Denon and Doyle (Cam as the MC, Jake the DJ and Sarah ran the photo booth) hosted my daughter's dance party (Bat Mitzvah). They did a super job, and along with the very professional way the entire event was handled, from the first phone call to Dan to the breakdown after the dance, they were well worth the price. I used them for the entire span of my wedding, from pre-ceremony music to the very last dance of the reception. They were great, so easy to work with! About a month before the wedding, they sent me a link to fill out my event planner online with most of the information for the day. Then the week of the wedding, they called to confirm, offer suggestions to things that I wan't certain on, and take any changes that inevitably come up. Last weekend was my son's Bar Mitzvah and I booked Denon and Doyle to DJ and emcee the event. Abra was our emcee and she was absolutely amazing! She has incredible energy, spirit, and enthusiasm. She and the party facilitator, Sam, had the kids engaged and happy....playing games and getting them dancing. I have never seen so many 13 year old boys dance the night away. All the kids loved the games and the adults enjoyed watching. She came to our house prior to the event to meet my son and formed a great connection with him. She even came a second time to teach my son and his two best friends the line dances she was going to do at the party! Brian was played great music, enough hip hop for the kids, and great dance music for the adults. Used Denon and Doyle last night for my son's bar mitzvah, and have to say THEY ROCK! From the first Meet and Greet in their offices, to the 5 minutes before the party kicked off, they were professional, stayed connected, listened to what we wanted (more on this in a moment) and made the party an epic event for my son. Even though we are in Sacramento, it was easy to work with them and give all the props in the world to Mark and his crew! As I mentioned, in the first meeting, we sat down with Dan and he looked at me and said, "Dad, hold tight! I want to hear from your son!" And they proceeded to have a 15 minute conversation about my son's likes and dislikes...his recent bar mitzvah experiences and what he wanted. Given this party was all about my son, I didn't even need to say anything! At the event itself, Mark Addington proved why we feel we made the right choice!he told my son" you need anything, ANYTHING, just let me know"... And that was the tone for the evening. Simply the best!!! Better then all the rest!!!!!!! From the first phone call with Mark Addington to my tenth email or so, Mark was so eager and happy to answer any and all questions and concerns! We picked Ed thru watching online videos and we knew he was the one!!!! We hired Denon & Doyle for my son's wedding after attending a holiday party where Kevin was the DJ. We thought his music choices were great and noticed how everybody was dancing, plus we really appreciated his low-key style. Kevin was already booked for the date of our son's wedding, so we went with Chad. Turned out to be a fantastic choice! He was there on time, got everything set up, and worked super well with all the other vendors to orchestrate things. He was supposed to finish at 11:00, but everybody was still on the dance floor then. We asked if he could stay and play for another hour, and he was fine with that. The services provided by Denon and Doyle were spot on for what I needed at my Napa wedding. They were very quick with responses and have a great website that helps you build the layout for your wedding just the way you want. Mark Addington and Brian Holmes essentially held my hand throughout the whole process. As a very busy person, they could understand I needed all the help I could get. On the big day they were able to create a great set up at the bed and breakfast venue. There was a nice sound system for outdoor dining and a great one for the indoor dancing. Shea was my DJ and he did a great job at keeping the party moving in the right direction. He was very professional and personable with the guests. The price was very fair and I have no complaints. i hired D&D for their photobooth for my wedding. it was really important to me that it looked vintage, but was updated with new features. It perfectly fit my needs. My only issue with them was the guy that was supposed to encourage people to use the photobooth didnt really watch the props that I bought. We lost a couple of vintage hats that guests stole (i know, classy), but not a huge deal. other than that, everything was great. read more

