My whole burger was filled with mold, but it only added flavor with hints of salt and moist feeling in my mouth, although I got extremely food sick. But that only makes me stronger, thanks burger king. The cashier called me "a stupid fat man" and it encouraged me to hit the gym more. We waited 25 minutes while the manager complained about how short staffed the next day would be, while making food for friends instead of taking care of customers who already paid. The bathrooms smelled like a two week old port-a-pot that had been sitting at the county fair in 100° temps. At least they were cleaner than the counters where food was being prepared. I don't live in calallen but am from outta town.. my experience there has been the best service I have experienced in many BKs I've gone to as I work in the medical field n need fast service hot food an excellent service all of which I got this Tuesday at 8:30 in the morning.. Quick exactly what I ordered n fast n even offered a crown that's awesome I felt special . Everyone seemed to working n not messaging on their phones or just standing there they were all doing great team work . Terrible experience. On lunch break I get in drive through and order the double bacon specialty burger meal and a whopper meal large with sweet tea and a sprite. They said they don't have large cups but will give me large fries. I pull up behind the person at the pay window and wait a solid 17 min. Once he leaves I pull up to drive through window and pay $21 and the cashier asks me what I ordered. I repeat what I had and they give me a bag with two sandwiches in it and two sweet teas, and say have a good day. I say I'm sorry I should have large fries in here for my meals. They said oh I'm so sorry and took the bag back and gave me two small fries. I didn't notice until I had already left. The cook had to remake my order when I first pulled up because they gave it away to the wrong person. I get home and start eating and the sandwich barely has any cheese or sauce. It's nearly dry. Dine in was closed not sure if it's always closed but went to drive thru. They made me wait well over five min till I decided to leave, there were zero cars in the drive thru. We've been there once before and food was cold and waited over 25 min. We thought that long we would get fresh hot fries. Not enjoyable at all. Corporate needs to come in and fix this location up. We stopped here on the way to S Padre last week. We waited approximately 20 minutes for chicken nuggets, fries and a Whopper. One of the orders of fries was missing, so we had to go back in. The food was hot and fresh. The inside of the restaurant was messy. No condiments or napkins were in the bag. We stopped again on the way back from S Padre today. We didn't wait as long for food this time, but they did leave something out of the order again. From the 10 minutes I stood there, that seemed to be a trend. Nobody's order was complete. The employees are kind, but seem overwhelmed despite the fact that it wasn't very busy. Maybe it's lack of training and organization. The office door was open and is was a wreck. This restaurant has the feel of chaos. I went next door to Bill Miller's because the BK bathroom was scary. I'll just eat at Bill Miller's if we stop at this exit again. I was forced to go hear cuz my pregnant wife wanted spicy stiff and BK was the only place open. I arrived late enough for them to be open but also put everything away as well preparing for end of night. These poor guys made food to amazing quality and threw in a pie for my wife. Went here to order chicken fries, and they did not tell me until I pulled up to the 2nd window that they were only taking cash. I asked the employee if they could enter in my credit card manually, and the young employee asks, "what do you mean?" I then proceed to tell her how, and she goes and speaks with the manager or team leader. She then tells me, "yeah, no we don't do that." I hate to be that person to complain, but this was ridiculous. I've been here many times before. I think it's okay with the occasional problems. In the past I noticed that their soda machine didn't work properly and it would come out too watery. But, it seems to have been fixed since then. However, I just went there again in order to get their limited edition shake and they said they were out of shakes. The whole point of us going there was for the shake. They also acted weird about some coupon acting like they needed to know the code on it which I've never been asked for in my entire life of using coupons anywhere. So, we left. Made it to our destination and planned on eating before the meeting. Pulled out my burger and it was a mess. My burger Missing ingredients and it looked horrible and sloppy. Like as if it might have been dressed wrong and the condiments scraped off. The wrapper looked like it had been used before. My wife's cHicken had half a jar of mayonnaise inside the sandwich and squirted out to the sides. Just horrible. The fries were fresh but the sandwiches seemed recycled. I tried calling them and the machine says the number is disconnected. I'm at work today (next day) so I'm sure the manager will be gone by the time I get off. Just horrible, food. Ok first things first, just like all burger joints Burger King is damn satisfying! I know I am speaking for many people when I say working in the food service industry isn't easy or stress free. It requires hard work from every employee! This Burger King in particular is rather small and happens to share parking with a gas station that is connected. I will gladly be the first to say that just about every bad review you can read on this location is a damn lie! Every time I go in for a meal and that includes the drive thru I am always greeted professionally by some one, I'm always shown professional hospitality and I think the only problem with this location is the damn guests themselves! Always I am witnessing a team member/employee being disrespected and verbally accosted by the guest! This Burger King has outstanding employees, great team work, perfect hospitality, and way too little respect and gratitude shown in return! I live less than two miles from this BK, I know what I'm saying to be accurate and true! I think it's very likely that the individuals who have posted these reviews are bullys and cowards! And I really want those kind of individuals to stop disrupting my experience and go be miserable and hateful elsewhere! 0 stars I only put 1 because YELP made me. We ordered here, and the people with me ordered 1 sandwich no cheese. They gave them 3 sandwiches WITH cheese and 1 without cheese. Wtf?! Then I ordered.... 15 minutes later they FINALLY drop the hashbrowns for my order. AFTER my sandwich had been sitting there for 10 minutes!! Then I go talk to the person at front and her excuse is, "we only have 3 people working today, but we're only waiting for the hashbrowns." Wtf, seriously! You have 3 people working and that's it at a FAST food restaurant?! And you tell me just to wait another 8-10 minutes for the hashbrowns?! Where tf am I eating?
