The service is always good here. There's no other Denny's employees that stands out at other locations. It was nice coming back into the city to make a stop at our usual Denny's on N. First Street & Brokaw Rd. San Jose, CA. Afterall, it's the most convenient one near San Jose Mineta Airport. Our lady server was experienced and professional. We enjoyed our Grand Slam 2-Eggs Breakfast as well as the Breakfast Crepe. Delicious. Order came out within 6 minutes after hot coffee and water. We also ordered a takeout Breakfast. Everything is still affordable and Denny's has made the menu look colorful and good for marketing. Music was playing in the background. Customers looked like they were also enjoying this weekend. As regular customers, we are always happy and fully satisfied after dining in. The staffs do make a huge difference here. The downside would be the ghetto looking hotel in back side parking lot area. That place never changed. You'll never know what kind of people are roaming around, especially at night since it's very close to the 101 freeway ramps and gas station. At least you can still park in the public lot behind Denny's. There's also a newer hotel to the right side of Denny's, so it's convenient for local breakfast stops. For dining inside Denny's, it's still satisfying. Plenty of tables and seats. We come here for the employees and tip them very well. Happy place. read more

Our daughter eats the birthday cake pancakes and bacon from Denny's. We rarely visit, when at a hotel we try to locate the best options for her palette. Denny's, a minute walk from where we are staying, was the best option for her. Typically, the pancakes are mini with a confetti frosting. Today, there were three regular sized pancakes with the cream cheese confetti frosting. The pancakes looked reheated, previously frozen. She usually eats them all, tonight she ate all the frosting and finished half of one. The bacon she enjoyed. Not sure if it is the location's quality, Denny's change in quality or what, I know our daughter did not enjoy her meal as normal. I got the Choconana Pancake Slam and it was so good! The pancakes were delicious, the bananas were fresh, and the hash browns and eggs were cooked just right. The sausage was delicious too! The owner is super friendly, welcoming, and always helping her staff. The staff are always smiling and friendly as well. It's calm and not too loud inside, so you can really enjoy your meal. The Denver omelette, hashbrowns, and toast were what I expected from a Denny's. No problem with that. But if you're going to ask for a tip of 18%, 20%, or 22% on the payment terminal, there are some minimum standards that need to be met: I shouldn't be waiting 20 minutes for the food only to then get part of my order brought out. And I think refilling my water at least once during the meal isn't too much to ask. Maybe you were busy. Or maybe you're also operating two other ghost kitchens out of this establishment and your kitchen can't keep up. In any case, one star. read more

Thought this place was nice... No music or anything so it felt a little awkward. The food came fast--no problems with that. I only spotted 2 workers, and they stayed in the back for the most part. The food is consistent, the service is great and the establishment is kept clean! As with all brunchy places in San Jose, be prepared for a wait on the weekends during brunchy hours. That's a given. What to expect (it's San Jose!): -Waiting on weekends during brunch hours -unhoused patrons on the outskirts, mainly tagging for the free WiFi -weird parking arrangements (shared with a sketch motel in the backside -not so safe parking (bring your valuables inside!) Our service was amazing. Probably one of the best service I had at a Denny's. My friends and I got breakfast here before our trip to Monterey. I got a Fit Slam with substitution of cheese instead of tomatoes. It was an overall good meal. The egg whites, the spinach, the cheese were good. OK check this out..I was in San Jose recently and am an early riser, I ended up at Denny's by the San Jose Airport because they were open very early. I ordered the chicken fried steak breakfast and it was clean and flavorful (not the best but good enough). The customer service was very good and attentive to refilling my coffee, asking If I needed anything else, etc..- the place is clean and comfortable.