Patrick and his team did an incredible job of getting our guests on the dance floor and having a blast. We used Denon & Doyle's photobooth service for our wedding and it was a huge hit! Let's start with the pro's - Photobooths keeps people entertained - Unlimited photostrips printed - Live video of what's going on inside the photobooth mounted on top so guests can see the action live. - Guests are encouraged to leave a copy of the photo inside the scrapbook . I highly recommend a photo booth at your wedding However, there were some con's I was not happy with. Con's - I've been to many weddings with a photobooth and Denon & Doyle's photo lens is not very wide compared to others that I've experienced. Only two people can fit comfortably in the picture. Other photobooths I've been in can fit at least 4 people comfortably.- The photobooth prints out two sets of photostrips. The point of the scrapbook and technician on sight was to encourage people to leave a copy of the picture inside for our memories. Only half our guests left the second picture in our scrapbook. The technician on sight was very helpful and enthusiastic so I don't fault him but I was lead to believe there would be more participation in our scrabook when ordering the photobooth. Other photobooths I've experienced were able to print more than two copies (if the guests were so intent on taking both copies home). D&D's photobooth prints pictures directly from the photobooth so they are only able to print two copies. - The print quality of the pictures is not too good. I figured out after the event that the other photobooths I spoke of all had external printers so they have the capability to print more than two strips. Since these printers are also digital, the quality is better However, all of the other photobooths I've used were in LA so I can't speak for other companies in the Bay. D&D purchased a vintage style photobooth common in many American theme parks which were designed for photostrips. So when looking into a photobooth for your wedding, you need to decide what is more important? Picture quality or vintage style photos. If I had a do over, I'd probably choose the picture quality. Be sure to asks these types of questions when inquiring about photobooth rentals! After leaving my original review, I was contacted by D&D who offered to print extra copies on photo paper from my event. Although they won't be in the vintage style photo strips, this offers a resolution for me to complete my scrapbook. Wedding photographers don't have the capacity to capture pictures of all your guests at your wedding so the photobooth was really important to me. Thank you D&D, I will have awesome memories from my wedding day for life! read more

I am a photographer based in the Bay Area, and I've had the pleasure of working alongside several D&D team members over the years. I am always impressed with not only their energy and their enthusiasm with leading the celebrations, but their professionalism and their positive attitude. I have a feeling that they are very selective in their hiring, because I've never had a D&D employee (whether a DJ, MC, dancer or schlepper) utter anything negative. This is uncommon amongst our kind of folks. I have heard many grumbles from caterers, videographers, musicians and DJs about "this client asked for that..." or "I am so over this gig tonight". But Denon & Doyle folks are super-professional, and they always seem to be having a blast at their events. Our experience with Denon and Doyle (Kevin was our DJ) for our wedding was 100% positive. our first interactions with the staff were really easy - when we had random questions, they always responded within 24 hours. Sue and Addington were really friendly and made sure that we were taken care of. The online planner at www.djay.com was helpful to get us thinking about what we wanted for our event. About a week before the wedding, Brian contacted us to get the final details about the event. This actually worked fine for us because were pretty last minute with all the details. He helped us craft the timeline of the day and gave us suggestions for processional, recessional and first dance songs. We didn't feel the need to actually meet our DJ Kevin before the day of since we had already seen him at a couple of ther other weddings. Kevin did a phenomenal job on the day of. He played the music for our ceremony and was spot on with the timing. When it came time to introduce the families, he made sure he got all the names correct and got the crowd going. Throughout the event, Kevin was able to keep us on track in terms of time and direct things so that everything ran smoothly. When it came time for dancing though, Kevin really delivered. The dance floor was packed all night with guests of all generations and the feedback from our friends and family was so positive. I have no idea how he pulled this all off because we gave him so little direction, but so many of our favorite songs were played and we ended on a truly perfect song. I can not think of any way that Denon and doyle could have done a better job with our wedding! From start to finish, it was such a painless and easy process. read more

