January 3, 2025: 1. My husband and I walked into the subject Dennys for breakfast. We set at put table approx 9:50. 2. The female server came with no smile in an indifferent attitude asked what we wanted. I said regular coffee for my husband and decaf for me. 3. She came back to take our orders. I asked if I could just have waffles and she said yes since it's not listed on the menu. She then asked, '..just waffles, no eggs, anything, fruit...' I said, '..no eggs, sausages, nothing..you can put some berries if they are included...' I then asked, '..since it's not on the menu, can you tell me the price?' She said, 'I don't know. I need to punch into the computer to get it...' 4. Approx 10:11, my husband's order came. The server said, 'Yours would be up soon...' Mine came about 3 to 5 min later. The server said, 'You're only supposed to get one, we give you two...' 5. We were sitting at a table that had a clear view of the kitchen. There was no time that the counter was full of dishes that customers ordered, which means they were not busy as the Managerclaimed. 6. The Manager happened to walked by our table and asked how everything was. Meanwhile, the server presented our bill and the waffle was $8.59 something. I was shocked. I explained to her what we had experienced. She said the waffles were a new item for them, so it's not on the menu. The berries cost extra. 7. My complaint was that: * The server should have disclosed the actual price of the waffles; * The server should have explained that berries were extra. * The restaurant was not that bust since we could see clearly the movements at the kitchen from where we sat. * There was NO ADEQUATE SERVICE to speak of, from the server to the manager. I do lodge complaint when the Sevice is totally not acceptable; which is not often. I'm hoping that Dennys Managenent focuses on Service Excellence training. Your customers deserve it. By the way, we went to a newly opened Dennys a while back in Goodyear and the service, from top to bottom, was very good! Thank you. Linda read more

loved the service!! loved the food! our waitress beth s. was great and asking us repeatedly about if we good or need something else

I get it was busy. We waited about 15 minutes to be seated. Once seated we were ignored. Not greeted. Nothing. The table next to us got sat after us. Had their drinks and their food. We waited maybe 20 minutes then just left. read more

So I ordered on Uber eats from a company called Burger Den not knowing this part of Denny's. Until I went to make a review. Denny's itself is a good place but the burgers from Burger Den was extremely good I made my own and got a Swiss cheeseburger with lettuce and Mayo I added ketchup and caramelized onion honestly the seasoning on it was just as good. Frys tasted like Denny's fries but definitely enjoyed the burger read more

Bypass this place, service SUCKED!! 1st cup of coffee was lukewarm, had to ask for a hot cup. Told server I wanted to wait a bit before I ordered. Ok, when I was ready to order he was nowhere to be found! I had to pay almost $4 for 1 cup of coffee, never asked if I wanted more. DONT GIVE THEM YOUR SERVICE! read more

We've eaten at this location for years (Litchfield Rd, Goodyear). Don't know if someone was out sick or something today, but a family of 4 ahead of me and I waited over 10 minutes for anyone to acknowledge us or seat us. Plenty of tables, just no one chose to meet or greet us. I work for a Fortune 50 company and have trained customer service reps for over 35 years. I'm a patient person, but such service is simply unacceptable. This restaurant usually does much better than this. Once seated, the waitress was awesome and food was good. Then when time to pay at the register, I waited again for almost 5 minutes - and there were several newly arrived customers waiting to be seated as well who seemed a bit unhappy at the wait. I get it... sometimes people call off sick leaving you short staffed. But there needs to be a contingency plan in place when this happens to avoid arriving customers having long waits to be greeted and seated and to promptly take payments from departing customers. I'll extend some grace this one time, but if this happens again, I'll be taking my business elsewhere and you'll lose a customer of 28+ years. Thank you for asking for my feedback. read more

I cant say enough great things about Shaun he was so wonderful he made me and my girl feel welcome. Last Sunday was crazy all over Goodyear for breakfast. So we went to Dennys the food was good and the service was the best. Sitting at the counter we noticed that a few waitresses were on the phone and going in and out of the back. Well not Shaun he helped out made is feel welcome Thanks read more

#1 This restaurant is dirty. From the floor on up. Even the silverware is disgusting. #2 The service is so slow. You start to wonder if you're invisible. #3 The food is barely warm, including the coffee. I ordered an English muffin with my breakfast and there was such a huge glob of butter on it I couldn't eat it. Take a look at the picture! The muffin was so cold the butter wouldn't melt. At first I thought it was cheddar cheese. Stay away from this Dennys. You'll be glad you did. read more

Angelica did such a great job. She was friendly, kind and on top of her customer experience. Thank you!!!!

Excellent service as always. Staff is very kind. And who doesn't love Dennys ? Thank you.

Not my first choice I enjoy eating at Dennys on ocassion. I am always greeted quickly, seated almost immediately, and the food has always been somewhat good. However, this Denny's just is not one of my favorites. The service is poor and the food just wasn't very good. It took over 30 minutes to get an order of Pancakes and the place wasn't very crowded. When I asked for warm syrup it was given to me in a bottle that had about an inch thick of crust around the lid. Needless to say I wasn't using that syrup that day. All in all Dennys offers good value for your money, reasonable prices, and short waits (except on Sunday mornings). If your looking for a quick and reasonable breakfast, stop by, just dont stop bt this Dennys. read more

If I could leave no stars I would. Hostess was rude the server took forever to bring our food and when they did bring it all of it was cold! Did not come and see if we need anything else! Not enough staff and everyone looks upset. Never going back there! read more

Victor was a friendly and attentive waiter for us on a busy Sunday morning, would come back again!

