Nephi is a small town so not a lot of dining options but Denny's is a staple. Easy to get to being right off I-15 and lots of parking, even for folks towing horses or camping trailers. (There's also a Pilot station next door.) Service was quick, and my server Wendy was excellent--friendly, helpful and attentive. My order arrived quickly and was tasty. My only disappointment was no smoothies, which I also discovered at several other Denny's in both UT and NV. I haven't been to Denny's in years. It was very nostalgic walking in. A lot of great memories here! And it was so nice to create another one tonight. The store was so very clean! And our server Harmony was fantastic. Very kind, very prompt, and very professional... Even the manager Gina approached us and asked if we needed anything. You just don't see that kind of service a lot these days, so it was pleasant to receive it. Lastly, I was excited to see a lot of the same items on the menu that I used to love so much! We always stop here on our way through town on the way to Vegas. Everyone here is friendly the food is always great and the place is always clean no matter what time of day it is. The managers I have talked to Gina and judy are fun to joke around with. The male manager is usually helping cook when we come in so we haven't had a chance to formally meet him. Everyone was very nice. We were greeted and seated promptly. Kallie was our waitress and she was very efficient and personable. She recommended nachos for me and they were delicious! My husband had the diner dippers and he really enjoyed them. The restaurant was spotless, the ambiance was good, the restroom was bright and clean. The water got hot very quickly, there was plenty of soap in the soap dispenser and the paper towel dispenser was generous. I travel up and down the I-15 often. This is probably the best Denny's I've been to. And conveniently located next to a flying J truck stop. Most importantly it's open 24 hours. Nice wooden beam interior. Quiet. And my waitress Jenna was just a pleasure. Quite in contrast to the Dennys down in St.George. Service was very good, fast and friendly staff. I ordered chicken fried steak and eggs. The chicken fried steak was extra greasy, the hashbrowns were browned on the top and raw underneath. I said the eggs were the only decent part....until I found a hair in them. Needless to say, I left 90% of the food on my plate. My husband ordered pancakes and they were cold. This restaurant used to be a decent place to stop for breakfast with really good chicken fried steak. We usually drive by Nephi at least 3 or 4 times a month and I would now rather go to McDonald's and order 8 breakfast sandwiches than stop at Denny's. read more