Everyone knows that a DJ is a vital part of a wedding reception and will really make or break your party, so when we began our wedding planning, we wanted to make sure that we chose the right one. We attended Denon & Doyle's wedding planning afternoon - which I would highly recommend, even if you decide not to go with them. Having never planned a wedding before, I had no idea what I was doing. They take you step-by-step through the evening and do demonstrations of activities and games (if you're into that - and we weren't). They had examples of their lighting too. They were really great to work with. We decided to hire them, since they have a ton of DJs to choose from and you can really get what you are looking for - and we asked for Kevin. He was perfect. He played everything we asked him to and avoided the cheesy wedding music we really didn't want. All of our guests danced the entire night, and we were surprised that the time went so fast. We worked with Denon and Doyle for our July, 2016 wedding and were very happy. -We tried to have all female vendors from female-owned businesses, and so were thrilled to work with DJ Stephanie -Denon and Doyle has a very convenient online system where we uploaded our choices for first dances, must-plays, must-not-plays, etc. This made the consultation a week before the wedding very easy. DJ Stephanie made all of our musical requests happen -The music was great--just what we were hoping for. People were dancing from start to finish. We rented one of their portable photo booths for our July wedding. 90% of our guests got in the booth and took more than one set of photos. It was totally worth it! The portable booth isn't as cute as the other photo booths they offer, but who cares! It works the same way and it was a great deal! Richard was our attendant and he was great. My crazy friends pulled him into a few photos, so funny! He was really nice and looked happy to be there. They brought silly hats, glasses, and a chalk board as props. I had this company bring in their booth. He came on time, set up the booth and then the FUN began. From the beginning of our event the line never ended at the booth. Free props were provided. Instructions were given but he stayed at the booth to assist. We liked him so much we HAD to have him in some of the photos. I have used Denon and Doyle for both of my children's bar/bat Mitzvah parties. We specifically had Dan as our lead MC. He never sits down, and he leads his team to make the party upbeat and fun. They are so professional, easy to work with and always listened to our requests. The team members are wonderful, young, energetic and nice! I recently got married and hired Denon & Doyle based on a friend's recommndation. I could not have asked for anything more! I had no coordinator and no plan for the reception. My DJ Larry ran the whole thing, kept it moving along and acted as a coordinator. My favorite part was how much Denon & Doyle helped me personalize it with things like the NFL superstar entry of the bridal party. The music was fantastic and Larry had everyone dancing! Mark H. from Denon and Doyle did a great job DJing at the party I was at last night, but being a good DJ wasn't what impressed me the most. What I was impressed with was that the when the host gave a speech the wireless microphones Mark provided worked perfectly. I would say that for every wireless microphone I've seen work properly at an event I've seen 10 that were twitchy, full of static, or had tiny feedback issues. My husband and I booked a Designer Booth for our wedding on April 24th in Mendocino. I had been working with Chris through email so I was thrilled to find him working the event too. We used SF photo booth for our wedding in September and it was so much fun! They have a variety of booths and they all come with an attendant, props, and unlimited photos either black or white. The photos each come customized, in our case, they had our names on top and our wedding date on the bottom. You get 2 copies, one for your guests to leave you in a book but you also get every photo taken on a flash drive and some of them are hilarious! We were really glad we got the photo booth and this company was reasonably priced compared to a few others I've called. read more

We asked around for DJs for our son's bar mitzvah and heard again and again that we should hire Denon & Doyle. We are so glad that we did! We hired Denon & Doyle's emcee, DJ and two "motivators" and also chose to include a photo booth, two dance cubes and the A/V for the video that we wanted to show. They brought lighting on a rail around the DJ that shone onto our dance floor. We thought the emcee did a wonderful job managing the party. We spoke with him beforehand about the timeline for the party, the type of music our son wanted to hear and other related details. I love the entire team at San Francisco Photo Booth. Sure, you can probably go with a cheaper photo booth company, but you'll get a crappy experience and crappy photos. The entire team worked so patiently with me to design my own background and lettering at no extra charge. They are so nice and willing to help you in any way. They are so professional and organized! The day of photo booth attendant was awesome. She went above and beyond to make sure our guests were having fun, the props were organized, and designed the photo album to look beautiful. Denon & Doyle practically saved our wedding. We had a horrible experience with a guy from East Bay Dj website who basically didn't comply with what his website claimed and