We tried this Dennys yesterday. The restaurant was really dirty. The blinds on the windows need to be cleaned. The tables were sticky and dirty. An employee was stretched out on one of the booths taking a nap. The food was less than average and very expensive. The owners need to take some pride in their restaurant. read more

Wow, who knew? I've been eating Hobbit Slams on the road for years! Two egg whites (more like a half dozen), two "hearty wheat" pancakes (i would like to know why, however, there needs to be 900+ mg of sodium in pancakes) and great oatmeal. Makes the day brighter. I do wish Missouri did not allow smoking, but that is not Denny's fault; although, they could fix that...just sayin'. His hash browns made him smile, and she sang him the Lumberjack song, just for giggles. read more

We had a party of 30 who decided to have a meet up. Dennys was chosen because some of us worked late. A few of us arrived around 9pm when the manager rudely said, "we just had a party of 15, we don't need to do a party of 30!" The only reason we were allowed to stay was because the waitress said we could. Once we were all seated in the smoking section, the manager then came over and rudely stated our party could not smoke. Even though their smoking hours started at 9pm. We said have a good night while leaving to the rude manager and all she said was, "yup". The head manager here needs to fire the night management for the denial of business/service. Who denies business to people for the lack of "you would make my night too busy"? The flavor of food at this location is below average compared to the Warrenton and Jonesburg location's. The waitress was average in attentiveness. Her attitude was fair for having a large party which is acceptable imo. I did make sure to tip her well being that she was accommodating. The restaurant was clean thus visit. The other staff was friendly and had a good additude. I do not recommend coming to this location unless you must. read more

I've always never had a good experience with this Denny's but today was so bad where I had to leave a review. To start off we had to wait 10 minutes before we got seated while there was open seats all over the restaurant. After getting seated the waitress brought us drinks the took a bit for her to come back and get our order. After we order she disappeared to god knows where. No refills or anything. After 20 minutes go by we ask the host what's taking so long and she said let me go check. Then she came back and said she's having the waitress check on it. After 40 minutes of waiting the waitress came out and said she forgot to hand in our ticket and the cooks just got it. At this point we've already been waiting so long we decided to just leave. So if you have a hour to wait for food then this is the place for you! read more

Dennys is the best place ever for late nights and the occasional breakfast! The food is always good and fresh! Every time I go there I am never disappointed... well besides once... First off ordered a 10 piece pancake puppy and the cook was arguing with the server that it was supposed to be a 6. I clearly heard her state that it was a 10. Then when we got our main meals everything was cold. I didn't end up eating much of anything because I was afraid of getting sick. It was almost as if the food was just warmed up, and not even all the way. The waitress was polite and took care of everything, which she didn't have to do. Epic fail. Remodel amazing. Service sucks. Epic sucks. I run restaurants for a living and understand the challenges of hiring and training servers. It's not hard to care about your job. Raspberry tea is amazing burgers are good breakfast items are good. Nachos are inconsistent at best. Sometimes you will find the one cook who will stir the chips and actually Cook them completely however we eat there 1x every two weeks and I order the exact same thing every time to gauge consistency and I am a creature of habit. In 14 orders of nachos 1x only did the chips get cooked and drained properly. The toppings cover the poor chip cooking and therefore I tolerate it. If you could go there and eat and not have to deal with the shitty service the score might be higher read more

New building. Sucky service. Noon on a Tuesday and I have gotten better service at 3am at the Denny's in Wood River IL. Took 10 min to be seated and once we were it was 5 more before the waitress asked (annoyed) "What do you want to drink?" The people in the next booth were seated after our drink order was taken and another waitress was asking what they wanted to drink before their butts made an imprint in the booth seat. We left. Won't ever go back. Avoid at all costs. Shame to waist all the remodeling and not have a quality staff. read more

If I could give zero stars that's what I would give. After sitting for over an hour waiting on our food. It came out cold, we asked several times if the food sitting under the warmer was ours and our waitress Destiny said no trust her she knew. Turns out that was our food and they tried to serve it to us. Also ordered 2 appetizers one came out fairly quickly the other didn't come out again we had to ask if that was ours and she assured us that it was not, turns out that was ours as well. Avoid Denny's and definite love avoid having Destiny as your waitress! All of this after we had to wait 15 minutes for someone to wait on us and the three waitresses had to chat about who's table we were! Turns out we drew the short straw with Destiny!! read more

Sorry to say this is one of those restaurants in Lincoln County that allows smoking all over the restaurant. It is so bad you can smell it in the parking lot before you even go into the restaurant. We walked in the front door and immediately had to turn around and leave. read more
