This location needs to up its game. I'm not one to pick on fast food places and rip them up. I understand that the people working in fast food are there because they need a job to pay their bills. With that said, this last trip to this location was disappointing. We ordered curbside for pickup through the app. We discovered all the following after we were back home. First, I paid for cheese on my burger, but got none. Second, the gravy that went with two of our three meals was white water. No taste. Not thick. It's like they poured water in the gravy because it was low, and thought no one would notice. It had the texture of plain water and no flavor at all. Do YOU like your chicken strips dipped in white water? Not likely. Finally, we had a gift of a free medium fry in the app, which we ordered. This Whataburger is so delicious that the drive-through line was long! Now, I don't mind a long line when it's speedy, but at the time of my visit, I waited over 20 minutes for fast food! There is a trend that I noticed with Whataburgers, and that is that they now have 2 lanes at the drive thru for faster service. An employee will charge you at your car (instead of at the drive through window) while you are waiting in the car line. In theory, the service should be faster, but all it does is create a mash up of cars. Some vehicles get there orders sooner than others and try to leave before the cars ahead of them, making a bigger mess. Two lanes just give the illusion that you'll be attended faster, but you won't. The person who serviced me didn't even look up, nor greet me. She just proceeded to tell me the price. I had to tell her, "good afternoon," myself before she mustard a smile. The grilled chicken sandwich (mustard, cheese, pickles only) has always been my go to. Mainly, I just want to order fries and use them as a spoon for spicy ketchup. Well I've been to Whataburger numerous times and these last three times have been trying. I understand that it's made "fresh to order", BUT sitting in the drive-through over 15 mins for a shake???? Oh, and the kicker, two times the straw had a hole in it so it was pretty useless. I refuse to wait the time it takes for a burger to be made. This is a 'fast food' place- dammit, I want my food fast. Not a huge fan of McDonald's or Burger King, but at least they put out consistent and quick products. This location got a great facelift! Parking is ideal,workers are happy and smiling and frequently checking to see if you need a refill, or extra condiments.