swindled us out of our money, leaving us without a reliable DJ within a couple weeks of our wedding date. We contacted a number of DJ companies, but Denon & Doyle stood above the rest with how responsive they were and empathetic they were to our situation. We managed to book DJ Ed, the DJ we wanted and suited our music tastes, in time for our wedding and couldn't have been more pleased with our experience with the staff and him prior and on the day of the wedding. EVeryone on staff was professional and followed up with music plans and song cuts well in advance. I've been to plenty of weddings lately, friends and acquaintances, and I rarely hear comments or compliments about DJs. It was unanimous among our guests, guests in their 20's, 30's along with older and younger guests that DJ Ed did a fantastic job getting everyone dancing. The music selection was perfect and got everyone partying throughout the night... even the older crowd was getting wild on the dance floor with the younger crowd. D&D djed our wedding at the gardens at heather farm and generally did a great job with it. We went to an info session about 9 months before the wedding, and that helped us to think through the exact schedule for our wedding and how to make everything flow. D&D did the music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, but we did not get any additional entertainment or lights from them. After putting down the deposit, they gave us an online planner to input most of the details. We filled it out slowly over the next few months and submitted it 2 weeks before the wedding. We had a quick call to review details and get the final amount paid, and then we were set. Ronnie was the DJ for our wedding, and he was very easy to work with. He discussed some of the details with us while setting up and regularly checked in during the wedding on details. Since we didn't have a wedding planner or coordinator, Ronnie was in charge of the schedule and MCing and did a great job. On actual DJing duties, there was a slight snafu in playing the father-bride song for the mother-groom dance, but that was quickly corrected. The music for dancing was also pretty much what we had asked for. At one point, we had to go over to Ronnie to request more popular music to get the dancing going again, but we were happy with how he responded to that. Overall, we thought that they did a great job with the wedding. Other than a few minor mistakes, everything went smoothly. read more

Denon & Doyle set up their photobooth at our wedding reception, and they did a great job. They were experienced with our venue space which was helpful. During the planning process, Denon & Doyle was extremely responsive and even offered a variety of different digital lay-outs, backgrounds, etc. from us to choose. (That was fun.) Our guests enjoyed the photobooth and made use of it. (This was a relief in itself.) Now everyone has some great keepsakes from the night. Also occupied our guests while waiting for dinner to be served, etc. The booth came with its own props and attendant, so as the wedding planner/bride, that gave me peace of mind that the thing was self-sufficient and operating. I especially appreciated the 'Photobooth' sign above the booth itself signifying exactly where the booth was located so that our guests could easily find it. A line did form, but according to some of our guests, it was not too much of a problem. Set-up and takedown happened. Without my noticing, the photobooth just appeared and then disappeared. There was a complaint the night of that people were getting cut off from the print-out photos. After notifying Denon & Doyle of this, they kindly compensated us by providing print outs of all of our guests and a coffee table book free of charge! Rare to find a company that really takes care of their customers nowadays. Highly recommended. read more

D&D is an awesome and fun company! We are so glad that we chose to book their walk-up photobooth for our wedding. At the time, it was a new machine, but we knew we needed a booth that can take pictures of a bunch of people at time. Our guests had so much fun using it and this includes guests of all ages! It was so simple to use that a bunch of the little kids used it too! Even my 4-year old nephew had pics taken! We loved the ease of the booth since guests just had to select a color, pose then wait 5 seconds for it to print. We used the pictures for the guestbook and loved viewing the pages the day after the wedding. So many people have asked for their information for their events too. We hired Denon and Doyle for our wedding at Cornerstone Gardens on 4/28/12. We can't say enough about Richard Baines. We heard him DJ at a friend's wedding last year and went up to him to ask where he worked. Not only does he keep the crowd dancing, but he is incredibly professional and helpful. He brought my husband and I glasses of champagne while we were getting pics taken after the ceremony to make sure we got something to drink. He even held the train of my dress up at times while I walked! We were really happy with him during our wedding.
