Service was excellent. We were greeted by cheerful employees and seated promptly. The server was great, though I have one complaint I will list below. Our first stop was the bathroom. There was a large dead roach just outside the women's bathroom. The inside of the restaurant felt very dirty/sticky. I asked the waitress if their water was filtered and she quickly answered "yes"... it was NOT filtered water, as you could taste it. The kids didn't eat their waffles because they said they tasted like a funnel cake. The omelette was as expected for a Denny's omelette. I ordered the salmon with double broccoli because the menu showed "Alaska Salmon" and said it was wild caught and natural, etc... it did not taste like so. The salmon was very light pink (which to me says it's NOT wild). The menu gave me the impression it was Wild Alaskan Salmon company, so I ordered it, because it was advertised as so. I do not think it was from the company I thought it was. It has a very watered down taste, like it was in a water bath before being sealed and frozen. The broccoli was also obviously frozen broccoli, which is fine if that's how this company operates. I'm always disappointed when visiting Denny's and this time was Jo different. The food is always subpar and the restaurant inside needs some real TLC. This is at almost any and all locations I know. This time was no different. The service was incredibly slow me and my friend arrived at 11am and we didn't get our food till 12pm, and we didn't get our receipt to pay and leave until 12:30 which isn't completely unreasonable but we finished our food at 12:12 which is quite fast but it's probably because we waited an hour for our food to be brought out. Also the water that we asked for when we sat down that also took an hour to come out tasted really gross like polluted tap water. read more

This place is filthy. Everything is sticky, the water glass I received had food stuck to it, there is dust covering the window sills, greasy fingerprints on the doors. The water tasted like it literally came out of the toilet. Food was mediocre at best. Our server couldn't have been less interested in taking care of us. Went in on a whim on a quiet Wednesday night and was surprised by my experience! It was a bit empty but very clean and I was immediately greeted by the manger/cook Maria. She was extremely welcoming and helped me decide between two different menu options. I got the pancake value slam and it was the perfect amount of food for a late night dinner! The pancakes were WAY better than I remember them being from past Denny's experiences, fluffy and great buttermilk flavor! The eggs were also cooked perfect over hard. My husband and I loved to eat at Denny's, but lately the food has been terrible. October 14 2024, we went after a doctor's appt. There were'n't many people in the place at all, and only four in the room we were in. The waitress was good and very friendly, but I ordered the lumberjack, with over easy eggs, and my husband ordered chicken fried steak with corn on the side. We waited close to an hour before we got our food, and when we did, my egg was broken, with the yolk running over half the plate and congealing. I almost choked on the toast and bacon because they were so hard and it made me cough. The ham also was too hard to cut. The sausage was the only good thing on the plate. My husband was half way through his meal before he got the side order of corn. We will not be going to Denny's again, at least not the one in Calallen read more

Let me start by saying we HAD NEVER had bad experience here and we frequent this location ALOT! So we had a bad experience last week. And thought it was an isolated incident. Because we love this location, today on Fathers Day we order To Go. Because NO ONE answered the phone we used the ap. Once arrived at the location it took another 20 minutes to get our order ready in addition to the 45 minutes we waited due to the ap. I really tried to eat my burger but couldn't. It tasted terrible and was just a mess. It was like they shoved all my family's food into a canon and shot it into the boxes. The nachos we ordered came in two pieces. The chips, and the cheese/meat sludge. (It was supposed to come with sour cream and pico). I did not finish my food. I probably won't get my 70+ dollars back. We all worked into Denny's , We heard Hi Welcome to Denny's, that made the family feel so good, as we was walking to the table the server chatted.the whole way. The server Rolando Treated us like family. The food was hot fresh and very good, I had the lumber jack slam, he offered me cheese in the eggs, cheese and onions in the hash browns, strawberries on the pancake. I was so empressed, everything was so delicious. At the very end he offered as a shake to go, I'm so impressed. The GM Elizabeth really turned this Denny's Around, it was clean the atmosphere was great she walked around to each table making sure everything was ok!!!!!!! The scrambled eggs were AMAZING! but the rest of our food was poor. The toast and English muffin weren't really toasted, so it was more like dry bread. The pancakes were almost burnt and didn't taste good. They gave us cold syrup so the pancakes ended up cold. Bacon was undercooked too. I asked for extra crispy hash browns but those were undercooked as well. Just not a great meal except for the eggs. read more

