Food is always excellent. Tastes great and is always priced fairly. Unfortunately the only Dennys nearby so it's always packed and service is slow. You'll wait around a long time for a refill even if it's water.. and to get a to go box or even your check. Wait staff is always on the go / never found. The bussers usually help grab extra items for the servers which helps out. read more

We arrived at 9:50 and were made to wait for 25 minutes while the kitchen caught up. They seated no one at all during this time. Then they started seating people with the restaurant almost empty except for people waiting to be seated. The server took our order and we watched as many people were served and we were ignored. After 20 minutes waiting on our food, I flagged the server down and she went to get our food. She brought the order and it was not our order. She left the pancakes, which tasted like they had been heated in the microwave, to get our correct order. She brought an order, which obviously was not ours because our order had been placed 30 minutes earlier. The food was ok but not really that good. I will not go back. read more

I ordered from the Denny's drive thru today. My order was pretty simple, 1 slamburger, 1 grand slam and 1 grand slam Jr with chocolate chip pancakes. When we started eating at home, we were only a couple of bites in when my wife kinda shrieks in digust and pointed at her fries. There was a cigarette in her meal. Now while the cigarette was clearly unused, I'm sure you can understand how disgusted we were by this. I decided to contact Denny's and let them know how I could resolve this. I called the number I found on Google and was greeted by a younger gentleman. I will admit I was a little upset and showed my frustration to the young man who answered my call. I wasn't so much upset about the cigarette but mainly more upset about the inconvenience. I let him know the situation and he placed me on hold to get his manager. A couple of minutes after a lady let's me know that their manager isn't available and asked kindly if I could call back in 15 minutes. I responded with a fat no. I get placed on hold again and shortly after the young man jumps back on the call and let's me know that their manager is actually not in the building and, "went to the bank." Its Sunday. I let the man know I'm staying on the line and he then says the manager will return in 5 minutes. I waited on hold for about 20 minutes before I decided to drive down there and handle this situation in person because we clearly weren't getting anywhere over the phone. Now I got there let the person in front know what I found in my food. It took one puzzled look from the guests sitting in the waiting area for the manager to pop out from the corner they were hiding in and refund me my money. It may not seem like a lot on paper but this experience has me really regretting my early morning breakfast decision and while I'm still unsure if ill be eating at a Denny's establishment anytime soon, I'm definitely staying away from this one read more

I know right? It's a greasy diner. But how do mess up breakfast? This Dennys does it easily. I ordered ice water in addition to Coke Zero, and the French toast combo. Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, three pieces of French toast, a side of hash browns. At first, I ordered hot tea for a drink. They couldn't find any tea bags. Was I the first one to order hot tea at 10:30 in the morning? So the plastic cup with ice water had a crack from the rim down. I didn't drink it. The French toast came and had a nice generous amount of butter on top. As I spread it around, it didn't melt and sink into the surface. Bad sign. The hash browns were nice and crispy looking. Also cold. Not even warm. Meat was not warm, but that's ok. The eggs were good. They were still warm. I reported the cracked water glass and ask that it be thrown away. Oh, this was the 2nd time in 3 visits that they presented ice water in a broken cup. Upon going up front to pay, I told the cashier that I had a 20% of coupon that I had received by email. I did join the Dennys wifi, but my phone would not connect for some reason, cause the email would not display the code that the cashier needed. Apparently I was the first person to bring this up as well. She just said "sorry" didn't ask the mgr or anything. That's the only reason I went to Dennys, because of the coupon. That's the last time I'll go there. No Stars! read more

I gave Dannys in Weslaco three stars. the reason I gave them three stars is my daughter and I went to go have dinner I decided I wanted to have breakfast, so I ordered the lumberjack and my daughter ordered a steak with fries and the fresh fruit well after sitting there for over an hour watching peoples food come and then leave my coffee had not been refilled. The girl kept making excuses as she would come up to the people next to us say I'm sorry I have a Lotta tables never asking if we needed a refill. Try to catch her attention, but she was too fast, I sat there with a cold cuppa coffee which made me sick. I told a young lady I don't feel well. I think I'm going home she said no your food is about to come out an hour later and I told her I can't eat it I don't feel good. She told me it's OK we can pack it to go. I was hesitant because if I wanted something to go, I would've gone to, a fast food restaurant which would've been McDonald's Chick-fil-A or even canes chicken which is even better lol from what I got today she gave us the steaks saying that it was so hot so we can take home we get home. Of course my food is not hot which is my lumberjack breakfast the steak was piping hot the french fries were not done. It seems like they did not finish cooking them. They threw them in a plastic container. Put pepper on top of them forgot to give us our fruit salad that went with the steak. Therefore, my daughter ended up eating nothing but the steak left the fries behind because they were raw if I wanted to cook at home I would've gone down to the store picked up the same food for half what I paid there and made it at home sometimes I guess it's better to eat at home than it is to eat out there sorry Dannys but you guys need to do improvement on your customer service and your cooks. After 10 hours of work, and an hour drive later, I came to this dennys to get some good food. I ordered the $4 breakfast with assist of $3 fries (crazy price) However as I got My food I noticed the fries are of different texture, VASTLY dry and unflavored, very disgusting. So they made me feel nasty, after I paid for my disgusting meal. Upon leaving I spoke with the MANAGER, he asked if everything was good. I spoke with him about the very small amount of fries, and how the flavor was AWFUL. He then explained "yes, we haven't had our own fries for about 2 days now ; we ran out ". And that, was my icing on the cake. After a huge TERRIBLE day & this is 2am by now and I got court in 5 hours. Horrible HORRIBLE experience, last time I orders fish here and it was EXTREMELY cooked wrong. Never again well I go to ANY dennys restaurant, NEVER. MY SPOUSE lives this place but I'll be DAMNED if we ever go back to dennys. I still paid FULL PRICE!! $3 FOR SHIT FRIES!!! read more

I ordered a moons over my hammy sand which with hash browns. When our order came out the hash browns looked and tasted like they've been sitting out for a while. Probably had been cooked and sitting there for a while. Service was great and food came out fast. (Probably cause some of it was already cooked just sitting there). read more

Ok. Seriously!!! They need more waiters and waitresses at this location. They need more than one cook. And the waitress should not be taking out her anger on the customers , and inviting her boyfriend just to make out. Especially on Christmas night, we got out of midnight mass and went to this Denny's. HORRIBLE MISTAKE!!!!! When we got here there was only one waitress and one cook. We went this Dennys one morning and the pancakes were like rubber. They used to be good, but obviiously when they get busy they make up a batch and then warm them in the micro wave. This turns them into rubber We went back a couple .of weeks later. No one was there to seat us so we took the first table near the hostess area and cash register. After sitting for about 10 minutes we got up and left. This location used to be notorious for letting you sit there and age. In the future if we have to eat out it will be a breakfast toaster at Sonic where we get better food, better service and less expensive food. read more

My family and I had dinner last night at this location it was unbelievably AWFUL! I didn't expect something like this here, we were going to go somewhere else but I told my family they have good food here OMG!! My burger was so dry and cold I had to leave it there, my daughter's spaguetti was so cold that the pasta turned into balls.
