Parking is the biggest challenge and it is very limited. There are only a few spots in front of the diner and because the building is small the lot fills up quickly. I did see people parking near the neighboring convenience store but I was not sure about the rules there so I waited until a spot opened up. You may also need to look for street parking nearby if it is busy. Also do not block the side of the building because there is a drive through window. Once inside the atmosphere is welcoming and clean. There was a cute Christmas tree near the ordering area and the staff were warm friendly and attentive. The tables were very clean with checker style tablecloths. They also had a perfect health inspection score which stood out to me. For food I had the fried trout fried shrimp green beans and fries. Everything was very tasty and well seasoned. The only note is that the trout is not filleted so there were quite a few bones. A piece of white bread on the side would really help with that. My husband had the cheesesteak and fries and it was honestly one of the best cheesesteaks I have ever had. We shared plates and everything we tried was good no complaints. Drinks were also good. The cups are a bit small but refills are free so that balances it out. Since this is a diner and you are dining in they bring your food and beverages to your table. If you need a refill they will take care of it and bring it out to you. I would strongly recommend leaving a tip if you are paying with card or dropping some cash in the tip jar because they are hardworking and kind people. Overall I would give this place a 10 out of 10. It is a small quaint diner with great food great service and good energy. I will definitely be back and plan to try more items on the menu next time.

I had takeout for 3 people and everything was prepared fresh. All orders combined we had shrimp, cheesesteak, wings, fried okra, potato salad and fries. The potato salad was like mama had made it. Seasoned just right and made you say hmmmm!! The shrimp were nicely seasoned and cooked. The fried okra was as good as any I've had. Seems like these folks do everything well. I was tempted by the desserts, but I resisted. There was a nice crowd at lunch time on a Tuesday ... I will definitely be back.

Every time we visit our family in North Carolina, we have to stop here to have breakfast. I always get a bacon egg and cheese. They also have so many different combinations you can come up with for your biscuit. I also started following them on an Instagram they just made and they also have French toast and pancakes. That's on our list next time. This place is so awesome. It's only a drive-through and the service is so quick. It's a small little Mom pop shop that you could get quality biscuits.

These are not your typical light and fluffy buttermilk biscuits. No, these biscuits are thick and dense, but in the BEST way. And they are HUGE!!! I ate off of my bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit all day long - literally. It took me that long to eat the entire thing. I don't know how people go here and order more than one item with a biscuit. I was STUFFED! This place is a true gem and a definite must try! While it may not look nice and fancy on the outside, don't let that fool you! The staff are some of the nicest, sweetest, hospitable people you'll ever meet! And you know a place is good when the line is literally down the street! Seriously! It moved so fast though! I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in Wilson! FYI - this place is cash only! No cards accepted.

With that, the photos aren't the best as the food didn't show up picture perfect. HOWEVER - it didn't take from the TASTE of the food! Oh boy - if you are looking for that southern dish you remember from childhood as a country kiddo - here you go! The only item I wouldn't get again is the black eyed peas - they were bland and we don't do no seasoning! Which was odd because everything was seasoned so well. The fried green tomato sandwich with pimento cheese - big back activated! The flavors melted together with each bite - I'm thinking of getting another one right now. The hamburger steak AND the burger you can tell were freshly prepared with real meat. Seasoned down. So good. The star of the show - the dang on chicken salad. It's not overly sweet, it's real chicken, it's perfect texture - it's all the things needed to enjoy a nice serving of it without having to add something to compensate. We will be back.
