal was the way it was and how my trade (2017 Cruze blue) was going to be sent to auction cause of the milage and work needed and told me me either to take the so called deal or not and then he literally got up and just walked away. The car I was trading in was recently inspected and had absolutely no issues and guess what to no surprise they took the car and put it up on there website not even 24 hours after trading it in for $5k more then what they gave me in trade with literally not a thing done to it. I wasn't expecting stupid money out of the trade or off the new car but they wouldn't even budge a a little considering the Colorado was technically a left over and the market for used cars being at the highest they have ever been. I know these car dealerships can do dirty business but this was unbelievable especially after being a loyal customer between sales and service. Buyers should definitely be aware of the tricks and lies they will be up against when looking to either purchase a new or used vehicle especially with trading one in. read more

after being referred to Denooyer from 2 family members, I decided to go to Denooyer to purchase a vehicle ( one hour away from my home). I ended up purchasing a 2017 Chevy Suburban which ended up being a complete nightmare....Within a month the vehicle had 3 issues...After using the 4 wheel drive for the first time, it was stuck in 4 wheel drive, needing to take a day off of work, I had to go back up to Albany to let them assess my car. They reluctantly rented me a larger vehicle (since I purchased a suburban because I have a family of 5 and a large dog and travel every weekend) and then I was charged $253 for gas for this vehicle after dropping it off...When I was told it wasn't going to cost me a penny since I just picked up this vehicle 3 days ago and I saved them money not having to tow this vehicle from my home back to the dealership...so after days of arguing and fighting with them, they agreed to purchase me a cargo mat for my suburban to compensate me for the gas charge. That was the first issue. The following week the windshield wiper fell off the vehicle, along with the blade completely breaking and not being able to be used...The next day, I got into my vehicle, to find that my seatbelt was saturated in water and the headliner above the driver side door was wet and stained...Please keep in mind, all of this happened within 2 weeks of purchasing this vehicle...Needless to say...This vehicle was never thoroughly gone through before putting this vehicle up for sale...And I paid 45k for this car that I now absolutely despise...Again, after arguments and phone calls to the owner Joel...They agreed to get me into a vehicle that would make me happy and wasn't a "lemon". With this being said, they contacted me with suburban which was a 2018 with about 30k less miles on it and it ended up costing me $10K more.... When I purchased my original 2017 suburban not knowing it would be a complete mistake, I had purchased Weathertech mats for the whole vehicle costing me $380...These mats were cocoa to match the interior of the vehicle...I kindly asked if they would keep these mats for this vehicle and purchase me new ones that would match the vehicle interior (black) for the new suburban...Heath stated he would see if he could order them...When I went outside to switch all of my personal belongings into the new vehicle, they were getting ready to put in their mats and stated they were "better than WeatherTech". I stated that was not the deal...I paid $380 for the mats you are keeping and you are just assuming I would be ok with these mats????? The sales manager came out of the office and stated "I am not buying you Weathertech mats". Totally unacceptable....This place has left an impression with me that will never be forgotten....I was assured by Joel the owner that they would do what needed to be done to make me happy...I don't feel that anything that I requested was unreasonable since the vehicle they sold me was a complete disaster...Throughout all of this, I had to take 5 days off of work to accommodate this dealership for a vehicle that was never gone through thoroughly... I will say...Dan Tran, my salesman, was an absolute pleasure to work with...Throughout all of this mess, he tried to go above and beyond to make things right... I am aware that "things" happen, however, the at the end of the day, If I could turn back time, I would have never gone there to make a purchase. read more

Sometimes in life and in business, things go wrong, But what separates a business that cares from one that doesn't , is how far they'll go to make things right for you. I live in Philadelphia, and found just the car I wanted online, at Denooyer. My sales person, Scott, handled everything by phone and e-mail and it was agreed that I'd travel by train to pick it up. While test driving the car though, a service light came on and a part needed to be ordered to fix it. Now, this could have been a disaster, right? But sales, service, rentals and the manager all worked together to make sure I was taken care of with a complementary rental to get home. Within a week, not only did they get my car in top shape, but they delivered it to me in PA. I can see why they've been in business as long as the Chevy brand. Oh, and can I tell you how much I love my car? Thanks DeNooyer. I'll always have a story. read more