We had kerrie as our server, she was great, she needs a raise, she has excellent costumer service!

Every once in a while, even the most familiar chains, will do something to impress me. That's why I'm Yelping about the Denny's near Litchfield Road and I-10. In a nutshell, it involves coffee and a ridiculous hour in the AM. This past Veteran's Day, my girlfriend and I decided to join her father for a flag raising ceremony at dawn. You don't say no to a Marine. And, you don't say no to a Marine when he wants to grab a bite to eat on the way. Which is why we found ourselves at Denny's at 5:00 in the morning. Denny's was an easy choice because it was convenient to where we were headed. And it's familiar enough to keep everyone in our group happy. And let's be honest. Denny's is Denny's. The classic rock bopping in the background keeps with their diner theme. Even if it was a little oppressive to those of us struggling to wake up. Now, about that coffee... It's good. It's very good. And our waitress was very attentive and kept it topped off the whole time. If this was just about coffee, we'd be looking at five stars. The food was about what you'd expect. It's average and my scrambled eggs were a little runnier than I would like. But the pancakes made up for the other shortcomings (soggy bacon). Seriously, Denny's pancakes are better than I remember! Despite the pre-dawn hour, we were re-acquainted with an old friend. The coffee and pancakes plus the friendly service were more than enough to make me want to drop in again... After the sun rises. read more

These ladies work hard. Sunday late at night and they were not slowing down. We had to wait because they were clearly understaffed, but Victoria D who was also our server was so kind and did a great job attending to us that we did not mind the wait. Thank you for a great late dinner! read more

Horrible horrible horrible. Went today for breakfast. We got seated around 10:15, took about 10min before anyone came to take our drink order. Then another 10min to make an order even though we already knew what we wanted. It was 11:30 & still no food. We asked our waitress if there was an update with at least the appetizers & all she said was, "yeah its busy over there." Obviously its busy & we are not complaining about that but we look around us & people who have been seated after us were already eating. & our table was just 3 people. Very disappointed in all! read more

When you come into Denny's ask for Kerrie she was absolutely amazing!

We were greeted by a lady I'm assuming the manager yelling at the employees that no one could take their break. We then were called on the speaker and when we walked up the male attending the waiting list proceeded to tell us that they had been calling our name. Which they had not? We went to be seated and the table had not been cleaned. The lady came and took care of it and she was about the only employee that had any hustle. Our waitress Joann was no where to be found. People had been seated after us and were already sipping on their coffee, before she finally made an appearance to tell us she would be right with us. Probably about 10 minutes of waiting she finally came over and took our order. Food was decent but customer service is non existent. read more

This was the worst service ever the waitress could care less about serving us even after asking twice for two different items to not get it. After bringing the issue to the mgr it got worse OMG I could not believe in these days and time a waitress could be so not caring we own our on restaurant this would not happen period truly disappointed but upper Mgmt allowed it and that's why it will continue read more

Cinnamon pancakes didn't look the same as the picture. It was a lot smaller and the brown sugar crumble was very hard. The bottom also tasted like onion or someone else's order like the cook was cooking a burger or onions and didn't clean the grill well enough that the bottom of my pancakes tasted like onions. I tried to enjoy it but it was gross. Waitress was also MIA sometimes and we had to ask for more water before she gave us our check. read more

Ordered to-go had a chicken wrap , OVER FRIED! Had a the buffalo dipping sauce ! Did not put it in my bag. When I ordered the lady repeated it twice and wasn't in my bag. Also ordered a Slamburger, asked for an over-easy egg. Egg was fully cook! Seriously, why can't they just follow through with what customers ordered! There was NOBODY dinning in, only one table of two. And couldn't get my order right! So disappointed in this place. I only go here. Sav read more

Angelica was a good server and she was very bubbly and a very polite. she was prompt and the food was very tasty

Almost didn't come back to Dennys after the experience we had a few weeks ago with the service early in the morning, but decided to give it another chance. Glad we did, we walked in the door and we were immediately greeted by Anjelica, she seated us and was also our server. She was an amazing waitress, took care of the customers, tables and register. It was like night and day compared to a few weeks ago. She represents your company very well. read more

So we came here a couple weeks ago and the experience was not very good but I noticed they were short staffed and I chalked it up to being a COVID time and to not hold it against them. Well we decided to come here once again on Friday brunch time and my son and I ordered their new chicken Buffalo sand which or so we thought, our waitress dropped off the food and walked away.. again she was pretty busy and once we realized it wasn't what we ordered we tried to get someone's attention but it never happened so we forced the honey chicken sandwich and say forced as my son and I do not care for sweet on our chicken especially when we were looking forward to Buffalo, we ate half of the sandwich when the waitress Finally came so I asked her what did we order at first I was thinking maybe she didn't hear me correctly but she said Buffalo sandwiches I said we tried to eat these but it isn't what we ordered both of us had eaten half of the sandwich, she asked if I wanted to speak to a manager I said yes please, that never happened instead the waitress said our bill was discounted. Now I didn't expect her to take off our meals completely I mean we did eat half of the sandwich mostly because we were hungry and couldn't get anyone's attention, we get to the register and we were given a military discount, I explained to cashier how our experience went and she was going to go get the manager but I told her not to bother for the fact they didn't come out in the first place. I get most restaurants are struggling right now as most industries are but when you have costumers who are still trying to support... they should at least treat their customers right. read more