7-7-23-Don't order take out from this Denny's near Hwy 77; zip-78410. They do not get the online orders correct. I ordered two big plates this allows an extra side. One order did not come with the extra side; I called them and they said you only order one big plate; I told them I am looking at the oder online right now I read off what it came with. Then she changes her mind since she knows I can see what I ordered and she said we can make you a new plate which means I have to go back. To get the correct order. Seated right away. Waitress was nice. I had their berry crepe breakfast. It's a lot of food if you get it with the hashbrowns, eggs, and bacon or sausage. The eggs and hashbrowns were done well. I asked for crispy bacon, and it wasn't quite right. The crepe was beautiful and tasted good. The vanilla creme was good, however, the strawberries were cold. This is my food it was like a hour almost a hour and half wait for our meal which it wasn't a big deal at all there busy but the fact that the waiters have told us what we did and didn't have is crazy like I think we know what we ordered. 2nd person review: He slammed the plates down on the table and yelled at me when I said what plate was mine. Also he looks like a queer. 3rd person review: there was a lady that came and she served us sweet tea that was lukewarm and tasted like they made it with water from the sink then she spilled the tea and came to wipe it down with napkins that didn't work at all it left the whole table so sticky and then the server yelled at us and was just plain rude. 4th person review: my orange juice tasted like it was spiked with Tito's vodka. 5th person review when I wanted to order something else the waiter went. "No, your getting this." And then proceeded to give me a different order recommendation. 6th person, after clearly stating I wanted mayo and the burger plain and dry, I got it back with completely melted cheese and no mayo ANYWHERE. And the fries were extremely cold. Tenders were greasy and burnt, made me feel nauseous, the wait was outrageous. 8 person/ took two hours to get our food. 9th person/ took too long to get our food and the pancakes weren't even worth the wait, it looked burnt yet under cooked and had no flavor, and the eggs had no flavor and also seemed undercooked, there is also a lot of people still waiting to get their food, all in all, not worth the wait and I may not come back here. 10th person: My pancakes were slightly undercooked and my eggs were really undercooked, bacon and sausage were really greasy and not good, servers ignored when I asked for a refill. read more

ok were to start I guess at the door ... we walked in and immediately was overwhelmed with the stench of sewage my husband wanted to leave then but I had just worked a 9 hr shift and needed to feed my children and i myself just wanted to sit down and eat so we stayed the place was not busy at all we sat down and looked threw the menus we ordered an appetizer our drinks took 4 ever the appetizer came be4 the drinks did i searched for a children's option in the menus for my youngest child but there were no children plates I chopped it up as they didn't have any I haven't been to a Dennys in almost 3 years things change so I had to order a adult meal for my child ... shortly after ordering another family with children older then mine sat across from us when my son pointed out mom how come those kids got crayons and color pages and we didn't I want to color he said when they took our order they didn't even bother to ask us if we wanted kids menus and even braught my young child a large adult glass while the other children got kids cups again my son pointed this out to me wanted a cup like the other kids because he then wasn't aloud to have his drink next to him and had to ask every time he wanted a sip by now I'm aggravated please keep in mind I myself just worked a 9 hr shift as a server myself who was 10x busier then these servers and had 10x better serves I know what it takes I've been a server for well over 20 years now our food has come out and again everyone has there food and my young son is still waiting keep in mind we are freezing and my kids are shivering at this point my husband made me try his pancakes and the tasted stale and microwaved we had enough at this point and asked for boxes to leave now this is were i struggled to not turn into a Karen upon leaving I was told oh kids eat free today oh wait you didn't order off the kids menus I DIDNT KNOW YOU HAD A KIDS MENUE UNTIL THE TABBLE NEXT TO US SAT DOWN WITH KIDS MENUES AND KIDS CUPS AND AT THIS POINT WE ALREADY ORDERED THERE REPLY WASNT EVEN TO NE SHE LOOKED AT ANOTHER SERVER AND SAID THIS IS WHY YOU DONT LET SO AND SO SEAT PEOPLE HE DOESNT DO IT RIGHT but it wasn't a man who sat us!!! then my bill was 90$ when my kids could have had kids meals instead of large adult meals they couldn't even finish our drinks were never once refilled I'm not the kind of person to leave a review but I will never ever eat at another dennys ever again this was one of my worst dinning experiences I've ever had read more
