I previously had posted a bad review of this restaurant but the last two times I have gone service was much better. Order was correct and waitress was great. I asked her if there had been a change in management and she said yes. New management has taken over. I told her you can really tell the difference! Doesn't even deserve one star. What little customer service they have is slow and terrible. To my surprise I was seated right away. That is where it stops. There was one party of two people and one of four people that were seated after me. Both of those parties orders were taken before mine. Five minutes after the second party ordered I was still waiting to place my order. There were time that I noticed the waitress just standing and looking around, but never in my direction. It's a Denny's, what can you expect? It's convenient that it's open 24 hours. They have good prices. Food is decent. Not a lot of variety on the menu. And not very pleasant to be hearing and witnessing the manager yelling at the kitchen staff. It's distracting and makes some people feel uncomfortable. When there's a lot of customers there, they get kind of overwhelmed and fall behind even though they're fully staffed. I've seen people leave after being tired of waiting. I can tell that they're trying, but still need some tweaking in the service and overall way they run things. read more

Came into an empty restaurant. Like complete dead. Still was seated at a dirty table. Out waitress never came. Instead some guy working here and another waitress kept arguing loudly behind the counter in front of us. Just constantly bickering. At one point the waitress yelled "shut up a**hole!" I ordered a salad when the guy finally came around, then he proceeded to go to the back and argue with a waitress about how to properly clean the salad bowls and put a salad together, while I sit here wondering if my food will turn out sanitary. I completely understand that this place opened up 6 weeks ago, but clearly the Owner/Manager does not know how to pick a staff. My Wife and I arrived early Sunday morning and there were only about 3 cars in the parking lot. Just a few people in the restaurant at the time. When we walked in, three people were standing by the cash register and ignored us until finally one of them noticed we were standing there looking stupid. First thing I notice are all the cameras. Normally businesses such as restaurants have cameras pointed at the front door or register because of theft, but there were cameras in the seating area, up front, behind the counter. What is the reasoning behind this? Are the employees and manager sitting back in the office watching people eat and making fun of them? Does the owner not trust his employees and have to keep an eye on them? I counted at least 7 servers, 5 cooks, 2 hosts and a bus boy working and two managers. I presumed the owner was trying his hardest to ensure service to the customers, but he failed miserably, perhaps lack of knowledge of the restaurant business. I had a simple Denny's Breakfast and I mean simple, as there was barely enough food for a child. I asked for my eggs well done, and clearly they were well done and overcooked as you can tell by the picture. It took at least 30 minutes for our breakfast to arrive with no one in the restaurant except a few tables when we arrived. The hashbrowns were hanging off the plate and only one side of the hash browns were cooked. Underneath they were still raw and cold. My generous portion of two strips of bacon tasted awful and after one bite I started choking. The bacon tasted really strange and I didn't eat any more. Portions are way too small, I presume the owner is trying to cut costs with all the inadequate staff he has employed. But having a lot of people working does not guarantee good service, a little advice to the owner. One more thing. You have to enter Lowe's parking lot in order to get to Denny's. Seemed kinda strange. read more

This is the new Denny's. It smells, the food is expensive for what you get and not worth it. After waiting about 15 minutes (which is great!) to be seated, it took 20-25 minutes for our drink order to be taken so we preceded to order our food since we were ready. They weren't packed, there were open tables. It then took another 10 minutes before our drinks were delivered. We sat for over an hour for our food. The General manager did absolutely nothing to help the situation but acted like a "rush on our food" would make a difference. Our waitress made excuses that someone didn't show up for a shift. Being a waitress myself, I know what's acceptable and what's not and putting horrible service on someone else is a sad pitiful excuse. My suggestion, go back to Bob's Diner by the interstate. read more

Good food and good service, but they are requiring people to wear masks while you walk from the entrance of the restaurant to your table, after that you can take the mask off and aren't required to wear it anymore. They are turning people away because they aren't wearing masks. The sign outside the restaurant only says to "please wear masks" not "masks required". If they are going to require people to wear masks then the management there should also wear masks and wear them correctly. Some employees are also seating people even if they aren't wearing masks, if they are going to kick people out for not wearing masks they should be fair with all customers not just some. read more

My GF and I Went to Denny's Saturday Morning the 7th of October. We ordered the Grand Slam Slugger and the Strawberries and Cream Pancakes, Scrambled eggs w/cheese, and Hashbrowns extra crispy. While the Waitress was very cordial, she was very slow in getting our food out. The Grand slam and the strawberry and cream pancakes came out first. Then about 10 minutes later we had to remind her that our scrambled eggs w/cheese and extra crispy hashbrowns had not come out yet. She went and grabbed the other food but by the time it came out the eggs were cold and had no cheese even though the receipt clearly reflected we had ordered cheese and the hasbrowns were also cold in the middle and soggy even though we had ordered them extra crispy. We kindly asked the server to take the food back as it was not cook as we ordered. She removed the eggs and hashbrowns from our receipt and only charged us for the Strawberry and Cream Pancakes which as an ala carte item was almost as much as the combo. My 2 eggs over easy were extremely runny the bacon was soggy and chewy. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. It was an absolutely dreadful experience. read more

I would rate this place higher, but the service has gotten progressively worse. My first time here during a slammed busy grand opening we got put food within 7 minutes. Every since then it only gets longer 10, 12, 15, 25 minutes now for two plates of food. The staff never keeps you in the loop or checks on you. They just look at you and go back to work.
